The FUSION J-LEAGUE continued with a stop at the Sano City Hotel Sun Route in Tochigi. The feud between LOVE and the unaligned tandem of Makoto Saito and SLAYER continued as "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop opened up against SLAYER. Little was shown in the way of subtlety during the match, with both men firing hard hitting shots. The Texas Outlaw would be the one to overcome SLAYER, as Bishop blasted SLAYER with the Texan Bomber for the three count. In the second match, Yankizoku were victorious over the AVENIR team, as C-1 Tag Team Champions Takayuki Ariwa & Hiroyuki Takano teamed with "T-1 Heavyweight Champion" Mikio Tsuruya to best the challengers for their respective championships; Kenjiro Amagawa, Shinsuke Takahashi & Kazuki Takagi. Ariwa scored the win after a back and forth battle, blasting Takahashi with the Angelos for the fall. In the final non-tournament match, Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi continued their strong streak of success against LOVE's Tenshin Komatsu and PHOENIX. Despite a valiant fight by Komatsu and PHOENIX, the overwhelming team power of "NGI" proved to be too much, with Shimizu blasting PHOENIX with a running elbow for the finish.
The FUSION J-LEAGUE 2009 matches kicked off with the OKINAWA SPEED STARS of Hayato Saigo and Fumihiko Shirai from Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON facing off against Zetsubouzoku of BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ichiyo Tatsuko. The result was never in doubt, but the Yankizoku team performed surprisingly well keeping up with the SPEED STARS. However, while Shirai kept Tomizaki at bay, Saigo dropped Tatsuko with a Brainbuster for the deciding fall.
The second and final FUSION J-LEAGUE match pitted PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Hiroshi Kuroki & Kaisen Tiger, PREDATORS against the team of "RIOT WORLD", Keoni Murata & Ryoma Inoue. Inoue and Murata used every dirty tactic they could think of, trying to keep the high energy of Kuroki & Tiger at a minimum. Yet, they could never seem to put the champions down, as even the fabled surf board attack only seemed to keep PREDATORS momentarily stunned. PREDATORS fought back, resulting in several of their own close falls. Neither team could gain or maintain their advantage, resulting in a stalemate that ended in a time limit draw, giving both teams one point!
