[CRIMSON] FINAL NIGHT ~ C-1 FUSION LEAGUE ~ 1/25/09 @ Towada Citizen Gymnasium

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to the Towada Citizen Gymnasium for the final night of the C-1 FUSION LEAGUE with five teams still in play. Shockingly, attendance spiked heavily from the night before due to intrigue over who would win the tournament and a locked main event of STRONGEST fighting for the tag titles. The night opened up with the Yankizoku team of Ryoma Inoue and Ikuji Royama taking on the odd team of SLAYER and Kazuki Takagi. SLAYER barely lifted a finger to help Takagi in route to Takagi's loss to Ikuji Royama and his rarely used Capture Suplex.

STRONGEST and unaligned clashed in the second match of the night, as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo led Millennium S.K. and Shuji Kawashima into battle against Toshiro Noguchi, Keoni Murata and Natsuo Sakoda. Sakoda's run of bad form continued, as Saigo spiked Sakoda on his head with a Brainbuster for the three count victory.

Two teams with nothing to fight for but bragging rights opened up the first tournament match of the night. PREDATORS of Hiroshi Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger took on the Yankizoku team of Mikio Tsuruya and BIG BOY Tomizaki. Before the match even began, Tsuruya attempted once again to get Tomizaki to throw the match. However, Tsuruya was caught off guard as Tomizaki suddenly burst into tears! Through sniffles, Tomizaki revealed that he had been called by his parents, who were threatening to cut him off financially if they didn't win at least one tournament match! There was a long pause, before Tsuruya callously said, "You're rich?" to which Tomizaki burst into further hysterics at the idea of being cut off from his family's money...Tsuruya vowed to fight for Tomizaki and get them their first win. His vow lasted a minute. Tsuruya was nailed with a solebutt by Kaisen Tiger. Tsuruya responded by leaving the ring, throwing a fan out of his seat and sitting down next to the man's wife before throwing his arm around her, and striking a conversation. When the husband attempted to intervene, Tsuruya got angry at the man for interupting their conversation...Alone, there wasn't much Tomizaki could do, and ended up being pinned by a Kaisen Tiger Suplex hold. Tsuruya attempted to calm Tomizaki's hysterics, telling him that they could bunk together at his apartment. Tomizaki brightened up, realizing he wouldn't be on the streets, but his enthusiasm was dampened when Tsuruya stated they'd just have to ask his three other roommates for approval first...

With their tournament lives at stake Yuki Nomura and Kenjiro Amagawa went into war with the eliminated OVERTHROW, whose only hope was to knock Nomura and Amagawa out of the tournament as some kind of vindication...The two teams clashed evenly, with neither side being able to get a definitive advantage. What Nomura and Amagawa had in size, they gave up in speed. Technical abilities were about the same, however, the sheer skill of Daishi continued to amaze as he effortlessly was able to counter any hold Nomura and Amagawa attempted to place on him more then once. However, it would be the top contender for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship, Yuki Nomura would would refuse to be denied. Nomura and Akahito Yamada went toe to toe in the ring while Amagawa and Daishi fought at ringside. The former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Yamada proved to be a worthy challenge for Nomura, however, the president of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was able to best him by using his rarely used Twisted Angel Driver, spiking Yamada on his face for the three count to keep his team in the running! After the match, Yuki Nomura suddenly called Shinsuke Takahashi into the ring from his spot at ringside seconding Nomura and Amagawa. Nomura explained over the microphone that he felt a month of watching was enough for Takahashi and told him that he would be making his CRIMSON debut on the 1st in Hokkaido! Takahashi was excited, and asked who he'd be facing to which Nomura replied that he would be facing him! Nomura explained that it would be a five minute time limit match to help Takahashi get prepared to wrestle in CRIMSON, and to help Nomura get prepared for his match later in the show against Akuma Toyota. Nomura pointed at Takahashi, and told him that if he went light on him that he would immediately fire him! Nomura screamed at Takahashi that for five minutes he wanted to see and feel the very spirit inside of his heart that made him return to pro-wrestling!

