Profile:
Keoni Murata has been one of the signboard players of the Junior-Division since the inception of the promotion. Half Japanese, Murata was nevertheless raised his entire life in Japan and became one of the best junior-heavyweights in Japan. Murata was the initial "ace" of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, becoming the first C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion. His reign was short, but Murata has since continually shown himself to be one of the strongest Juniors in CRIMSON. Murata has become a "mentor" for younger wrestlers due to his experience, including Sorai Kamachi (or Millennium S.K.), Hayato Saigo, Ryoma Inoue, and Akira Tomizaki. After years of dormancy, Murata has begun to regain his championship form in 2007, forming a super team with his breakout pupil, Hayato Saigo to win the 2007 FUSION J-League and the PWC Junior-Heavyweight Tag Championships. Their reign was short, however, as less then two months later Murata and Saigo dropped the titles to Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue. After years of toiling without success, Murata snapped under the pressure. Murata betrayed his pupils Millennium S.K. and Hayato Saigo when he stole the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship from Saigo and returned to his roots as a "surfer" based heel as a member of Yankizoku and now KYOURUI 6.
