- The team of Ariwa, Saigo, and Royama completely fell apart in the second match against AVENIR. Royama abandoned his team after a miscommunication, and another miscommunication between Saigo and Ariwa resulted in Ariwa being knocked out of the match. All three AVENIR members finished Saigo off from there...

- After submitting Mikio Tsuruya, Naoki Daishi once again challenged for the C-1 Tag Team Championships held by Tsuruya and Yamada. The challenge was formally accepted, signing Daishi & Kuriyama versus Tsuruya & Yamada at BATTLE ZONE.

- The legendary teams of CRIMSON battled in the main event for the first time in several years. Nobuyori Shimizu & Toshiro Noguchi bested Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito heading towards BATTLE ZONE. Noguchi redeemed himself for several months of lack luster performances, blasting Saito with the Thunder Hammer. Shimizu and Komatsu had their first confrontation, as both promised to win at BATTLE ZONE. Shimizu claimed his "dream" would never stop, while Komatsu maintained that from day one it was always his "destiny" to be C-1 Heavyweight Champion, and Shimizu could do nothing to stop him...

- Ikuji Royama once again appeared reluctant to effectively work as a teammate with a partner, this time with Shuji Kawashima in match two. Royama virtually left Kawashima to be pinned by Murata's BLUE HAWAII...

- After two back to back victories by AVENIR including a huge victory by TakaGawa over Shimizu and Noguchi, Yuki Nomura invited his four protege's to join him in the ring. Nomura then announced that Amagawa, Takahashi, Kuroki & Tiger had "transcended" the boundaries of AVENIR. Amagawa attempted to argue the point, claiming that they were a strong unit together. However Nomura reminded his young leader that AVENIR had been a route to "polish" the four. Nomura praised their growth, and announced that at BATTLE ZONE '10, that the four members would GRADUATE from AVENIR!

- After HEAVY WAR's victory over KYOURUI 6, Hiroyuki Takano issued a grand-stand challenge to Akuma Toyota. Takano called Toyota the "ultimate" in CRIMSON, adding that by defeating Toyota he would finally make his mark on CRIMSON with his own image. Toyota accepted Takano's challenge, but demanded that Takano put up the C-2 Openweight Championship. In response, Takano demanded that Toyota put up the IFS Openweight Championship! Takano's long-standing grudge with Toyota for carrying the defunct championship as a "trophy" exploded, as Takano originally aimed to "retrieve" the IFS Championship years ago. Toyota appeared amused that Takano would still seek a "triffle" such as the IFS Openweight Championship, but agreed, making the match for BATTLE ZONE a DOUBLE Championship match!

- Hayato Saigo attempted to prove himself as a heavyweight wrestler against Takayuki Ariwa, but ended up being beaten by Ariwa's Angelos, this time to the back of the head. Once Saigo recovered, Ikuji Royama invaded the ring and demanded his rematch for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship that Saigo had denied. Royama was cut off as former Nansei Nihon Junior kingpin KENTA ARAKIKI invaded the ring! The former All Pacific Junior-Heavyweight Champion issued a challenge for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship. Much to Royama's chagrin, Saigo accepted Arakiki's challenge for BATTLE ZONE. Royama issued a veiled threat due to being tired of waiting for his rematch before storming off...
