[CRIMSON] Results Catch-Up #3

Akita Terusa saw it's first night of two back to back CRIMSON  events. Before the event took place, AVENIR called a special  training session in the middle of the ring. Nomura threw out  demands during the workout like a drill Sargent. Unsurprisingly  Kenjiro Amagawa set the pace for the young men easily,  showing how athletically gifted he truly is as nothing Nomura  threw at him could hinder him. PREDATORS both kept up, but  not without troubles. At the end of the spectrum was Kazuki  Takagi who at one point began watching the other three, and  then screamed that there was no way he could possibly do as  well as they could. For his comment, Nomura began his "hell  training", using Amagawa to demonstrate what he wanted.  Amagawa planted his foot forward and began to sway back and  forth frantically, using his lead foot to control his speed, balance  and weight. Nomura then explained that almost all power  standing up could be traced to how strong the feet of the  wrestler is. Takagi looked less then enthused to try this out, and  when he attempted to sway as violently as Amagawa had been,  Takagi managed to somehow spin in place and slam to the  ground...Nomura then told the big man that from now on, he  wanted to see Takagi practicing at almost all times to which  Takagi nearly cried...

In the opening match, the Unaligned team of Keoni Murata and  Naoki Daishi proved to be too much for the Yankizoku team of  BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ryoma Inoue, with Murata pinning  Tomizaki with a Backdrop Hold.

Yankizoku rebounded in the second match, as Seiji Ebisawa  and the unbeaten since his return Ikuji Royama were victorious  over the unaligned team of Toshiro Noguchi and Natsuo  Sakoda. Royama showing the victory over Sakoda with a Sliding  Shotei.

The TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS easily dispatched the Yankizoku  team of Takayuki Ariwa and Ichiyo Tatsuko, pinning who else  but Ichiyo Tatsuko. Bishop and Ariwa clashed a few times in the  match with neither man coming away stronger for it...but Tatsuko  was the one to eat the Texan Bomber for the three count.

STRONGEST clashed with AVENIR in the fourth match.  STRONGEST emerged victorious after Toyota blasted a dead  tired Kazuki Takagi with a lariat for the three count. Nomura was  not pleased with Takagi's display, brought out a wooden stick  from under the ring and proceeded to beat Takagi to the back  while screaming about "beating the talent out of him"...

The Backdrop Brothers were supposed to collide in the fifth  match, but it was clearly not to be. From the opening bell,  Tsuruya used every heel tactic he could think of in order to be  disqualified, but the referee refused to do so! The two began to  exchange brutal elbows in the center of the ring. Amagawa with  his better form, but Tsuruya with his more mass meant neither  could get the upperhand...until Yankizoku invaded the ring for  the disqualification! All nine members began to attack Kenjiro  Amagawa, but a combined force of STRONGEST and AVENIR  ran out to chase the heel army away! Yuki Nomura tended to  Amagawa's wounds and then launched into a tirade on Seiji  Ebisawa's cowardice. Nomura then made a grandstand  challenge...challenging Seiji Ebisawa to a BANISHMENT  MATCH! The crowd in Akita Terusa were caught off guard by  Nomura's guts to challenge Ebisawa to such a match. Ebisawa  replied, saying that he couldn't trust Nomura to actually banish  himself from the ring since he's the President...but Nomura  swore that if he lost he would *never* wrestle in CRIMSON  again! But then said that if Ebisawa lost, there wouldn't be  anyone to overturn the banishment this time. Seiji Ebisawa  paused for a lengthy period of time while Ryoma Inoue tried to  convince Seiji Ebisawa to not accept...but then Seiji Ebisawa  ACCEPTED the challenge from Yuki Nomura, and then  promised to seal away the identity of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's  figure-head once and for all!

