Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 6/21/07 ~ Power Summit Series

The Power Source Tournament winner, Tenshin Komatsu got the biggest opportunity of his career at the Maesawa Townsman Sports Center, as he took on Yuki Nomura for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship! Komatsu entered first to his “Iron Blue Intention” theme alone, with no one from Rouzeki-GUN accompanying him to the ring. Nomura followed with his theme “Glory”, and likewise had no one with him. Formal introductions never took place as Komatsu immediately rushed across the ring and SLAMED into Nomura with a Komatsu Knee Kick! Nomura doubled over in pain, and Komatsu began to fire a barrage of knees to Nomura’s head until Nomura collapsed to the mat! Komatsu dragged him out of the corner, and covered but Nomura kicked out at 2.9! Komatsu continued to barrage the C-1 Champion with strikes, but Nomura showed the courage of a champion and ace and refused to give in to Komatsu’s relentless attack! Nomura finally began to stage a comeback, but an enuzigiri from Komatsu ended that before it began, and netted Komatsu a near fall again! The fans began to chant for Nomura, but the champion had no answer for the continuous attack of his younger opponent. Sensing the opportunity he had so longed for, Komatsu attempted another Komatsu Knee Kick when Nomura had stood up, but Nomura used the same tactic he used in the 2005 Power Source Finals, dodged out of the way and cradled Komatsu! Komatsu this time was able to kick out at 2.9 escaping the fate that had once destroyed him! Nomura’s comeback was short lived, as Komatsu stopped it dead with a running palm thrust to the face! Komatsu looked for the Iron Cross submission, but Nomura was able to scurry to the ropes to escape Komatsu’s near inescapable hold! Komatsu knocked Nomura to the floor with a kick to the face, and then surprisingly dived onto Nomura with a plancha! Komatsu pulled Nomura to his feet and readied him for a whip into the ring post, but Nomura stopped it at the last second and sent Komatsu flying face first into the buckle! Komatsu began to immediately bleed from the post, and Nomura took voer control of the match including punching him directly into the cut! With the tide completely shifted to Nomura, Komatsu found himself on the defensive as Nomura began to work over his legs in hope of taking away the power strikes of Komatsu. After some time of working Komatsu’s leg, Nomura suddenly landed a big elbow blow and then set Komatsu up for the Shukuen! However, Komatsu was able to spin out of the hold and then on one leg, leapt up into the air and CLOCKED Nomura in the face with a leaping knee! Komatsu covered Nomura, but Nomura was able to kick out at 2.7! Komatsu attempted to walk on his leg, but it buckled and prevented him for moving in for the kill on Nomura. Instead, Komatsu waited for Nomura to pull himself back up, and then unleashed a barrage of slaps to the face that caused Nomura to sway from the impact, before Komatsu grabbed him and hit a double arm suplex into a sitting double arm submission hold! Nomura attempted to escape, but Komatsu suddenly released the hold to land some vicious elbows to Nomura’s head, before grabbing Nomura’s legs, hooking them into a Prison Deathlock, then grabbed Nomura’s arms APPLYING THE IRON CROSS! Nomura began to scream in pain as Komatsu yanked violently up on Nomura’s arms! Nomura began to rock back and forth in the hold, before somehow managing to roll Komatsu over him and into a pinning position! The crowd gasped as the count began, but Komatsu released the Iron Cross at 2.8 to escape the cradle! Komatsu immediately reached his feet and charged at Nomura with the Sliding Knee Kick, but Nomura laid down to the ground to avoid it, then got to his feet and caught Komatsu as he turned around! Nomura lifted Komatsu up into the air and then DROVE Him into the mat with the Shukuen! The fans roared as Nomura covered, but Komatsu kicked out at the last possible moment! Both men got back to their feet, but Komatsu was clearly hurt as he struggled to reach his feet and staggered back and forth as he struggled. Nomura saw this and kicked Komatsu DIRECTLY into the face in retaliation for the assault Komatsu had used! Nomura then grabbed Komatsu, lifted him, and drove him FACE FIRST with the Twisted Angel Driver, hooking both legs for the all important three count! The fans in the Maesawa Townsman Sports Center began to chant Nomura’s name in unison and clap along with “Glory” as Nomura slowly pulled himself to his feet and was awarded back his C-1 Heavyweight Championship after nearly eighteen minutes of pure hell against Tenshin Komatsu! However, Nomura’s celebration was broken up as “Disorder King” Goro Iijima suddenly appeared! Iijima began to berate Nomura, before challenging him to a title match! Nomura rightfully pointed out that he had already beaten Iijima. Iijima then gave Nomura stipulations…If Iijima beats Nomura, he becomes the C-1 Heavyweight Champion, BUT if Nomura beats Iijima, then he will be exiled from CRIMSON much like he did to Ebisawa back in February! Nomura pondered, but then AGREED to the match, making it a C-1 Heavyweight Championship vs. CRIMSON Departure Match!

The war between Higuchi and Toyota continued in the semi final, as Higuchi was once again able to overcome Toyota, albeit in indirect form as he spiked Takagi on his head for the win. Once again post match, Higuchi and Toyota had a wild and out of control brawl that had to be broken up by officials.

Makoto Saito made it a clean sweep of the Backdrop Brothers in singles matches this tour, as he was able to drop Kenjiro Amagawa in a singles match with the Silencer.

After Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata defeated Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada, SLAYER suddenly ran into the ring and blindsided Murata from behind with the Zanzai Lariat. SLAYER began to attack Saigo as well, when suddenly “Hoshi no Suna” began to play, and SHIN KAIJU came to the ring! Kaiju and SLAYER had a staredown before Millennium S.K. rushed to the ring and pulled SLAYER away. Kaiju took the microphone and stated that he wants Saigo to be at 100%, and until their match on the 1st, he would be following Saigo to make sure nothing happens to him!
