Profile:
Yamada began his career in late 2002 as a graduate of Kazuma Fujita's dojo. Like most of Fujita's students, Yamada entered Pro-Wrestling FURY. Yamada experienced mixed results early on, as most rookies do with their experience. Yamada's biggest moment took place in early 2003, as he moved to the semi finals of a 16-man tournament to determine the first FURY Jr. Heavyweight champion due to an injury "CRIMSON" Jin Hiroto suffered. Of course, when facing strong competition in KANJI Sakaigama, he was beaten. Yamada then left for a American excursion, but ended up returning months later due to a severe shoulder injury. The injury would keep him out for the rest of 2003, and some of 2004. Yamada returned to wrestling on 8/06/2004 for the revival of Real Japan. Yamada aimed to be a big star for the company, but the group folded fairly quickly. Akahito Yamada entered Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and within a month or two joined up with Naoki Daishi. The two found a common friendship together, and formed the "unofficial" group of OVERTHROW along with young wrestler Sojiro Sayuki. The tieup with Daishi has proven to be a good career move for Yamada, as he has significantly grown in stature in CRIMSON since then. Akahito Yamada's growth continued as he made the finals of the C-1 J-League, beating Keoni Murata to win the league. Yamada's momentum continued, as he reached the very apex of his career when he defeated friend Naoki Daishi to become the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion. Yamada's reign didn't last long, as he lost the championship two months later to Hayato Saigo. Naoki Daishi abandoned Yamada in early 2010 to join HEAVY WAR resulting in Akahito Yamada's first change since joining CRIMSON. Yamada has aligned with KYOURUI 6 and reinvented himself as a ruthless heel who only looks out for himself. Yamada's "mad man" change paid off as he and Mikio Tsuruya captured the C-1 Tag Team Championships in June 2010. Yamada became only the second Junior to ever hold the tag team championship.
