With the announcement of the closure of Pro-Wrestling ZION, a shockwave has been sent through the wrestling world. Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON wasted little time by holding a press conference in Tokyo hosted by President Mimura announcing due to the closure of the promotion, that CRIMSON would be taking back the System Crash Junior-Heavyweight championship! In late 2006, the title had been merged with the PWC Junior-Heavyweight Championship to form a "triple crown" of sorts. Mimura announced that the title would be renamed to the "C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship" and a TOURNAMENT will be held to crown a new champion! That announcement led to Mimura announcing that for the first time ever, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will hold a show at the Tokyo Korakuen Hall! Mimura added that two shows would be held, one on the 24th and the other on the 25th at the holy wrestling venue, and anyone who bought a ticket to either night would automatically get to see the other show for free!
The eight wrestlers vying for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship are: Keoni Murata, Naoki Daishi, Millennium S.K., Hanzo Hijiyama, SLAYER, Hayato Saigo, Ryoma Inoue & Akira Tomizaki!
At the same press conference, Goro Iijima suddenly stormed into the conference, demanding a title shot against Yuki Nomura! The Rouzeki-Gun member pointed out how he had been on a winning streak since CRIMSON returned, and there was no greater challenger! President Mimura considered...then GRANTED the title shot to Iijima for the second night of the double header on 04/25! Iijima then promised to crush Nomura to end their long running feud!
