- Hayato Saigo won the first preliminary battle against Naoki Daishi. The match came down to their partners, and Natsuo Sakoda showed a strong growth by spiking Yamada on the back of his head with a Tiger Suplex for the victory. Daishi took the microphone, and showed a rare sense of charisma as the shooter told Saigo to enjoy the victory while it lasted, because on the 27th, he would completely destroy Saigo!

- Rouzeki-GUN were completely defeated in the fourth match, as the team of Yuki Nomura, Yujiro Higuchi, Izumo Yoritomo & Keiji Hirano bested the four members of Rouzeki-GUN. Toyota and Higuchi took themselves out of the equation almost immediately as they brawled around the ring and then behind the curtains…Keiji Hirano was the one to score the pinfall, as he landed his Moonsault Press for the pinfall over Makoto Saito!

- Kazuki Takagi revealed his new persona for HEROICS with dramatic flare, as a Dragon’s Roar erupted from the sound system…Takagi burst from the back wearing a dragon headdress…with Royama the Brave firmly attached to his back. Takagi then burst into a run with Royama riding firmly on his back with what appeared to be a saddle. By the time they reached the ring, Takagi was huffing and puffing like he had just ran a marathon…In the ring, it was announced that Takagi’s new name was DRAGON Takagi, and he was the loyal dragon steed of the gallant knight, Royama the Brave! The match proceeded as you would expect with confused fighting and scrambling. However, it was Takagi under his new persona that would get the victory as he and Royama debuted their new team finisher called the “Lance-A-Lot Lariat”. Royama leapt onto Takagi’s back again, then wildly gestured…Takagi roared…or attempted to, then burst into a run across the ring where Royama Lariat’d Aihara! Takagi covered and got the three count over Aihara, who had been beating him successfully for months!
