Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON revealed the upcoming dates and venues for the next two months for the promotion. CRIMSON continues the "Weekend Rhapsody" concept, with events held on Saturday and Sundays throughout both June and July. In addition, the lineups for the entire June series have been revealed, with several important matches.
Due to the TEXAS ROUGHRIDER's sudden departure from Japan, Yuki Nomura scrambled to come up with card placement for the masked junior, resulting in Nomura placing SLAYER with LOVE the entire series as a stop gap...
Sunday's throughout the month are given preferential treatment with larger venue sizes and matches, while the Saturday events take a secondary role. After his confrontation backstage at 5/31 with Tenshin Komatsu, the "King of the Deathmatch" will make his return to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, as Makoto Saito faces off against Tenshin Komatsu in the semi final on the 7th. The main event of the night will see Tetsuhisa NAKAI return to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to face the man he will most likely fight on 7/27, Akuma Toyota! NAKAI will bring his young charge, Ryuugo Nagashima into battle against the CRIMSON All-Star team of Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu.
The 13th will have several big matches despite being a Saturday event, as the unique team of Hayato Saigo and Akuma Toyota team up to take on the Yankizoku team of Takayuki Ariwa and Keoni Murata. The semi-main event will feature a unique match as Naoki Daishi faces off against Yankizoku member and C-1 Tag Team Champion Hiroyuki Takano. Ikuji Royama and BIG BOY Tomizaki get to settle their recent war of words as they also face off in a singles match.
The next night, Sojiro Sayuki gets the golden chance of his young career, as he faces off against C-2 Openweight Champion Masakazu Fujimoto. Despite the huge size difference, Sayuki will aim to earn the first championship gold of his young career.
The 21st will have several major matches take place, as Keoni Murata aims to make V.3 of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship over former champion Akahito Yamada in the main event. Tetsuhisa NAKAI makes yet another appearance into Pro-Wrestling FURY teaming once again with Ryuugo Nagashima to take on the team of Akuma Toyota and Shuji Kawashima, in what will surely be a learning experience for both Nagashima and Kawashima. The match third from the top is one for the ages, as for the first time since his controversial return to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON; Tenshin Komatsu will square off against his generational rival Nobuyori Shimizu in singles competition! Pride and Rank are on the line, as these two hate filled enemies will square off once again.
The 28th, the final show of the month will have several large matches much like the 21st. In the main event, LOVE's "ShinoMura" of Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura will finally receive their C-1 Tag Team Championship match against Yankizoku's "AT CLUB" of Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano. In the semi-main position, it was a match personally requested by Shinsuke Takahashi himself, as Shinsuke Takahashi aims to prove himself to Pro-Wrestling FURY's Tetsuhisa NAKAI! Both men are products of the same system, and in many ways have mirrored paths (Takahashi left wrestling to Fujita's displeasure / NAKAI left Pro-Wrestling FURY to join MAX JAPAN), but whereas Takahashi took several years off, NAKAI has continued to wrestle while further level up. The "Wrestling Genius" of Takahashi aims to best his superior. In the third from the top position, Makoto Saito will make his second appearance in Pro-Wrestling FURY as he teams with youngster Shuji Kawashima to take on the team of Tenshin Komatsu and SLAYER in tag action.
On the 3rd of July, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will head to Fukuoka for the first time in the history of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, in an ultimate act of charity will travel across Japan to honor Millennium S.K. in his home prefecture. A full week will be spent preparing the event and travel, along with a full week after before returning to the regular schedule. The event will be aired virtually full on Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's TV intersected with footage of S.K.'s career. Due to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's lack of exposure in Fukuoka, President Yuki Nomura has sent out feelers, attempting to get outsider participation to further boost the sales, and bring more financial aid in to Millennium S.K's family.
The other news, is the venue for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's yearly 7/27 event, this year titled "BATTLE ZONE '09!" will be held at the Sendai City Gymnasium in Miyagi. Not only will this be one of the rare super shows outside of Iwate, but it will also be the largest venue Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has ever attempted at seven thousand!