With the victory by Yuki Nomura and Kenjiro Amagawa, LOVE found themselves knocked out of the running for the finals by process of elimination. The only thing Hiriyama and Okamura had left was the possibility of playing spoiler for the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS. ShinoMura seemed to relish this opportunity as they tore into the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS before the bell. Against Kuriyama, their ambush tactic worked, but against the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop, ShinoMura found themselves in a unsatisfactory situation as the wild eyed gaijin fought back even more viciously then they had attacked him, including grabbing random objects at ringside and bludgeoning their heads with them. Bishop was so infuriated at one point, he picked up a pen from the announce table and began to stab Hiriyama in the face with it over and over as the referee begged for him to stop! However, Bishop absolute mauling of Hiriyama left his weak partner in the ring with Kazuhiro Okamura. There was a significant gap in strength of the two men, as Kuriyama attempted to keep up with Okamura's skill with pure brute force to little to no degree of success. However, Rui Kuriyama actually displayed his own fighting spirit with their tournament lives on the line, and kept getting up no matter what Okamura hit him with! Shino Hiriyama managed to escape from Bishop and hit the ring, leading to a brief double team on Kuriyama before Bishop reappeared from the back of the building with a vengeance as he attacked Hiriyama once again.  In the melee there was a sudden flurry of activity as Tenshin Komatsu suddenly appeared at ringside and slid a chair in the ring! As the referee attempted to break up the fight, Kazuhiro Okamura slammed the chair down on Rui Kuriyama's head! Okamura then hit the KO Cutter on Kuriyama as the referee turned around and counted the fall to end the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS chances in the tournament! Bishop was stunned at the loss when he heard the result; however, he noticed Komatsu at ringside and noticed the bent chair. Quickly Bishop put two and two together, and almost seemed stunned by his own rage. Bishop snapped out of it and began screaming "YOUSUNOFABITCH!" at Komatsu while leaving the ring to attack LOVE! Ringboys and the referee dived in-between as LOVE made a hasty retreat as Bishop began grabbing items at ringside and hurling them around in a vicious outburst of rage...

One final tournament match was left, and only three teams were left in the running. Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu had a tough task ahead of them, forced to wrestle the AT CLUB and then face off against their opponents in the finals. Their opponents, the AT CLUB of Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano remained in the running needing a victory, while on the outside looking in was the AVENIR team of Yuki Nomura and Kenjiro Amagawa, the only team to not be beaten by STRONGEST in the group stages. If AT CLUB failed, they would be in the finals.

STRONGEST and the AT CLUB faced off with the crowd at the Towada Citizen Gymnasium coming alive for this match, knowing that the fate of three teams hung in the balance. The match was paced slowly, with both teams unwilling to make mistakes. However, the ground work and headlocks wouldn't last long as the ill feelings between Nobuyori Shimizu and Takayuki Ariwa along with the hatred between Akuma Toyota and Hiroyuki Takano exploded in a violent burst. Shimizu and Ariwa began screaming at each other at one point after an exchange of blows, with all the old feelings from the last years emerging like it had taken place the day before. Shimizu screamed that Ariwa had betrayed him, while Ariwa screamed that Shimizu had been holding him back. They ended up spilling out to the floor, clearing the floor for Toyota and Takano. There was no storyline for these two beyond the fact that they hate each other. Toyota and Takano had a high level exchange with Toyota attempting to swat the buzzing fly that was Takano, but Takano used his cleverness and speed to avoid Toyota's lunges with dodges and dives frustrating the C-1 Heavyweight Champion immensely. Toyota finally became so enraged that he ceased chasing Takano, and instead screamed "Fight like a man!" and motioned for Takano to face him straight up! Having his manhood challenged, Takano accepted Toyota's challenge, and leading to an intense stare down from the two with their heads touching before Takano suddenly slapped the taste of Toyota's mouth! Toyota stumbled back, and Takano