Before the event could even begin, loud chants of Yuki Nomura's name rang out from the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON faithful. Over eight hundred fans had been packed inside the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium for the event, with many more turned away. Banners, flags, and even signs littered the crowd as all were in unison celebrating the retirement of the President and owner of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and the only true "ace" the promotion had ever known. Yuki Nomura kicked the event off by coming to the ring to no music, to a staggering amount of chants and cheers from the eight hundred fans. Nomura looked moved by their reaction before he asked them to quiet down. Nomura spoke with intent, saying that for the last two years he had been on the brink of retirement constantly. Nomura admitted that until the revival of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in the last two years, it had been difficult to make ends meet and had considered retirement not only for himself but for his family. Nomura praised his wife who sat at ringside, saying that she had put up with him far more then any woman should ever have to, and allowed him to indulge his fantasies for all these years. However, Nomura's mood brightened as he announced that starting tomorrow, he would embark on a new path in life, the path of making Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON the strongest promotion in Japan! Nomura said that the future of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would be based around men like those in the first match tonight, lead into the opening match as Nomura took a seat at ringside.
AVENIR's PREDATORS of Kaisen Tiger and Hiroshi Kuroki heading towards the biggest match of their career took on the Yankizoku team of Ryoma Inoue and Keiji Hirano in a fast paced sprint. Inoue once again attempted to recruit Hirano for his "METAL X" project, but once again Hirano ignored him. However, what Hirano couldn't ignore was the ferocity of PREDATORS attack, who fought with extra passion for their retiring leader. It would be Kaisen Tiger who scored the victory, hitting Keiji Hirano with his Bullet Wrath double knee pinfall attack for the three count! After the match, PREDATORS through Hiroshi Kuroki thanked Yuki Nomura for taking them under his wing these past few months, and that they looked forward to learning more and more under his teaching...Kuroki then said that the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championships belonged in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and that they had made it their goal as a team from day one to bring them back. Kuroki said that they would reclaim the championships on the 6th for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and for the fans!
Yankizoku and what may or may not be STRONGEST collided in the second match of the night, as C-1 Tag Team Champions of the AT CLUB Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano teamed with the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Keoni Murata to take on their enemies, the reformed team of the returning Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi along with the former two time C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo. Murata turned heads with his fleshly bleached blonde hair, apparently trying to appear as youthful as possible. Keoni Murata spent the early portions of the match trying to stay away from his former student Hayato Saigo, while Ariwa and Takano charged headfirst into their former NGI leaders. It wouldn't be a magical return from injury for Nobuyori Shimizu, as Takayuki Ariwa crushed into him with the Angelos for the crashing victory. With Shimizu, Noguchi and Saigo licking their wounds, the rough speaking Ariwa took up a microphone. The Yankizoku leader sarcastic praised Yuki Nomura for "getting out before he became embarrassing", but then told his former sempai's that unless they "leveled back up" they would be no match for the strongest team in Japan, the AT CLUB! As Yankizoku left the ring, a hurting Nobuyori Shimizu took up the discarded microphone. Shimizu apologized for his weakness tonight, but said that he would be at tip top form once again for their title match and promised revenge for the actions of Yankizoku.
What appears to be left of STRONGEST teamed up in the third match of the night, as C-1 Heavyweight Champion and IFS Openweight Champion Akuma Toyota led Millennium S.K. and Shuji Kawashima into battle against the match he would be defending against on the 6th and his group, the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS of "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop, Rui Kuriyama, and SLAYER. Bishop and Toyota tore into each other with no love lost whatsoever, while S.K. and SLAYER once again refused to attack each other, instead pairing off with the other two members of the respective team. For poor Shuji Kawashima this meant he was against SLAYER. There was absolutely no order to the match whatsoever, and no attempt was made to get anything under control. Shuji Kawashima proved to be the weakest link of the match, as the C-2 Openweight Champion Jake Bishop ran through him with the Texas Bomber for the three count fall.
Before the battle to decide the new leader of AVENIR could take place, Yuki Nomura invited all the members of AVENIR into the ring. Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi looked confused as they entered the ring. Nomura began to praising both Amagawa and Takahashi for their courage in stepping up, but then said that there was a "pressing issue" that had to be dealt with. However, Nomura was interrupted as Kaisen Tiger suddenly began to frantically try and get his attention. Tiger then pantomimed stomach problems, looking for Nomura to excuse him. Surprisingly Nomura agreed, and Kaisen Tiger ran to the backstage area as fast as he could while everyone watched bemused. After the brief pause, Nomura continued saying that in his second to last act as leader of AVENIR, he had recruited a new member for the group! The remaining members of AVENIR looked around the ring at each other with confusion, before Nomura bellowed out "WELCOME HOME SOJIRO, SAYUKI!" A large confused reaction went through the crowd as a remixed song from Sayuki's favorite anime Anpanman called "Anpanman no March" began to play, and Sojiro Sayuki made his return from fifteen months abroad! Once in the ring, Sayuki embraced Nomura and received a warm reaction from the fans while the other AVENIR members stood dumbfounded. Kazuki Takagi was surprisingly the first to speak up, leading off with "...Aren't you..." but stopped when Sayuki cocked his head in confusion. Everyone paused in an awkward silence, while Takagi put his fist to his chin in deep thought...Hiroshi Kuroki was next to speak, saying that he was glad to meet Sayuki after hearing about him, and the two shook hands to some laughter from the fans. This continued with both Amagawa and Takahashi, who welcomed Sayuki to their ranks. Meanwhile, Takagi was still lost deep in thought. Nomura apologized that Kaisen Tiger couldn't be here to welcome him also, but Sayuki spoke up that he had a feeling Tiger would be happy to see him to even more laughter from the crowd. Nomura got to business finally, saying that Sojiro Sayuki would be making his official Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON re-debut on the 5th. Nomura asked if Sayuki would like to wrestle sooner, but Sayuki declined saying that he needed time to get living arrangements for him and his wife. Nomura replied with a exclamation of "OOOH!" before congratulating him on his success with women to a sheepish reaction from Sayuki...Nomura invited Sayuki to sit at ringside and watch the final four matches, to which Sayuki accepted with a smile.
