Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON opened up September with the first night of action in the FUSION J-LEAGUE tournament to a solid crowd in Tokyo. Mikio Tsuruya swerved his partner for the night in LOVE's PHOENIX, as Tsuruya suddenly spiked PHOENIX with the Akuji Backdrop Driver setting up Takagi's Saikyo Lariat to give Tsuruya's hated enemy Amagawa and Takagi the victory. Tsuruya post-match praised Takagi's "power", politely asking Takagi to "not hurt him too much" in their upcoming singles match. LOVE rebounded in the second match, as Tenshin Komatsu and "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop teamed to take out the unaligned team of "Deathmatch Prince" Makoto Saito and SLAYER. Komatsu and Bishop's combined fire power gave them the win, as Komatsu stunned SLAYER with a Komatsu Knee Kick allowing Bishop to nail the monster junior-heavyweight with the Zanzai Lariat for the fall. Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi re-asserted their power in the third match of the night, as the two CRIMSON long term stars disposed of the team of C-2 Openweight Champion Masakazu Fujimoto and Shinsuke Takahashi. Fujimoto would be the one to fall, as Shimizu blasted him with a running elbow for the finish. Toshiro Noguchi nominated himself for a C-2 Openweight Championship match against Masakazu Fujimoto, to which Fujimoto accepted.
The FUSION J-LEAGUE kicked off with a one sided sprint, as PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions PREDATORS, Hiroshi Kuroki & Kaisen Tiger took down "Zetsubouzoku" of BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ichiyo Tatsuko. The difference between the teams was evident, as Kaisen Tiger flattened Ichiyo Tatsuko with a Tiger Suplex into the Bullet Wrath for the finish.
Dastard deeds spelled the difference between victory and defeat for the young team of Keiji Hirano and SPRO's SAKA Ibuchi. Despite dominating the majority of the match against "RIOT WORLD" of Ryoma Inoue and Keoni Murata, the Yankizoku team was able to pull it out after a well placed surf board attack directly to the head of the Yankizoku traitor Keiji Hirano for the fall.
The two junior champions of two promotions united, as "NEW LEGEND" of C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Ikuji Royama teamed with Aomori City Light Heavyweight Champion Tanuki Gao from BURNING PARADISE. The two faced off against arguably the most decorated Junior-Heavyweight team going, ShinoMura from LOVE. The match was back and forth, with ShinoMura using their beautiful teamwork to keep the single champions at bay. Yet Royama and Gao aren't champions for nothing, and were able to keep up with their well versed opponents. It would take both Gao and Royama to down ShinoMura, as Gao wiped out Kazuhiro Okamura with a dive, allowing Royama to blast Hiriyama in the face with a high kick for the three count.
The final tournament match saw inter-promotional team the OKINAWA SPEED STARS of Hayato Saigo and Fumihiko Shirai face off against the strongest junior team in CRIMSON, OVERTHROW in a thrilling high speed back and forth match. Saigo and Shirai used high speed and athletic ability to stay one step ahead of OVERTHROW the entire match, allowing their victory. Saigo spiked Akahito Yamada with his trademark Brainbuster, only to have Shirai springboard perfectly in with his Island Heat springboard frog splash for the flash victory.
Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and BURNING PARADISE collided in the main event. Back in December 2008, teh AT CLUB were dispatched to BURNING PARADISE's DYNAMIC DUO tournament. The pair would make the finals, but would fall to the winners Hisakatsu Okada and Toru Nishi, Toru Nishi, aiming to get yet another victory over the AT CLUB main evented with BENKEI against the AT CLUB for the C-1 Tag Team Championships. The match was back and forth with both teams putting on a display of their skills. BENKEI and Ariwa had a significant power battle, while Takano and Nishi had a fantastic display of Nishi's attacks and Takano's ability to avoid the attacks. It would take almost everything the AT CLUB had, but three Angelos in a row were able to drop the 6'3 BENKEI, giving the AT CLUB the victory and revenge from December! The AT CLUB's victory celebration was cut short, as a team they had previously defeated, Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi interrupted, and appealed for a rematch. The AT CLUB briefly considered, before accepting, with Ariwa admitting that he wouldn't mind "roughing" them up some more for lack of any better matches...
