The BLACKHEARTS were represented on FURY’s 12/21 end of the year event at Osaka Castle Hall. Akuma Toyota teamed with Toru Nishi, Hikaru Suzuki & Manabe Tsuji in the “STRUGGLE OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL” match. Toyota’s team was unable to get victory as Jet Jaguar III from S-PRO was able to pin Manabe Tsuji for the win. However, the BLACKHEARTS wouldn’t fail as the “Supreme Commander” himself took on FURY’s largest wrestler, Go Taniguchi. Go tried his best, but Akamatsu’s immense power was too much for Taniguchi to survive, allowing Akamatsu to get the brutal referee stoppage victory.
The BATTLE FUSION awards were announced, and surprisingly, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON won several of the awards. Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON won Promotion of the Year, the “Demon Breed” of Tenshin Komatsu & Makoto Saito won Tag Team of the Year, and C-1 Heavyweight Champion Yuki Nomura won the Performance Award!
All of the competitor’s of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s C-1 J-League gathered for press event just days before the tournament began…Also in attendance was C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Naoki Daishi, and his challenger on the tour Ryoma Inoue. Most of the comments were vague and of the general note…but fireworks were set off when Millennium S.K. pointed at Hayato Saigo and told him to make the finals of the tournament so they could settle their grudge! This didn’t set well with anyone in the tournament, and S.K. only poured more salt in the wound when he declared that by winning the league and beating Saigo in the finals, he would cement his place as the strongest junior in CRIMSON…The usually calm Naoki Daishi suddenly became very angry and went off on a tirade. Daishi said that he was tired of being forgotten and said that it didn’t matter who won the tournament, as HE was the strongest Junior in CRIMSON, not S.K., not Murata, and not Saigo! Daishi wished everyone in the tournament luck, but that it wouldn’t matter because he would defeat anyone who won and keep his championship! Most of the competitors took offense at this comment, but Akahito Yamada and Sojiro Sayuki came to their OVERTHROW partner’s aid! Yamada agreed with Daishi…but then vowed to win the league and beat Daishi never the less! The press meeting was called off before any other outbursts could take place with the heated wrestlers…
Two more matches were added to the 1/15 C-1 J-League finals show…Yuki Nomura gets his chance to take a preliminary strike at Tatsumichi Akamatsu before their 2/04 C-1 Heavyweight Championship clash as he teams with Toshiro Noguchi to challenge for the BLACKEARTS’ C-1 Tag Team Championships! The other match added is another grudge match as Keiji Hirano and the “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop take on two people who know Hirano well, his former partner Izumo Yoritomo, and his generation rival Kenjiro Amagawa in a tag match!
