Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Tokyo Korakuen Hall for the second night of the GOLDEN CHANCE festival. CRIMSON was greeted to a fully sold out venue, snapping CRIMSON's recent slump. The night's action kicked out immediately with the GOLDEN CHANCE tournament, as the two former members of the MILLENNIUM STARS in Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue clashed against one another. Ryoma Inoue attempted to steal the victory by bashing S.K. with a microphone, but S.K. stole the microphone and cracked Inoue with it himself before nailing the Millennium Driver, followed by the Millennium Star Crash for the three count and to advance in the tournament.
With his partner out of the tournament, it fell to Kazuhiro Okamura to have a good showing against the assassin from the United States, El Halcon. Halcon gave Okamura trouble throughout the match, but Okamura's calm strong style of pro-wrestling helped him immensely in the match. Much to his credit, Okamura was up to the task and despite a strong fight from Halcon, Okamura scored the win with the KO Cutter to advance in the tournament.
The youngster of OVERTHROW in his second match back in Japan was rewarded with the opportunity to show one of his mentors what he has learned from Mexico, as Sojiro Sayuki took on Akahito Yamada in a thrilling and highly competitive match. Yamada, a primarily ground based fighter found himself actually at a disadvantage as Sayuki mixed up his own ground attack style with brilliant flashes of high flying superiority. Sayuki "borrowed" a page out his friend Kaisen Tiger's playbook, as he nailed Akahito Yamada with Kaisen Tiger's Bullet Wrath double knee strike, but Yamada survived. Sayuki poured on the offense, nearly putting Yamada away with a German Suplex Hold, but again the veteran held on fast. Sayuki's over eagerness to win proved to be his downfall, as Sayuki missed an absolutely beautiful Firebird Splash attempt, leading to Yamada in quick succession hitting him with a release Straight Jacket Suplex right into the Crossface of Yamada! Despite Sayuki's struggles including nearly making the ropes until Yamada rolled them back to the center of the ring, the young man was forced to hang it up and submit to his mentor's painful hold. Yamada praised Sayuki for turning into a fantastic pro-wrestler, and said that under Yuki Nomura's watchful guidance in AVENIR that he would continue to evolve as a pro-wrestler, much to the thanks of Sayuki.
The final second round match before heading into the semi finals saw a rematch from what so far this year has been the biggest Junior title match of the year, as Yankizoku's Ikuji Royama took on the former two time Jr. champion and unquestioned Junior ace Hayato Saigo in a match that the Tokyo Korakuen Hall fans treated as a main event from the opening bell. The match played out almost exactly like their bout in February did with Royama keeping the pressure on Saigo at all times with his usual brutal assault, but Saigo was able to avoid much of the damage including an awe inspiring series of ducks, rolls, and backward bends to avoid Royama's kicks and palm strikes. The match settled in with Royama controlling Saigo with a variety of leg holds, trying to take the agility right out of arguably the most athletic junior in the world. Royama nearly made Saigo submit with a inverted deathlock submission hold where Saigo was elevated by his legs upside down, but Saigo refused to submit. When all hope appeared to be lost, Saigo began to make his comeback, but his leg gave him problems throughout his comeback, keeping him from using all his offensive abilities. Saigo attempted to put Royama away with with Brainbuster, but right at the height of the lift, Saigo's leg buckled forcing him to release Royama. As soon as he hit the ground, Royama snapped off a brutal enzuigiri to the back of Saigo's head that dropped Saigo to his knees, allowing Royama to BLAST him with the Sliding Shotei! Saigo attempted to use his tactic from Februaru to roll out of the ring, but Royama stopped him from doing so, showing that he has matured as a wrestler since then. Royama deadlifted the near unconscious Saigo, before throwing him back to the ground with the Flare Up! followed by a SECOND Sliding Shotei! This time there was no attempt to flee the ring, and the Jr. Ace of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was eliminated from the tournament! Royama was greeted with cheers from the Tokyo fans for his strong showing, but if it pleased him he gave no indication as he went to the back to rest up.