knocked Toyota out of the ring with a dropkick that sent Toyota to the floor! Takano followed him out with a absolutely beautiful dive over the ropes...However, Toyota displayed his power by CATCHING Takano, and then in one motion THREW TAKANO INTO THE CROWD! Takano flipped into the crowd, sending women and men scattering out of the way as Takano wiped out nearly an entire section. Toyota seemingly proud of his violent action followed his enemy into the crowd. With Takano and Toyota in the crowd, Ariwa and Shimizu moved back in where they picked up front and center where they had left off. Shimizu and Ariwa beat the living hell out of each other, with dull thuds echoing throughout the arena. Despite his experience age, Shimizu found himself on the losing end of the exchange if only due to Ariwa's absolutely staggering power. Ariwa won the battle of the strikes, but when Ariwa attempted to finish his former senpai with a running blow, Shimizu changed levels and took out Ariwa's knees with a dropkick! The match finally settled down as Shimizu and Toyota took turns working over Ariwa's legs and doing everything they could to keep him from reaching his power base standing. However, despite being in peril the crowd never got behind Ariwa, as Ariwa kept trying underhand tactics to get his comeback, including a low blow on Toyota. It ultimately failed, as Toyota proved to be incredibly vengeful and immediately blatantly punched Ariwa in the testicles, causing both men to fall over stunned to the cheers of the crowd...Ariwa finally got his chance to make the tag after countering a Toyota lariat by ducking under and giving Toyota one of his own. Takano entered the ring with a springboard dropkick to his hated enemy Akuma Toyota, and then followed it up with a beautiful Takano Flash to the side of Shimizu's head on the apron! Takano attempted to hit Toyota with his Takano Driver, but Toyota's girth proved to be almost too much for Takano as he stumbled backwards as he lifted Toyota, causing him not to hit the move full on. Toyota responded to Takano's finisher by immediately getting up and lariating Takano's head off before tagging in Shimizu! Shimizu came in, much like Takano had, a ball of fire landing vicious elbow strikes, before hooking Takano and dropping him on his head with the Tsuyosa German Suplex! However, instead of keeping the bridge, Shimizu rolled with it and hit a second, this time keeping the bridge! Ariwa dived in at 2.9 and broke up the pin. As Ariwa was leaving the ring, Shimizu gave his former follower what was almost a cheap shot, as he nailed Ariwa in the back of the head, sending him crashing to the floor! The blow had a disturbing effect, however. As soon as Ariwa hit the floor, he began to SCREAM in absolute rage, pulling himself up to his feet shakily, with a crazy, wild eyed look on his face. BIG BOY Tomizaki at ringside attempted to tend to his leader, but Ariwa dragged him and threw him so hard he flew over the railing at ringside! Ariwa ran into the ring, and caught the surprised Shimizu with a MURDEROUS lariat, nearly ripping Shimizu's head off! Ariwa followed it up with a running ANGELOS to the face of Toyota, sending the C-1 Heavyweight Champion crashing into the railing! Ariwa grabbed Takano and hulked him up, carried him to their corner and dropped his partner, before tagging himself in! Ariwa came into the ring as Shimizu was slowly pulling himself up. Ariwa bellowed out "SENPAI!" before CRUSHING Shimizu with a lariat! However, Shimizu had prepared himself and withstood the blow, before screaming out that Ariwa was too weak! Ariwa responded with a crushing slap to the face of Shimizu, and Shimizu responded with his own until both were flailing their arms as hard as they could, slapping each other with all the force they could muster! Despite being in the loosing end, Shimizu refused to fall to his former kouhai, and kept fighting back! Ariwa, even in his bloodlust state realized he wasn't going to win the battle of wills and suddenly PUNCHED SHIMIZU DEAD IN THE FACE! The crowd roared with disapproval as Shimizu fell to his knees from the blow. Takano, having been almost in shock at what he was seeing, realized that Ariwa had landed a decisive blow and raced around the ring to grab Toyota and hold onto him for dear life. Shimizu struggled to pull himself to his feet, only to be MURDERED by a Ariwa lariat! Shimizu crashed to the mat, but Ariwa wasn't done. Ariwa pulled up Shimizu by his hair, before lariating him again! Ariwa began to repeat this time after time, as Toyota screamed at Shimizu to fight back, but Shimizu was almost litterally having