Profile:
Goro Iijima has a long and storied history in the mythos of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Goro Iijima was a founding member of the promotion, and an original member of the heel stable HANGUN. Goro Iijima at that time wore face paint, and played the part of idiot, but the joke was on HANGUN. In January 2003, GORO staged a coo when Seiji Ebisawa, Katsumi Gakusha and Naoki Daishi stormed the ring and assaulted HANGUN members. GORO gave a passionate speech, renouncing his GORO identity, and revealing himself to be Goro Iijima, and that the wrestlers who stormed the ring were his friends from a failed promotion! With that, the three way war between HANGUN, BETA's Defenses and the now named Spirit International began that lasted for several years. Spirit International dissolved when Ebisawa and Gakusha turned on Iijima, causing him to align with the likes of Yuki Nomura. However, it was short lived as during a match with Yuki Nomura, Goro Iijima snapped and violently assaulted Nomura. From there, a blood feud erupted between the two that carries over today, with Iijima jealous of all the success and popularity of Nomura. Having formed his own group to seek revenge, the war between Iijima and Yuki Nomura has reached a new peak. Iijima was given the name "Disorder King" by the fans of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON due to his ability to destroy plans, and disrupt the natural balance of the promotion...Finally on 7/27/07, Iijima was able to best Yuki Nomura with his CRIMSON career on the line to finally catch the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. His reign would last five months before he lost the title back to Yuki Nomura. After months of leading the charge against Tatsumichi Akamatsu and his BLACKHEARTS, Iijima was brutally defeated by Akamatsu...this led to Iijima betraying Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and showing his real colors by aligning with Akamatsu. Iijima scored the C-1 Tag Team Championships with Akuma Toyota, creating quite possibly the strongest champion team in CRIMSON history.