The C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship challenger was  decided in a four way elimination match pitting almost all the  sides of CRIMSON against each other. Keiji Hirano represented  Yankizoku, Akahito Yamada represented unaligned, SLAYER  represented the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS, and Sorai Kamachi  represented STRONGEST. Early on, the match was almost  paced as a tornado tag as Keiji Hirano and Akahito Yamada  found themselves working together to take on the temporarily  reunited SLAYER and Sorai Kamachi. With no issues at all,  SLAYER fell effortlessly back into task of listening to Kamachi's  demands. The alliance between Yamada and Hirano crumbled  however, as Yamada suddenly slammed Hirano on the back of  his head around the seven minute mark with a german suplex,  and Kamachi came flying off the top with his Kamachi Big Bang  for the elimination! SLAYER and Kamachi worked over Yamada  for several minutes, but Yamada was able to cause a miscue as  SLAYER accidentally beheaded Kamachi with the Zanzai Lariat!  SLAYER looked...concerned? but Yamada caught him as he  was staring at his old leader with the Musubime to score the  only weakness SLAYER has, the cradle for the elimination! This  left two former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champions to duke it  out for the right to face Saigo and after seven minutes of thrilling  action, Yamada scored the Straight Jacket Suplex Hold to win  the championship shot!

Akahito Yamada cut a tearful microphone appeal post match,  saying that it had been almost eight months since Hayato Saigo  bested him for the championship, and that he would reclaim his  form from earlier this year and take back the championship!  Hayato Saigo entered the ring to loud calls of his name, and the  two had a brief stare down, before Saigo extended his hand and  the two rivals clasped hands in a show of respect!

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Akita Terusa for the  Sunday day of WEEKEND RHAPSODY on the 7th. In the  opening match, Mikio Tsuruya showed his own strength by  destroying STRONGEST's Shuji Kawashima with the Akuji  Backdrop Driver for the fall. Tsuruya took a microphone and cut  a taunting promo on Amagawa, demanding to know where his  "brother" was, and why he wasn't coming out to fight him.  Amagawa sprinted to the ring as fast as he could, but Tsuruya  tauntingly left the ring and then backpedaled to the back while  making ridiculous faces at Amagawa...

Jake Bishop scored an indirect fall over Hiroyuki Takano leading  into to their C-2 Openweight Championship match, as the  TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS scored the win over Takano, Inoue,  and Tomizaki. Of note, is that all three members of the TEXAS  ROUGHRIDERS were sporting cowboy boots, which seemed  to give SLAYER problems throughout...

PREDATORS scored a solid victory heading into their C-1 Tag  Team Challenge Determination match, as they defeated the  unaligned team of Natsuo Sakoda and Keoni Murata, with  Kaisen Tiger scoring the win with his Bullet Wrath.

AVENIR continues to have problems with Kazuki Takagi. Before  the match even began, Yuki Nomura demanded to know why  Takagi hadn't been showing up to their practices...to which  Takagi screamed that Nomura beats him with a stick when he  does show up. Nomura then punished Takagi by forcing him to  sit on the apron and not tag in, turning the match into a virtual  three on two handicap match... Near the end, Takagi tagged  himself in, and was immediately crushed by a Toshiro Noguchi  Thunder Hammer for the three count fall. Yuki Nomura was  baffled by what had happened until he saw Takagi in the ring.  Takagi then ran to the back with a very angry AVENIR chasing  after him.

STRONGEST and Yankizoku clashed in the main event.  Yankizoku brought their A-game to the table, but they couldn't  overcome the awesome power of STRONGEST, leading to  Nobuyori Shimizu getting the three count after blasting Keiji  Hirano with a running elbow. Surprisingly, the other  STRONGEST members, including Shimizu's own opponent  Akuma Toyota allowed Shimizu to cut a heart felt promo.  Shimizu brought up his debut, his years as a tag team member,  his injuries and how through it all he never gave up. Shimizu  called the 24th the "culmination of everything I've ever worked  for", and then told Akuma Toyota to bring everything he had to  bear on him on that night, because Shimizu stated that he  wouldn't give up, he wouldn't defeated. Akuma Toyota would  have to *KILL HIM* to win the match. Toyota stepped forward,  and said that he planned on using everything he's ever learned  to defeat Shimizu and the two promised to have the best match  they possibly could to a round of applause, not only from the  fans but from Saigo and Kamachi as well...

