The lineup for the "TOP OF THE GENERATIONS 1NIGHT" BATTLE FUSION held at Tokyo Korakuen Hall on the 23rd were revealed after much speculation. Announced in June, the brackets and participation in the tournament had been largely kept under wraps. Six promotions will send teams to the tournament to fill eight teams.
The first tournament match will pit the eternal legend Jason Ramsey and the newest SPRO rookie Atsushi Kimura into action against BURNING PARADISE's YOKAI and Tanuki Gao. It will be an early test for Kimura, but a chance for BURNING duo to make their mark with a victory over Jason Ramsey himself.
SUPERSTAR PRO has a second team in the next tournament match, as Humano Kaito and Kozan Harada will take on the inter-promotional team of Pro-Wrestling FURY star Tetsuhisa NAKAI and the freelance Ryuugo Nagashima. NAKAI, four days later, will challenge for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship in Miyagi, and could use the tournament to gain momentum…
Two junior-heavyweight teams collide in the third tournament match, as NANSEI NIHON's team of GALLEON and FALCON Hori take on the ICHIMI team of DOKUGA and Yasushi Ito. DOKUGA has a reputation for rule breaking and evil tactics, but can the heroic GALLEON and his charge Hori stop those tactics?
And the final tournament match pits FURY and CRIMSON against each other. Kazuma Fujita and the "Greco Superman" Mamoru Sekishima who may be the single greatest prospect in modern history will take on the heart and soul of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Nobuyori Shimizu and the young SCA member Shuji Kawashima. Outgunned in size and power, it will be up to Shimizu and Kawashima to fight on speed and heart.
