[CRIMSON] 8/31/09 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Tokyo at Korakuen Hall for a healthy crowd. Overall, it was a good night for AVENIR. In the opening match, Keiji Hirano & Kazuki Takagi bested the Yankizoku team of Ichiyo Tatsuko and BIG BOY Tomizaki, Takagi pinning Tatsuko with the Saikyo Lariat. For the rest of AVENIR, they would shine in the semi final of the night, as Kenjiro Amagawa, Shinsuke Takahashi and the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions PREDATORS bested their Yankizoku rivals in the AT Club, Ryoma Inoue & Keoni Murata. Amagawa sealed the victory, spiking Hiroyuki Takano on his head with the Leg-Trap Backdrop Hold for the three count. In other matches, OVERTHROW gained momentum heading into the FUSION J-LEAGUE, as they defeated C-1 Junior-Heavyweight champion Ikuji Royama and Shuji Kawashima. Daishi secured his feared jujigatame, forcing the submission over Kawashima. Makoto Saito and Tenshin Komatsu with their respective forces continue to wage war, but without any definitive successes. Tonight was Saito & SLAYER's night, but not the way they would have hoped for, as Makoto Saito along with SLAYER fought with Tenshin Komatsu and PHOENIX to a disqualification victory after Komatsu began to assault the referee intentionally getting himself disqualified...The rest of LOVE fared significantly worse, as "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop, Shino Hiriyama & Kazuhiro Okamura faced off against Nobuyori Shimizu, Toshiro Noguchi, and Hayato Saigo. Both teams went toe to toe, but it would be Nobuyori Shimizu, who has mostly fallen in the background despite his successes who would come to the forefront. Shimizu blasted Bishop with a series of elbows, leading to a running elbow felling the giant from Texas for the shocking three count finish!

The main event pitted Yankizoku member Mikio Tsuruta making the first defense of his "T-1 Heavyweight Championship" that Tsuruya pilfered from Akuma Toyota against Akuma Toyota's tag team partner in HEAVY WAR, and C-2 Openweight Champion Masakazu Fujimoto. Masakazu Fujimoto fought like a run-away train in the early portion of the match, throwing Tsuruya around the ring at will, forcing the "champion" to scurry for cover. Yet, Mikio Tsuruya proved to be resourceful, as he blasted Fujimoto in the side of the knee with a chair as Fujimoto stalked him at ringside, a blow that Fujimoto never seemed to fully recover from. Tsuruya pressed his advantage, even giving Fujimoto the Akuji Backdrop Driver, only to have the monster kick out! Riding the wave of his resiliency, Fujimoto made a comeback, hitting all his signature attacks ending with the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb, only to have Tsuruya this time survive! Fujimoto aimed to finish Tsuruya off with a second Mt. Fujimoto Bomb, but Tsuruya fought back with a low blow while Yankizoku held the referee, and with the assistance of a well thrown chair by Ryoma Inoue, blasted Fujimoto in the face with a chair! A wounded Fujimoto was easy pickings for Tsuruya. Tsuruya struggled with Fujimoto's weight, but managed to successfully hit the Murder Carnival, covering Fujimoto's body for the three count!

Mikio Tsuruya's celebration was short lived, however, as "Gods of War Arise" began playing, bringing out the rightful C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota! Yankizoku formed a protective barrier around Tsuruya, as Toyota stalked to the ring. However, Toyota held no interest in attacking, instead taking a house microphone. Toyota announced that his injuries were somewhat worse than had been estimated, and he would be unable to make his return in September. Surprisingly, Toyota announced he had "no interest" in vacating the C-1 Heavyweight Championship, instead turning to Mikio Tsuruya, and telling the championship looter to "keep it polished" for when he would return! With fire in his voice, Toyota promised "all out destruction" when he returned, even if it meant he had to destroy all of Yankizoku in the process! Toyota turned to leave the ring, allowing one blind spot that Mikio Tsuruya latched onto, charging across the ring and blindsiding Toyota with a belt shot to the back of his head! Toyota collapsed to the ground, as Tsuruya stomped away, all the while screaming that he "wasn't afraid" of Toyota, and that it was his championship, not Toyota's! After several seconds of this, AVENIR along with several STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY members hit the ring in force, driving off Yankizoku, allowing Mikio Tsuruya to taunt everyone in the ring by holding up "his" T-1 Heavyweight Championship.