----

STRONGEST and the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS faced off in  the opening match. The overall power of Sorai Kamachi and  Akuma Toyota proved to be too much for SLAYER and Rui  Kuriyama to overcome leading to Kuriyama eating a lariat from  the C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota. Backstage after  the match, Sorai Kamachi confided in Akuma that he was  secretly pulling for him in his match with Shimizu. Toyota  thanked Kamachi for being a "good friend".

Yankizoku scored a strong victory despite having Ichiyo Tatsuko  in the lineup over the unaligned team of Naoki Daishi, Keoni  Murata, and Akahito Yamada. Ikuji Royama practically carried  his team on his back in route to hitting his Sliding Shotei on  Keoni Murata for the three count fall.

AVENIR and Yankizoku clashed in the third match. Sadly, no  Takagi hijinx, as it turns out Takagi had shown up earlier in the  day and applied himself in training...However, comedy wouldn't  be the main attraction in the match as most of the match  revolved around brutal exchanges between the former best  friends Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya, but as usual  neither man could get the upperhand on the other. The end of  the match came with Amagawa and Tomizaki alone in the  ring...To the shock and amazement of the fans, Amagawa  hooked Tomizaki and DROVE his head into the mat with the  SUPERDRIVER! Naturally, Tomizaki had nothing left to use to  kick out of after taking the legendary move...Amagawa grabbed  a microphone, and said that he had learned that move many  months ago from Jason Ramsey himself but that from today on  he was SEALING it! Amagawa then said that he would unseal it  when he could use it on Tsuruya, saying with gravity that from  now on, it would be his "ultimate limit break" that he ONLY used  to defeat Tsuruya from this day forward! Tsuruya picked up his  own microphone, and simply said that Amagawa would have to  first hit the move to "unseal it", saying that there's no way a  pretty golden boy like Amagawa would defeat him! A heated  back and forth scuffle of words erupted at this point, but Yuki  Nomura stepped in and used his power to sign the two to a NO  DISQUALIFICATION DEATH MATCH at DUE TIME! Tsuruya  was surprisingly confident, saying that he would "scar"  Amagawa's pretty face and body so he never forgets that  night...

Nobuyori Shimizu scored a decisive victory in the fourth match,  as he easily bested junior Natsuo Sakoda with the Tsuyosa  German Suplex to continue his streak of success going into  12/24.

Hayato Saigo and Toshiro Noguchi faced off in what may be  their first ever encounter against each other. The match was  described as a "wonderful" big man versus small man match,  with Noguchi using his size advantage to keep the much quicker  Saigo at bay. However, Noguchi couldn't keep Saigo at bay  forever, but Saigo caught Noguchi off guard with the Matsukasa  cradle for the flash three count!

Hiroyuki Takano got his first chance to win a CRIMSON  championship since joining the promotion. Sadly, it wasn't a  pleasant night. Takano faced off against the awesome brutality  and power of the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop who seems to be  dead set on proving himself as the strongest champion in Pro -Wrestling, as he manhandled Takano for most of the match.  Despite both men being listed as heels, the crowd began to  rally behind Takano as he faced off against Bishop's power.  Takano stunned and nearly won with the Takano Flash,  however, Bishop kicked out and within seconds crushed Takano  with the Texan Bomber for the three count fall to retain his  championship...

6. C-2 Openweight Championship: "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop (c)  defeated Hiroyuki Takano at 14'05 with the Texan Bomber [V.1]

----

Akahito Yamada and Keoni Murata, the two men who faced off  in the finals of the Junior tournament earlier this year faced off in  the opening match to kick the night off with a blast. Once again,  Yamada came out ahead of Murata, once again submitting the  former Junior ace with the Crossface of Yamada.

