Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON - Results Catchup - 11/07 to 11/15

OVERTHROW clashed in the main event of the first event in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s latest tour. Akahito Yamada made his first challenge against tag team partner Naoki Daishi for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship. Yamada and Daishi had a back and forth match, but Daishi was able to use his grappling skills to pull ahead later in the match. However, Yamada refused to stay down showing how far he’s evolved since joining CRIMSON. Eventually, after two Northern Lights Bombs, Yamada was finally weakened enough to allow Daishi to apply a Jujigatame giving Daishi his V.2 defense of the championship! After the match, Daishi praised Yamada for his strength in the challenge, and the two pledged to continue the OVERTHROW team!

Akuma Toyota wrestled his first singles match since his conversion to Tatsumichi Akamatsu’s cause…Toyota sported a brand new shaved head and Mohawk for this encounter, and came out to a brand new theme song. His opponent was Takayuki Ariwa, who showed no fear against Toyota, and started the match off strong as he caught Toyota arguing with the referee over a minor issue with a rolling lariat! However, Ariwa’s offense burst didn’t last long as Toyota took firm control of the match, before hitting a brand new move on Ariwa that could only be called an inverted Doctor Bomb, crushing Ariwa for the win! Toyota made a microphone appeal post match, calling his new move the “Akuma Ichimonji” or “Demon Straightline”. Toyota also announced that by the end of the tour the third member of BLACKHEARTS would be revealed having been personally scouted by him!

The first heat up for HEROICS challenge of the PWC Junior-Heavyweight Tag championships took place as HANZO, MUSASHI Tomizaki, and Royama the Brave took on Millennium S.K., SLAYER, and Ryoma Inoue in a fast paced encounter. The HEROICS team played the underdog the entire match, but made a comeback late in the contest. However, SLAYER was able to isolate Royama…Royama landed a vicious running palm strike…that had absolutely no effect on the monster! SLAYER punched Royama dead in the face, grabbed him head and then nearly decapitated Royama with the Zanzai Lariat!

The only other highlight of the show was the opening match. Daisuke Yamazaki and Rui Kuriyama had yet another rookies match, but Kuriyama seemed to not be like himself in the match, at times appearing conflicted, or apprehensive. These momentary weaknesses allowed Yamazaki to put Kuriyama in a crab hold for the submission victory.

Keiji Hirano got the biggest win of his stay in CRIMSON in the main event in tonight’s show from the Kamadashi Memorial Hall. Hirano teamed with N.G.I. to defeat Rouzeki-GUN as Hirano landed his picture perfect moonsault press on Yamazaki for the victory! After the match, Shimizu gave an open invitation to Hirano to join N.G.I. as the fourth member! Hirano looked shocked, but couldn’t say one way or the other just yet and that he had to think about it…

For two shows in a row, Rui Kuriyama has not looked himself, this time looking completely off in a tag match with Yuki Nomura against Izumo Yoritomo and Mikio Tsuruya in an oddly matched up team. Nomura seemed to grow increasing angry at Kuriyama’s lack of concentration, which led to Yoritomo eventually squashing Kuriyama with a sitdown splash off an Izumo Thunder…Nomura attempted to question Kuriyama, but the young Fujita disciple simply walked off without a word.

Akuma Toyota’s rampage continued in the third match of the night, as he completely annihilated Kenjiro Amagawa. In May, the two had a competitive match during the Power Source tournament, but that wasn’t to be on this night…Amagawa attempted to fight back against Toyota, but Toyota busted Amagawa’s nose wide open with a punch directly to the face early. For the rest of the match, Amagawa looked off due to the pain, which led to Toyota BLASTING him with a Lariat for the win. After the match, Toyota called Amagawa “pathetic” and said that he was just regressing as a wrestler leaving Amagawa confused and disheartened.

In the second to last heat up for their PWC Junior Tag titles shot, HEROICS of HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki were completely beaten. Teaming with Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata to take on MILLENNIUM STARS plus the incredibly dangerous gaijin Jake Bishop…It was Bishop who sealed the match for his team, as he near tore Tomizaki’s head off with a Texan Bomber for the win!

Fresh off losing to Naoki Daishi for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, OVERTHROW were teaming again in the first match to take on Natsuo Sakoda and the completely inept DRAGON Takagi and Royama the Brave from HEROICS. It was more of the same for the HEROICS duo, as Takagi was caught and dumped on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex Hold by Yamada for the win.

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON had a rare inter-weight class, and inter-group tag match in the main event of the show at the Matsushima Townsman Gymnasium as Yuki Nomura and Nobuyori Shimizu teamed up with HEROICS HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki to take on the combined team of Rouzeki-GUN’s Goro Iijima, and Tenshin Komatsu along with MILLENNIUM STARS’ Millennium S.K., and Ryoma Inoue. The match was heavily heated as the combined heel force kept Tomizaki isolated for well over ten minutes, brutally beating the young rookie…However, instead of seeking to get help to win the match, amazingly, it was Tomizaki himself who won the match! Ryoma Inoue attempted to hit Tomizaki with his L*D Suplex Hold, but Tomizaki suddenly fought out of it, before cradling Inoue with a lightning fast Samson Clutch for the flash three count! Inoue and S.K. threw a fit after the match, as they were once again outsmarted by the former MILLENNIUM STARS member!

N.G.I. and Rouzeki-GUN clashed in the semi final, as Toshiro Noguchi took on Makoto Saito to continue their group rivalry. It was a back and forth match, as Noguchi refused to stay down from Saito’s powerful attacks. Eventually, Saito began to get tired from his relentless attack, which allowed Toshiro Noguch to catch him by surprise with a Tokkan! Saito attempted to recover, but Noguchi dove at Saito with a sliding variation of the Tokkan, knocking Saito out and giving Noguchi the win!

