Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ Power Source Tournament Day 1 ~ 05/05/07

Day one of the Power Source tournament saw the revelation of Rouzeki-GUN's hired assassin to take out Yuki Nomura. The former Sumo and Pro-Wrestling star Izumo Yoritomo! The ill-tempered massive fighter made his impact felt immediately in the main event by utterly destroying not only just Yuki Nomura, but his partner, the equally massive Yujiro Higuchi! Makoto Saito had little involvement in the match, as Yoritomo destroyed both their opponents before crushing Higuchi with an Izumo Thunder for the win! The newest member of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and the next challenger for Yuki Nomura sent a strong message with his dominate victory!

The Power Source tournament began with Goro Iijima defeating Eiichi Aihara. It wasn't an easy victory for Iijima, as Aihara put up a strong fight against Iijima using his technique to keep Iijima grounded for long stretches of time, but the brutality and power of Iijima's vicious attacks proved to be the deciding factor, giving Iijima two points off the Kinan High Kick! The newly named "Aku" Toyota mauled Kenjiro Amagawa in the second tournament match. Amagawa attempted to use his amateur abilities to combat Toyota, but the sheer ferocity and violence of Toyota's attack including a chair assault allowed Toyota to get the victory with a Lariat for the two points.

Keiji Hirano faced a major challenge in the third tournament match, as he took on one half of the C-1 Tag Champions, Tenshin Komatsu! The power level difference between the two was severe as Komatsu immediately abused Hirano. All Hirano could seemingly do was attempt to hold on for dear life, but Komatsu's assault eventually took the fight completely out of Hirano allowing Komatsu to get the victory with a Komatsu Knee Kick. The final tournament match of the night saw Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi clash in one of their rare singles matches. Called the match of the night, neither man could get the upper hand on the other, with both men avoiding the other's major moves leading to a thirty minute draw! Both men shook hands after the match with no hard feelings from either.

The second match of the night saw Naoki Daishi keep himself at the top of the junior ranks with an indirect win over the C-1 Junior Heavyweight Champion, Hayato Saigo when he pinned Akahito Yamada with a Northern Lights Bomb! It also sent a message to Saigo from Murata, who challenges for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship later this month! Millennium S.K. and SLAYER completely overwhelmed their young opponents of Sojiro Sayuki and Ryoma Inoue with SK easily dispatching Sayuki with the Millennium Driver for the win.