With no break between, it was now time to move to the Semi Finals of the GOLDEN CHANCE tournament, as Millennium S.K. took on ShinoMura's Kazuhiro Okamura. Two more contrasting personalities you would be hard pressed to find, as the ultra serious Okamura found himself against the flamboyant Millennium S.K. who seems to be getting increasing more like his old self with every passing day. S.K. frustrated Okamura early by seemingly taking him for granted as he elaborately danced out of the way of Okamura's attacks to laughs from the crowd. Which S.K. made sure to milk, of course. However, Okamura forced S.K. to take him personally with a strong kick right to the face. Okamura took over the match, trying to finish S.K. as effectively as he could which included hitting him with the KO Cutter less then four minutes in! However, S.K. refused to go down as easily, and eventually began to fire back with his own bombs to Okamura, leading to an incredible finishing stretch with both men throwing strikes, and their biggest moves at each other to keep the other down. S.K. finally had to pull out his trump card, the Millennium Exodus Driver, spiking Okamura on the back of his head vertically to keep Okamura down and to advance to the finals of the tournament!
Three men were left in the tournament after Kazuhiro Okamura's fall, and any of the three would be strong contenders to win the tournament outright. However, only two could meet in the finals. Yankizoku once again attempted to come to the ring with Ikuji Royama, including Keoni Murata who mocked Akahito Yamada telling him that he could "never beat our (Yankizoku) assassin!" which earned him a cold look from Royama, before Royama screamed at them that he didn't need their help to a huge ovation from the crowd! Takayuki Ariwa pulled his troops back, giving Royama an odd look, leaving Akahito Yamada and Ikuji Royama in the ring alone. With two ground specialists, the match was almost entirely fought hand to hand and in Royama's case, foot to face as he used his kicking ability more then once to turn the tide of the match. Yamada attempted to win the match using his overall fantastic grappling abilities, while Royama continually looked for the one shot kill, which Yamada used to get reversals that he probably wouldn't have found otherwise. Yamada nearly had Royama finished when he countered a Sliding Shotei attempt by avoiding it and grabbing Royama's arm in the Crossface of Yamada, but no matter how hard Yamada cranked, Royama refused to submit. As Royama struggled, the Tokyo fans began to chant Royama's name, as he screamed in defiance to avoid being defeated. Yamada, seemingly accepting his role in this match refused to release the hold until the count of four when Royama reached the ropes, earning himself a scattering of boos for the first time in his CRIMSON career. Ikuji Royama after having gone toe to toe with Saigo looked to have nothing left as Yamada went for the Straight Jacket Suplex Hold, but Royama hooked his feet in the ropes to stop the move. When Yamada released the hold, Royama suddenly leaped backwards and clocked Yamada with a kick to the face! Yamada fell to his backside stunned, and Royama pounced like a wild beat, grabbing Yamada in a Thai clinch and began to RAIN KNEES DOWN into Yamada's head! Yamada kept trying to fight back, but he couldn't break free of Royama's grasp as the knees kept coming until Yamada suddenly went limp from the blows, causing the referee to leap in, giving Ikuji Royama his second referee stoppage of the tournament! Royama collapsed exhausted after his thirty first minute of intense fighting, as he was announced as making the finals to a surprising cheer from the Tokyo fans!
AVENIR's PREDATORS have worked for this day since their formation, keeping the dream in their hearts of "returning" the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championships back to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. However, in the way of their dream stood the strongest inter-promotional junior team in the world, NANSEI's GALLEON and Pro-Wrestling FURY's Jet Jaguar! All four men went at each other with lightning quickness, and all illusions of order were quickly thrown out of the window as bodies began to fly around, inside, and outside of the ring. An absolutely sickening moment took place early, as Hiroshi Kuroki was attempting his PRISM finisher, but GALLEON say Kuroki coming and dropkicked him as he leapt onto the top rope. Kuroki went flying backwards and splatted to the floor with a horrible thud. This left Kaisen Tiger alone for most of the match, but true to their heroic nature, the two "invaders" never pressed their advantage, instead meeting Tiger head on one to one much of the time. A rise came from the Tokyo fans as Jet Jaguar and Kaisen Tiger had a thrilling exchange in the middle of the match that saw neither man being able to get the advantage over the other. When Kaisen Tiger began to tire, Hiroshi Kuroki heroically lept back into the fray. Literally with a springboard crossbody onto GALLEON. However, despite their best efforts, in the end PREDATORS were absolutely no match for the caliber of their opponents. As Hiroshi Kuroki found himself trapped in Jet Jaguar's Jaguar Special II, GALLEON crushed Kaisen Tiger with the G-CRUSHER, leaving Kuroki with no alternative but to submit to Jaguar's painful move! PREDATORS took their loss hard, with both men becoming emotional at their dream failing. However, both Jaguar and GALLEON spoke up to Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger, and encouraged them to continue chasing their dreams and challenge them once again! All four exchanged handshakes, much to the delight of the Tokyo crowd.
