Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to action at the legendary Korakuen Hall for CRIMSON CASCADE, the first event in the new path towards BATTLE ZONE in July. In the opening match, KYOURUI 6 member and one half of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champions Keoni Murata scored a comfortable victory over a game Shuji Kawashima, spiking the youth warrior with a Backdrop Hold.
Murata's partner and the other half of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champions fought next, as PHOENIX and Ryoma Inoue of KYOURUI 6 fell to PREDATORS from AVENIR. PREDATORS revenged their failure to recapture the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships, as Kuroki finished off Ryoma Inoue with the PRISM. PREDATORS revealed their intention to challenge for the PWC titles once again, but PHEONIX shut that down, reminding the pair that they had failed twice in a row...
The STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY collided in the third match as former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Ikuji Royama teamed with Takayuki Ariwa to best Toshiro Noguchi and C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo. Saigo and Ariwa went back and forth to close the battle, before Ariwa decapitated Saigo with the Angelos. After the match, Saigo challenged Ariwa to face him in a singles match after being decisively beaten. Ariwa appeared surprised at Saigo's challenge, but accepted...However, Saigo's challenge to Ariwa sparked outrage from Ikuji Royama who demanded for an immediate rematch against Saigo. However, Saigo refused, claiming that after his match with Ariwa he would accept Royama's challenge...
HEAVY WAR emerged victorious over Bloody Gears as Rui Kuriyama blasted Kazuya Endo with a Jumping High Kick. Kuriyama launched into a tirade on Endo post-match. Kuriyama claimed that despite being trained by Kazuma Fujita and having also gone through the Ryo Suzuki system, that Kuriyama had "earned" his spot in CRIMSON through the years. Kuriyama accused Endo of coasting through based on his former "life" instead of his "wrestling life". Endo attempted to retort, but a vicious slap from Kuriyama dropped Endo. Kuriyama pledged to fully introduce Endo to the "realities" of being a professional wrestler...
For the first time since December at DUE TIME, Hiroyuki Takano defended his C-2 Openweight Championship, this time against the POWER SOURCE winner Tenshin Komatsu. Unlike many KYOURUI 6 matches, Takano played the match straight, perhaps feeling a need to redeem himself after losing to Komatsu in the POWER SOURCE tournament. However, after a thrilling back and forth battle, that didn't stop Ryoma Inoue from interjecting himself with a timely trip from the outside giving Takano enough time to blindside Komatsu with a Takano Flash to the back of Komatsu's head. With Komatsu stunned, Takano engaged “Devil Takano” mode, as he landed Takano Flashes and Takano Axe Kicks to weaken Komatsu, before dropping him vertically on his head with the Kubikari Driller to retain the C-2 Openweight Championship!
Takano crowed over the house microphone, pointing at the beaten Komatsu and reminding everyone that Komatsu wasn't the “rightful” POWER SOURCE champion, and that it should be him (Takano) who main events BATTLE ZONE. However, Takano “invited” Komatsu to win the C-1 Heavyweight Championship, as it would be his “honor” to take the title from Komatsu immediately...
If KYOURUI 6 played the previous match fair, it was only because they were saving up the full use of their powers for the main event. Right from the opening bell, KYOURUI 6 swarmed the ringside with every member in the group using every tactic at their disposal to help Tsuruya and Yamada claim the C-1 Tag Team Championships from TakaGawa. AVENIR responded in kind, resulting in a riotous situation at ringside. In the ring, Tsuruya and Yamada continually abused every rule in the book. And in the end, their tactics paid off. Yamada, while Hanzo Hijiyama's attention was attained by KYOURUI 6 at ringside, proceeded to knock Takahashi out of the match by using his rope to STRANGLE Takahashi into unconsciousness. Amagawa continued on in two on one situation...or more of a 6 on 1 situation, as KYOURUI 6 broke free of AVENIR allowing Keoni Murata to WHACK Amagawa with his surf board! Amagawa's defenses collapsed. Akahito Yamada spiked Amagawa with a release Straight Jacket Suplex into Amagawa's former best friend's Murder Carnival! With Yamada cackling while standing over Takahashi, Tsuruya covered with one knee over Amagawa's chest awarding KYOURUI 6 with the C-1 Tag Team Championships!
KYOURUI 6 booted TakaGawa out of the ring to AVENIR's waiting arms as the Tokyo audience jeered heavily. KYOURUI 6 posed with their championships: Keoni Murata & PHOENIX to one side as PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champions, Mikio Tsuruya and Akahito Yamada on the other with the C-1 Tag Team Championships, and Hiroyuki Takano in the middle with the C-2 Openweight Championship. Ryoma Inoue was forced to sit on the mat...