his very fighting spirit BEATEN out of him! Ariwa finally lifted Shimizu and backed up against the ropes, breathing heavily. Shimizu had a vacant look on his face, as if he wasn't even awake anymore. Toyota tried to desperately escape Takano's grasp, but Takano had managed to somehow hook the ropes around his grasp, making him almost impossible to escape from. Ariwa stared at his former mentor, before he screamed "DIE!!!", charged and nailed a running Angelos! Ariwa fell on top his mentor, hooking the back leg BUT SHIMIZU KICKED OUT AT 2.9! A stunned roar went through the crowd, as Shimizu's never ending spirit shone itself once again! Instead of being shocked like most would, Ariwa only seemed to be ANGERIER at Shimizu's refusal to stay down and began to kick him in the face as hard as he possibly could! Ariwa grabbed Shimizu by the head in a vice grip, and began to drag his almost dead body to the ropes on the opposite side of where Takano held Toyota. Once they reached the ropes, Ariwa used his foot to push Shimizu below the ropes and onto the apron. A mixed reaction of horror and suspense went through the crowd as Ariwa followed Shimizu onto the apron, and began to try and lift Shimizu's dead weight. Toyota, realizing that something very, very bad was about to happen began to try and fight free with all of his might, but other Yankizoku members appeared out of the wood work, with Tomizaki and Inoue grabbing onto his legs to restrain him! Saigo, S.K, and Kawashima rushed to the ring, but the other Yankizoku members had formed a barrier in the aisle way to keep them from intervening. Shimizu, what was left of him, realized that he was in mortal danger and began to try and fight back with elbows, but Ariwa silenced him with knees and clubbing blows. Ariwa hooked Shimizu in a powerbomb position as a wave of pure horror went through the crowd. Ariwa dead lifted Shimizu onto his shoulder and then slowly pressed him up in a familiar position of Ariwa's SPLASH MOUNTAIN! Toyota seemed legitimately scared for Shimizu as he began to SCREAM at Ariwa to stop what he was going to do, but couldn't escape Takano's grasp! Ariwa paused with Shimizu pressed far above his head AND THEN LEAPED INTO THE AIR SITTING OUT WITH THE SPLASH MOUNTAIN FROM THE APRON TO THE FLOOR! Shimizu fell from a SICKENING height, landing between Ariwa's legs and BOUNCING ON THE CEMENT. Shimizu IMMEDIATELY curled into a ball, and began to cough from the landing to the point where he almost began to vomit. Shimizu coughed until he appeared to pass completely out. Ariwa landed roughly on his hips, but ignored the pain and forced himself to his feet. Everyone at ringside that could rush to Shimizu's side did so, as Ariwa stood over him...AND THEN BEGAN TO TRY AND LIFT SHIMIZU. Realizing that Ariwa wasn't *DONE* with Shimizu yet, the referee pulled Ariwa away and signaled for the bell! A confused moment passed, until it was clarified over the PA system that the referee had awarded the match to the AT CLUB by way of REFEREE STOPPAGE because Nobuyori Shimizu could no longer compete!

Even though he had secured the win, and the spot in the finals, Takayuki Ariwa seemed angry that he wasn't able to hurt his former mentor any more. Takano released Toyota, who IMMEDIATELY grabbed a chair at ringside, and ran to Shimizu's side to keep Ariwa from doing any more damage. Yuki Nomura broke through Yankizoku's blockade and forced everyone to the back in the aisle. Once at ringside, Nomura shoved Ariwa backwards away from Shimizu while screaming that he had "done enough" and if he was "trying to commit murder". Nomura ordered Ariwa into the ring, and surprisingly the Yankizoku leader allowed Nomura to give him an order, and went into the ring without incident. Medics rushed to the ring and began to treat the unconscious Shimizu, with the medics refusing to let anyone touch or move him. A back brace and gurney were brought to ringside along with a neck brace. With care, they placed Shimizu in, and on all of them. During all of this, Toshiro Noguchi had run to ringside and was kneeling next to Shimizu's body trying to wake his best friend up as Akuma Toyota looked on helplessly. Shimizu was wheeled out of the arena, but as he was leaving Shimizu woke up and waved his hand to the fans, as if trying to make their worries go away, causing the crowd to burst out into almost unanimous "Shimizu" chants. At ringside, there was commotion, as Nomura looked frustrated, angry, and confused as to what to do at this point. Nomura took a microphone, and announced with a heavy voice that this set up the FINALS of the Tag tournament! Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano versus Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu...but that Shimizu would be unable to wrestle. Nomura then offered Toyota the chance to forfeit the match since he didn't have a partner. However, before Toyota could respond, Toshiro Noguchi suddenly broke in and DEMANDED to be allowed to be Akuma Toyota's partner! Nomura was taken aback by Noguchi's words, but Noguchi stated that Shimizu was his best friend and he would be *DAMNED* if he would simply watch what happened and not do anything! Nomura looked regretful, as he told Noguchi that he couldn't allow that. Noguchi hadn't been in the tournament, nor had he earned the right, and so he couldn't be allowed to step in. Noguchi seemed quite stunned by Nomura's refusal, before SLAPPING Nomura in the face as hard as he could! Noguchi then screamed at the AT CLUB that he would gain vengeance on them and that they should be watching their back from now on...After he recovered from having his brain scrambled, Nomura asked Toyota what he wanted to do? Would he forfeit the match, or face off against the AT CLUB alone. Toyota picked up the chair he had rushed over with, before saying that he would prove that Shimizu's pain wasn't in vain and give the AT CLUB back ten fold of what they had dished out! To a thunderous round of cheers, Akuma Toyota, the proud C-1 Heavyweight Champion climbed back into the ring to face off against almost impossible odds for the sake of pride and what was right. Chants of "Toyota" rang out as Toyota REFUSED to wait for the introductions, and immediately charged the AT CLUB, swinging his chair like a man man! Toyota CRACKED Ariwa upside the face with the chair, and hit Takano so hard that Takano flew over the ropes while Ariwa retreated. Toyota thrust both arms into the air and screamed in defiant rage as the crowd gave him a hero's ovation!

Despite having the man advantage, the AT CLUB seemed more then reluctant to get back into the ring with a quite obviously enraged Akuma Toyota. Instead, Ariwa and Takano spent several seconds on the outside regrouping and thinking things over. The referee finally had enough and began to scream at them to get back into the ring. This proved to be a ruse as right when the referee turned his back, BIG BOY Tomizaki ran into the ring with his bamboo sword and attempted to ambush Toyota, only to be BRUTALLY MURDERED by a Toyota lariat. The bamboo sword went flying into the air and landed in the first row for some lucky fan. With their ruse having backfired, the AT CLUB slowly got back in the ring, and made sure to bail if Toyota began to charge. This only made the C-1 Heavyweight Champion angrier, to the point where Toyota lost all senses of self control and ran out of the ring after them! THIS was what the AT CLUB had wanted, and right when Toyota caught up to Takano, Takano NAILED Toyota in the gut with a chair! Ariwa followed it up with a lariat to the back of Toyota's head that sent him flying into the ring post, cracking his head. The AT CLUB distracted the angry referee allowing the recovered Tomizaki to choke and stomp away at the body of Toyota. It seemed to have little effect as Toyota got up none the less, causing Tomizaki to flee in fear. However, the double team by the AT CLUB had had it's effect, as Toyota's head was lacerated and he appeared to be groggy on his feet. Toyota rolled into the ring, obviously ill off and the AT CLUB immediately pounced. Ignoring all concepts of tags or legal tactics, the AT CLUB tore into the wounded C-1 Heavyweight Champion, regardless of the referee's protests or screams. Akuma Toyota refused to go down quietly despite the mugging, and wildly fought back even with half of his vision cut off due to blood. Toyota resorted to what were virtually lariats as his main defensive move, and clocked the AT CLUB a few times, but they're constant attacks eventually wore down the proud champion until he fell to the ground. The crowd was getting increasingly enraged at the AT CLUB, which Hiroyuki Takano made only worse by mockingly bowing to the fans just to incite them further while Ariwa viciously choked the life out of Toyota. The AT CLUB realized that simply beating on Toyota would never put the champion away, and instead came up with an absolute sickening tactic. The AT CLUB got on either side of Toyota. Takano then hit a Takano Flash to the back of Toyota's head. Before Toyota could fall, Ariwa BLASTED him with a lariat! The two began to trade back and forth, hitting Toyota like a ping pong ball. Takano in particular was firing off his Takano Flashes with such speed that it was