Having already been brought to the ring by Yuki Nomura, Shinsuke Takahashi and Kenjiro Amagawa only had to await their introductions to begin their match. Both men started off slow as their technical styles matched up to make an even, if albeit a slow start to the match. Neither man could get an upper hand grappling, as each were able to escape the others submissions and holds with little difficulty. However, Shinsuke Takahashi struck the first blow as he nailed Kenjiro Amagawa as he stood with the White Flash! Amagawa, realizing his own peril, rolled to the floor to avoid the pinfall. However, Takahashi followed Amagawa with a dive through the ropes, knowing that this was the biggest match he'd had since returning from exile! Takahashi took over the match at this point, wearing down the wounded Amagawa, specifically targeting Amagawa's left leg that Takahashi seemed to have damaged when he dived onto him. However, true to his personality, Amagawa refused to go down without a fight and managed to block both Takahashi's Clutching Knee and the White Flash before making his fiery comeback against Takahashi. The finishing stretch was thrilling with both men throwing everything they had at each other. Amagawa survived Takahashi's White Flash, but managed to avoid the Clutching Knee once again, while Takahashi avoided all of Amagawa's Backdrop variations, and turned the Figure Four into a cradle. Amagawa's recent surge of strength won him the match, as he blasted Takahashi with elbows in route to unsealing his mentor's finishing move, the Super Driver, sending Takahashi crushing to the back of his head for the three count fall! After the match, both men shared mutual respect for each other, before Amagawa promised to lead AVENIR to new heights in their war with Yankizoku!
Wrestlers filed out from the backstage area for the ceremony to begin. The fans picked up their chants of Yuki Nomura's name, as the CRIMSON legend walked to the ring for the very last time. Before the first match could begin, Nomura explained what would happen. Nomura would have three singles matches, one after the other with little to no break in between. After the matches, a short ceremony would be held to close out the night. However, Nomura looked abashed as he admitted that he had been unable to secure the fabled X for tonight's first match! There was a stunned pause, as Nomura sheepishly asked if any wrestler at ringside would want to fill in...Several wrestlers, notably Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu poised themselves to enter the ring when suddenly a voice rang out calling Nomura a "idiot" and promising that he would fight him one last time! The fans and wrestlers looked around in confusion for this mystery man when "Disorder King" began to play, signifying the return of Goro Iijima! Iijima came rampaging through the crowd carrying a chair and swinging at random fans, seemingly enjoying his chance to return to CRIMSON. Once the Disorder King hit the ring, Nomura asked Iijima what he was doing, as Iijima had REJECTED his invitation! Iijima simply replied that it wouldn't be like him to accept, instead he had to interrupt this ceremony and cause Disorder! Nomura thanked his hated rival, but Iijima told him that he wasn't doing this for him, but so that he'd have one last chance to beat Nomura down before he retired! True to his words, right before the bell rang, Iijima WHACKED Nomura across the head with the chair! Iijima covered, but Nomura kicked out at 2.9! Iijima poured on the offensive, kicking Nomura with full force as hard as he could, but Nomura refused to go down like many others would. Nomura fought back, and looked to have Iijima beat, but for the third time in CRIMSON, Iijima suddenly spit a clear liquid into Nomura's eyes! Exactly like how he lost the C-1 Heavyweight Championship to Iijima, Nomura recoiled in pain, grabbing his eyes before Iijima CRACKED him with the Kinan High Kick, covering for the three count fall! Hiroshi Kuroki dove into the ring with a towel to help get the liquid out of Nomura's eyes, while Iijima took a microphone and thanked Nomura, and actually wished him well in retirement. All the while Nomura screamed in pain...
Less then a minute passed before "Black Crow" played in the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium, bringing back one of the most beloved figures from CRIMSON's past, Hachiro Yakuta! Yakuta, never a very nice man in CRIMSON spared little time for Nomura once the bell rang, and attacked the near blinded Nomura. Nomura attempted to fight back, but Yakuta showed no mercy in his attacks, fighting as if this was for the championship he never won, the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. True to his style, Nomura never gave up, but with the liquid still in his eyes, Nomura was no match for Yakuta's power, as Yakuta nailed the Ace Black on Nomura, scoring the decisive win over his rival! After the match, Yakuta took the towel from Kuroki and showed the young man how to properly get the liquid out of Nomura's eyes...Yakuta was wistful, saying that he wished their match had been under different circumstances, but that he had done what he had to do. Yakuta thanked Nomura for inviting him, and took his place at ringside.
