The first of five events in the “Power Source Prelude” began at Akita Terusa, where a disappointing 621 fans out of 1,000 gathered to watch the event, probably due to the lineup of the event being revealed on the day of the show…In the main event, DARK SUMMIT and the BLACKHEARTS clashed on the only preliminary match between now and the C-1 Heavyweight Championship match between Goro Iijima & Tatsumichi Akamatsu on the 15th. The challenger, Goro Iijima led his team with Izumo Yoritomo to victory over the BLACKHEARTS squad of Akuma Toyota and Keiji Hirano, as Iijima blasted Hirano with the Kinan High Kick for the three count fall. Goro Iijima took a microphone after the match, and once again declared his vow to rid Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON of the BLACKHEARTS by definitively beating Tatsumichi Akamatsu for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship…Just then, “Engines of AKI” began to play as the C-1 Heavyweight Champion, and leader of the BLACKHEARTS made an unscheduled appearance! Akamatsu took his own microphone, and ignored the threats that Iijima was throwing in his direction…Akamatsu’s statement was brief, as he simply told Iijima that in five days…He would make an example out of Goro Iijima for everything he’s done to hinder his progress…Akamatsu looked Iijima in the eyes before telling him that one of them wouldn’t walk away from their match when it was over…With that, Akamatsu spiked the microphone and left the ring without further incident…
Hayato Saigo and Akahito Yamada met once again in the semi main event of the night in six man competition. However, despite a spirited fight between the two sides, it would be the OVERTHROWN combination that would emerge victorious as Naoki Daishi made up for his recent lack of success by spiking Keoni Murata on his head with a Northern Lights Bomb for the three count fall…
In the third match of the night, it was the BLACKHEARTS combination of “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop and Rui Kuriyama against the team of Yuki Nomura and Shuji Kawashima in tag competition. Jake Bishop sent his opponent on the 15th a definitive message as he completely destroyed the former track star Shuji Kawashima before locking him in his “Texas Claw Hold” using his right hand with the black glove on it, forcing Shuji Kawashima to give up to the pain. Nomura attempted to check on Kawashima, but was attacked from behind by Rui Kuriyama and his “Kuri Lariat”! Bishop lifted Nomura up, and then he locked Nomura in his Texas Claw Hold, until help arrived to break up the painful hold…