awe inspiring, as the momentum was the only thing keeping Toyota upright near the end. The AT CLUB hit a variety of double team moves, as Yuki Nomura moved up from ringside to watch the match closely, as if he was on the verge of stopping it at any second. However, every so often, the C-1 Heavyweight Champion would go on a burst of short offense, but would be cut off by the AT CLUB. A miscommunication by Takano and Ariwa caused the two to run together, sending Ariwa to the floor. This gave Akuma Toyota new life, as the crowd came alive as he rose to his feet. Takano rose to his feet, and slowly looked up at the frame of Toyota, causing the two to have a brief stare. Toyota slowly and deliberately touched his face, getting blood on his hand. Both men stared at Toyota's hand. Toyota very slowly and deliberately rubbed his blood on Takano's face and then CRUSHED him with a lariat! Toyota began to scream in defiance with blood running down his face and onto his chest. Toyota began to stomp his foot into the mat, causing the fans at the Towada Citizen Gymnasium to do the same in unison! When Takano got up, Toyota charged and BLASTED Takano with a lariat, causing Takano to do a three sixty! Ariwa climbed back into the ring, but he too was beheaded by the impossibly strong champion! At ringside, Yuki Nomura had a look on his face of pure awe, as up close he saw the true will of Akuma Toyota exposed to the world. For a brief second Toyota stood in the ring alone with both AT CLUB on the mat, battered and bruised, and his aura radiated off him like the sun beating down from the heavens. The strongest, perhaps in the history of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON refused to fall, refused to be beaten. Every time Ariwa or Takano would stand up, Toyota was waiting for them and would beat them to the ground. Takano was the first victim, picked up and slammed to the ground by Toyota's Akuma Ichimonji…but instead of pinning Takano, Toyota turned his attention to Takayuki Ariwa. The man who for no reason other then his own anger had placed Nobuyori Shimizu's life on the line; Akuma Toyota had a special fate in store for the Yankizoku leader. Takano lifted Ariwa, and while holding the back of his head with his left arm began to viciously, cruelly, and powerfully lariat Ariwa over and over to the chest and throat region with sickening thuds. After several of these, Toyota grabbed Ariwa and nailed him with the Akuma Ichimonji! However, he AGAIN did not pin him. Toyota stood over Ariwa, and slowly made a throat slitting motion before screaming out "SAKUJO"! Fans began to stand up as Toyota had called out for his one-shot death move. Realizing their leader was about to be defeated, Yankizoku sprung into action. BIG BOY Tomizaki halfway dove into the ring and grabbed onto Toyota's legs, holding on for dear life. Tsuruya suddenly appeared and placed BAG over the referee's head and tied it shut to keep him from seeing any of this, and Yankizoku hit the ring! All the members of Yankizoku began to attack Toyota at will! Toyota fought them as best he could, but even for him there were too many to deal with. At ringside, Yuki Nomura dramatically pulled his jacket off and threw it to the ground before the CRIMSON President CHARGED THE RING ALONE to help the man he will be FACING on the 1st! The crowd roared as Nomura went after all the members of Yankizoku with abandon! Yankizoku started to overwhelm Nomura, but Toyota made a comeback, and the two men held their own! AVENIR and STRONGEST came rushing out of the back, working in tandem and aided Nomura and Toyota until the ring was cleared of Yankizoku members aside of Ariwa and Takano! Nomura freed the referee of his bag based hell, and balled him an idiot for allowing that to happen, as the match finally returned to normal. Or so it would seem, as with Nomura and the referee distracted, TENSHIN KOMATSU ONCE AGAIN suddenly hit ringside, climbed onto the apron, ran AND BLASTED TOYOTA IN THE FACE WITH A FLYING KNEE! As soon as he hit, the LOVE terrorist leader was *GONE*, taking off running to the backstage. Toyota stepped out of the corner dazed…Ariwa hooked Toyota, lifted him, AND HIT A SPLASH MOUNTAIN! Instead of pinning, Ariwa gave a signal, and Hiroyuki Takano, absolutely beaming with pride leapt to the top rope and flew off with a BEAUTIFUL Moonsault onto the C-1 Heavyweight Champion AND SCORED THE THREE COUNT VICTORY! The crowd roared with disproval as they realized they had seen an absolute robbery, as Ariwa and Takano fled to the back without even waiting to get presented their championships as the event came to a hasty end.