The "Perfect Junior Team" of Hayato Saigo and Sorai Kamachi  of STRONGEST were victorious over the unaligned openweight  team of Toshiro Noguchi and Natsuo Sakoda. Noguchi and  Sakoda put up a valiant fight, but Sorai Kamachi put Sakoda  away with the Kamachi Big Bang for the three count.

The TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS and Yankizoku faced off in the  third match, with the ROUGHRIDERS coming out on top, as  Jake Bishop scored the decisive win once again wit hthe Texan  Bomber on Ichiyo Tatsuko.

Yankizoku scored a decisive win over AVENIR in the fourth  match as Seiji Ebisawa and Mikio Tsuruya teamed up to  defeated Yuki Nomura and Kenjiro Amagawa. After a blatant  sneak wooden sword attack by BIG BOY Tomizaki behind the  referee's back, Tsuruya landed his Akuji Backdrop Driver for the  three count.

STRONGEST continue to be the strongest, as Akuma Toyota  and Nobuyori Shimizu combined strength to defeat the team  from Yankizoku of Ryoma Inoue and Ikuji Royama, as Toyota  blasted Inoue with a Lariat for the finish.

The challengers for the C-1 Tag Team Championship at DUE  TIME were decided, as the AT CLUB will get their first chance  at the championships. The PREDATORS of Hiroshi Kuroki and  Kaisen Tiger put up a spirited fight against their much larger  opposition, but the sheer individual strength of Takayuki Ariwa  and Hiroyuki Takano proved to be too much as Ariwa blasted  Kuroki with his Angelos, only to have Takano follow it up with the  Takano Driver for the three count.

As soon as the bell rang, the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS hit the  ring and began to attack the AT CLUB with abandon. The AT  CLUB fought back against Bishop and Kuriyama. However, they  made a huge mistake by knocking Bishop out of the  ring...Bishop grabbed a nearby chair and went to work after  getting back into the ring, laying out both Ariwa and Takano. It  finally took the entire Yankizoku group's arrival to cause Bishop  to finish his assault and leave, but not without screaming about  how the championships were "his"...

The final show before DUE TIME saw relatively little happen.  Ikuji Royama crushed Natsuo Sakoda in less then four minutes  with his Sliding Shotei, continuing his fearsome streak.

Shuji Kawashima put up a spirited fight against Keoni Murata,  but the veteran finally dropped Kawashima on his neck and  head with a Backdrop Hold for the three count.

Yankizoku scored the final victory before DUE TIME against  AVENIR when Mikio Tsuruya pinned Takagi with the Akuji  Backdrop Driver...After the match, Ebisawa taunted Nomura,  saying that he hoped Nomura enjoyed working in the office,  because after the 24th he'd only be able to do that from now  on...

The AT CLUB sent a message to the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS  in the main event. Before the match could begin, The AT CLUB  along with Keiji Hirano sneak attacked Jake Bishop, knocking  him out of the match early on...Rui Kuriyama and SLAYER put  up a good fight without their leader, but in the end were unable  to beat Yankizoku, as Takayuki Ariwa pinned Rui Kuriyama with  the Hammerfall.

----

The full lineup for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's final event of the  year, DUE TIME was announced in a press statement from  President Yuki Nomura himself. The event will take place at the  Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium.

The opening match sees the Yankizoku team of Ikuji Royama  and Ichiyo Tatsuko take on the AVENIR and STRONGEST  combined team of Kazuki Takagi and Shuji Kawashima.

Four unaligned wrestlers will clash in the second match, as  Naoki Daishi and Natsuo Sakoda will take on the team of  Toshiro Noguchi and Keoni Murata.

