Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ News ~ 5/27/08

The fallout from the POWER SOURCE finals has been severe and extensive after the events that took many CRIMSON fans by surprise.

Kazushi Mimura put out a statement right after Iijima's betrayal, that was half a defamation of character, and half an emotional release for CRIMSON's president. Mimura stated that Iijima had proven himself to be what "we had always thought he was", and that he may be worse then Akamatsu himself due to his ability to make everyone in CRIMSON believe that he had their backs, while Akamatsu was atleast honest about his status. Mimura revealed that Stephen Priest had been sent back on a plane to America and he expected to never see him again in CRIMSON...On Seiji Ebisawa and Tatsumichi Akamatsu's title match, Mimura revealed that it would take place in July, but that no firm date or venue had been decided upon.

A big note was revealed when Mimura announced that on the 10th, Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi would defend their C-1 Tag Team Championships against Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya! Mimura stated that Shimizu was still hurt, but that they had to defend their championships sooner or later, and the Backdrop Brothers had won the opportunity. He wished both teams luck.

The next man to give a statement was the betrayer himself, Goro Iijima the next day. Goro Iijima rhetorically asked "What did you all expect from me?" before saying that he had "no intentions of playing a supporting role" in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Iijima stated that when Mimura had sold Nomura and himself down the river to appease Tatsumichi Akamatsu as it regarded to the POWER SOURCE, that he knew what he had to do, and when Seiji Ebisawa was brought back to be the "savior" the writing had been put clearly in front of him. Akamatsu offered him third in command, money, fame, and a chance to finally rule Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Iijima took the offer. However, Iijima then stated that he was sending an invitation to YUKI NOMURA to join him in the BLACKHEARTS! Iijima stated that they had both been used by CRIMSON, and they were being favored against...Now would be the perfect chance for Nomura to return to the Nomura he was in 2002 and join a new struggle on the winning side...

There are rumblings that Yuki Nomura and Seiji Ebisawa have arranged some kind of meeting with the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON roster to discuss what has happened with Goro Iijima...Iijima's betrayal touches every single wrestler in CRIMSON, as everyone has interacted with him to some degree. There's no word yet on where this meeting will take place, as the earliest show for CRIMSON is the 10th of June.