The crowd turned hostile as it was time for the final match of Yuki Nomura's retirement series, and the most important. Hachiro Yakuta helped AVENIR towel Nomura down and tried to prepare him, as "Iron Blue Intention" began to play, and "Iron Prince" Tenshin Komatsu came out, surprisingly alone. Komatsu had a smile on his face, obviously thinking that this would be a piece of cake after Nomura had been through so much. However, it became clear from his body language that Nomura was taking this more seriously then he had the past two matches. It also helped that Yakuta, upon seeing Komatsu's reaction, began to scream in Nomura's ear that it was "time to teach Komatsu a lesson", having had many run-ins with a younger Komatsu in years past...Once the bell rang, Komatsu came out sarcastically, and landing leg kicks as if to mock the tired and older Nomura. When Nomura would try to close the gap, the former Shotokan Karate user would dance away as if he trying to lure Nomura to get closer. However, Komatsu threw a mistimed kick, and Nomura caught it before immediately flooring Komatsu with a vicious elbow! Nomura screamed at the floored Komatsu to fight him "Seriously". Being talked down to like that caused Komatsu to react with rage, and charge Nomura...Exactly like how Nomura wanted him to. Komatsu threw a knee kick, and Nomura shifted behind him and cradled him exactly like how he had done four years ago! However, Komatsu was older and wiser and this time kicked out at 2.9! Komatsu again attempted a knee strike, but this time Nomura blocked it. However, that proved to be a costly mistake as Komatsu displayed the versatility of his striking, as he immediately spun around with an Uraken to Nomura's face! Nomura reeled from the blow, and Komatsu poured it on with knee strikes, before attempting a hip throw. However, Nomura lowered his center of gravity, nailed Komatsu a few times in the midsection before slamming Komatsu to the ground with a bodyslam! The match followed this pattern, with Komatsu attempting to "fight" his way to victory, but Nomura would absord the punishment before using Pro-Wrestling to counter Komatsu's attacks. However, as the match wore on, it became more and more obvious that Nomura had having difficulty keeping up with Komatsu's attacks...yet Nomura refused to give up countering Komatsu and even almost won with a sudden Shukuen! Nomura knocked Komatsu out of the ring with an elbow strike...As Komatsu attempted to re-enter the ring, Nomura went to suplex him...but Komatsu suddenly landed a vicious enzuigiri to the back of the head. Nomura stumbled backwards, as Komatsu Springboarded into the ring while screaming "Shikaeshi!!" and CLASHED his knee into the side of Nomura's head with a Springboard Knee! Nomura collapsed almost on top of himself, as Komatsu covered and scored the three count!
Komatsu began throwing his arms in the air screaming "I did it!" over and over as AVENIR rushed into the ring to check on Nomura, who wasn't moving. A chair was brought into the ring as Nomura was beginning to come to...Nomura was propped in the chair. After several more minutes, Nomura insisted that he was fine, and the ceremony began...Surprisingly, Tenshin Komatsu went first. Komatsu admitted that he had always looked up to Nomura, but said that he was ashamed to see that Nomura ended up being a "no talent old man" in the end...AVENIR attempted to charge Komatsu, but Yakuta and Nomura held them back...Komatsu then thanked Nomura for his overconfidence in giving him the "key to the C-1". Having said his piece, Komatsu left the ring alone...
One by one AVENIR went next, with handshakes and bows spread all around. However, Nomura stopped Kenjiro Amagawa. Nomura told Amagawa that he couldn't let his feelings overwhelm him, and not to give in to anger. He told Amagawa that he had to be the "shining beacon" of AVENIR...
Akuma Toyota and Yuki Nomura coolly exchanged handshakes and bows, neither liking the other much, while Shimizu was greeted with a fatherly hug. The next notable one was Hachiro Yakuta, who thanked Yuki Nomura for always being the one to challenge him from the start, saying that Nomura had helped him become who he was through their rivalry. The two shook hands, before Nomura changed it to an embrace, one that the stoic Yakuta did not seem ill pleased to receive.
Goro Iijima stated that it had been "fun while it lasted" in regards to their feud, before wishing Nomura well...Iijima then SLAPPED Nomura as hard as he could, then screamed "That felt good!" to laughter from the crowd...
The final person to greet Nomura was Ryo Suzuki, who embraced Nomura. Nomura told Suzuki that he would be "relying on him" from this day forward to help him build an even stronger CRIMSON. Suzuki seemed excited about that, and asked if Nomura would send his dojo more money to cover expenses. Nomura quickly averted subjects.
With that all out of the way, Nomura thanked the fans for the memories, and said that they needed to continue to support Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON even if he no longer wrestled. To finish the show, Nomura led the crowd in a chant of "CRIMSON" as best he could...