In an odd match, Yankizoku will field Keiji Hirano and BIG BOY  Tomizaki to take on one man...the invincible SLAYER!  President Nomura suggested that if SLAYER could somehow  come out victorious, he could see yet another C-1 Junior title  match in his future...

Sorai Kamachi finally gets his chance to take revenge on the  man who destroyed the MILLENNIUM STARS, Ryoma Inoue in  the fourth match. Kamachi has fought the lower wrestlers of  Yankizoku until now, and finally gets a full chance for revenge.

The Backdrop Brothers will clash for the second time, but unlike  the first time, this time the bout will be contested under No- Disqualification rules! Hijinx will surely happen, but Amagawa is  so determined to avenge his betrayal, that he signed to this  match that doesn't favor him in the least...

At the beginning of this year, it was Akahito Yamada that caused  Hayato Saigo to not make the finals of the Junior tournament. In  April of this year, it was Hayato Saigo that ended the Junior  Championship reign of Akahito Yamada. Now, in the final title  defense of the year, Akahito Yamada gets the chance to  avenge his championship loss by taking the championship from  Hayato Saigo. No matter what happens, these two could end up  having the match of the year.

The TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS aim to make their second  defense of the C-1 Tag Team Championships, but in their path  is the fantastic team from Yankizoku of the "AT CLUB". Ariwa  and Takano have both had a fantastic year, and aim to climax  the year with their first tag team championships...However, no  one is as hot as the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop who has  seemingly improved overnight to a brand new level. Can the AT  CLUB use their combined strength and speed to best the  awesome tenacity and fearlessness of Bishop & Kuriyama?

In January 2003, Seiji Ebisawa invaded Pro-Wrestling  CRIMSON leading the "Spirit International" faction. From that  day forward, he was locked in a respectful rivalry with the ace of  Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Yuki Nomura. The two would face off  countless times, with both seemingly being about even in their  skills. In January 2007, Yuki Nomura defeated Seiji Ebisawa for  the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. Now, in December 2008  the two will face off again but this time it will be the *LAST* time.  The loser of them atch, as per agreement will be "Banished".  For Yuki Nomura, it would be his first. For Seiji Ebisawa it would  be his second...but Yuki Nomura has pledged that as President  the banishment would be for life. In the end, one of them must  go. And in the end, with the loss of Goro Iijima, there will be only  one "pillar" of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON left standing...

STRONGEST was created to unify the strongest Ryo Suzuki  graduates in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON under one group. The  two men who forged the concept are the two strongest active  graduates in wrestling. C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma  Toyota and Number one Contender Nobuyori Shimizu. When  Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was founded, Ryo Suzuki joined the  promotion. Both acting as a wrestler, and as head trainer using  his own training school to train wrestlers. The first graduate into  Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was Nobuyori Shimizu. The third was  Akuma Toyota. Both men leveled at different rates. Nobuyori  Shimizu became the tag kingpin with Toshiro Noguchi, holding  the C-1 Tag Team Championships for over three years. Akuma  Toyota remained in the undercards. A betrayal of best friend  and fellow Ryo Suzuki graduate Yujiro Higuchi paved the way to  Toyota's leveling as a member of Rouzeki-GUN. Toyota would  turn to the BLACKHEARTS, becoming a student of "Supreme  Commander" Tatsumichi Akamatsu.

Now, at the end of 2008, the two who have followed completely  different paths only to find themselves together will clash  against one another for the greatest prize in Pro-Wrestling  CRIMSON.

The list of accomplishments...

Akuma Toyota:
C-1 Heavyweight Champion
Power Source 2008 Finalist
Power Source 2007 Semi Finalist
C-1 Tag Team Championship (2)

Nobuyori Shimizu
C-1 Tag Team Champion (2)
Power Source 2007 Finalist

This will be Nobuyori Shimizu's first ever challenge for the C-1  Heavyweight Championship. And the first time in history that two  Ryo Suzuki students have fought for the championship belt.