Former high school rivals and friends, Kenjiro Amagawa, fresh off his thrashing by Akuma Toyota teamed with Mikio Tsuruya & Takayuki Ariwa for one of the first times as a trio. They took on the team of Izumo Yoritomo, Keiji Hirano, and Royama the Brave. It was a back and forth match with both teams trying their hardest, but the combined power of the “Backdrop Trio” was too much, as Ariwa landed his powerful Hammerfall on Royama for the win!

Continuing the theme from the main event, MILLENNIUM STARS and Rouzeki-GUN teamed in the fourth match as SLAYER and Daisuke Yamazaki took on Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata. Despite the high advantage for the heels, the “Super team” of Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata once again showed their skills off, as Saigo landed a picture perfect Moonsault Attack to a standing Yamazaki for the three count!

Akuma Toyota wrestled yet another singles match in the third match as he took on the continually struggling DRAGON Takagi. Takagi attempted to match power against Toyota, which proved to be an amazing failure, as Toyota completely crushed Takagi, hitting him with a Lariat…then pulling him back up for ANOTHER lariat, covering him for the win in less then four minutes!

The Rui Kuriyama issue continued in the second match, as he teamed with Natsuo Sakoda to take on OVERTHROW of Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada…Kuriyama once again looked like his heart wasn’t in the match, which led to Yamada strapping Kuriyama in the Crossface of Yamada for the submission victory.

Sojiro Sayuki was up to the challenge in the opening match, but the former Kendo star was no match skill wise for his overpowering opponent in “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop, who ran through Sayuki in only a few minutes with a doctor bomb for the win.

The ongoing issue between MILLENNIUM STARS and HEROICS continued in the main event as HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki took on Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue for the PWC Jr Tag championships. The match was largely one sided, as MILLENNIUM STARS kept Tomizaki isolated for large portions of time, as he desperately attempted to tag in his more experienced partner. At one point, Tomizaki nearly got the win with the Samson Clutch, but S.K. showed that he has learned and kicked out at the last possible moment. Tomizaki was finally able to tag in HANZO, who ran wild for quite some time, before smashing Inoue with the Metsubushi for a near fall! Everything broke apart, which left MUSASHI Tomizaki and Ryoma Inoue alone in the ring…Tomizaki attempted to finish the match off with his WILD RIDE splash, but Inoue got his knees up, sending Tomizaki crashing and burning on them…Inoue followed it up immediately with the Gutshot, followed by the TOMIKO Special II…but Tomizaki kicked out! However, Tomizaki’s heart couldn’t save him as Inoue slammed him down with the L*D Suplex Hold for the three count to retain the PWC Jr Tag titles.

A special tag match was set up for the 18th following the 5th match. Yuki Nomura, Nobuyori Shimizu & Takayuki Ariwa took on, and defeated the Rouzeki-GUN team of Goro Iijima, Tenshin Komatsu & Daisuke Yamazaki as Nomura was able to exploit Yamazaki’s youth in route to hitting the Twisted Angel Driver for the win…After the match, Akuma Toyota came out…Toyota proceeded to CHALLENGE anyone in the ring for a tag team match on the 18th! Before Rouzeki-GUN had a chance to respond, Yuki Nomura and Nobuyori Shimizu both stepped forward and accepted the challenge! Toyota warned Nomura and Shimizu that he had found a third member for BLACKHEARTS and it may not be who they would suspect…Being left out of the tag match seemed to completely enrage Rouzeki-GUN as they jumped Nomura and Shimizu from behind, and then Makoto Saito attacked Toyota from behind, leading to an impromptu singles match between Akuma Toyota and Makoto Saito! Makoto Saito took the fight right to his former partner, attempting to hurt Toyota as badly as he possibly could with aimed kicked straight for the head, and Toyota’s joints. However, Toyota showed how far he has come as he refused to go down to Saito’s attacks. Eventually Toyota caught a kick by Saito, and then tore his head off with a lariat! Toyota followed it up with his new move the Akuma Ichimonji on Saito for the win!

A familiar match from recent memory was revived in the fourth match, as Hayato Saigo, Keoni Murata & Natsuo Sakoda took on OVERTHROW in a six man tag. All six men fought as hard as possible, but the inexperience of Sojiro Sayuki gave Natsuo Sakoda just the opening he needed, as he dropped Sayuki vertically on the back of his head with a Tiger Suplex Hold for the win!

Kenjiro Amagawa’s recent bad luck continued in the third match as he teamed with Backdrop Brother Mikio Tsuruya to take on the team of Izumo Yoritomo and Keiji Hirano. These two teams have fought many times, but Amagawa, who is still wearing a big bandage over his busted nose was completely beaten this time, as Izumo Yoritomo squashed him with an Izumo Thunder for the win.

SLAYER and “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop united in the second match to take on the HEROICS duo of DRAGON Takagi and Royama the Brave. The big combination barely broke a sweat in route to winning, as Bishop continued his rampage that’s lasted for well over five months now, as he landed the Texan Bomber on Takagi for the win.

Rui Kuriyama seems to be getting worse as the tour progresses, as this time he took on Toshiro Noguchi in the opening match. It was a complete defeat for Kuriyama, as Noguchi appeared to be taking him lightly, and even then the Fujita disciple could do nothing. Finally, Noguchi ended the match with a Thunder Hammer for the win.