With the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championship match out of the way, there were the GOLDEN CHANCE finals to take care of. A big spectacle was made out of the finals. Yuki Nomura appeared in a fine suit and glasses to read a prepared statement, and to also display the large trophy that the winner would receive. Both Ikuji Royama and Millennium S.K. received surprisingly large reactions from the crowd and true to his word from the semi finals, Ikuji Royama came out alone. The match began with Millennium S.K. talking a storm in Royama's direction, mocking Royama including saying something to the effect of "beating Saigo doesn't impress me!" and calling Royama "weak" for having aligned with Yankizoku. However, Royama simply stared at S.K. stoically in return, seemingly unaffected by S.K. blather. This only served to anger Millennium S.K. who slapped Royama in the face! This caught Royama's attention, but S.K. fled the ring to avoid Royama's anger in a blatant "bad guy" move if there ever was one. Unsurprisingly, the Tokyo fans reacted by jeering S.K. which only angered S.K. who made it worse by throwing a miniature temper tantrum at ringside... S.K. seemed to mentally decide that if the fans were going to jeer him, that he would give them something to jeer, as immediately upon re-entering the ring he poked Royama blatantly in the eyes...From there on, S.K. controlled the match, with every time Royama would make a comeback, S.K. would suppress it with a heel tactic going back to the eyes multiple times through the course of the match. Royama found some success in the middle of the match with kicks that took some of the fight out of S.K., but S.K. used his cleverness to adjust to Royama's strategy by grabbing Royama in mid kick and nailing a dragon screw legwhip! Along with his heel tactics, S.K. also began to target Royama's right leg, attempting to take Royama completely out of the match. S.K. finally decided that he had wounded Royama enough and went for his big moves, nailing the Millennium Driver, but Royama kicked out! S.K. then tried te Millennium Star Crash, but again Royama kicked out. The Millennium Exodus Driver gave S.K. the same result as Ikuji Royama refused to be put down! S.K. went for the Dementia Crash, his ultimate kill move, but Royama suddenly grabbed S.K. and threw him with a Capture Suplex! Both men laid stunned as the Tokyo crowd almost unanimously cheered for Royama to fight back. Both men got up at roughly the same time, and began to exchange blows. As expected, this proved to be a bad choice for S.K. as Royama gained more and more ground with every strike, leading to the same sequence Royama used on Saigo, an enzuigiri into the Sliding Shotei! Royama covered but MILLENNIUM S.K. KICKED OUT! A stunned Royama, after regrouping, attempted to set up a second Sliding Shotei, but S.K. fought back with elbows to escape from the Flare Up! leading to S.K. falling behind Royama and attempting to German Suplex him, but Royama pulled the same card he used on Yamada, broke free, and hit a backwards kick to the face! When Royama pulled himself to his feet, the two stood in front of each other. With S.K. on woobly legs, but Royama having no moves left to use and hunched over in exhausted, Royama screamed in abject frustration. S.K. responded to the young man's frustration and cocked a sarcastic smile. As if S.K. knew Royama had nothing left to hit him with, meaning he had won. S.K.'s smile was wiped away as Royama suddenly BLASTED S.K. in the side of the head with a HIGH KICK using his injured right leg! S.K. collapsed onto his side unconscious, followed by a completely exhausted Royama who collapsed on top of S.K. and sprawled out on top of him as the referee counted with the fan's count as Ikuji Royama was the victor of the 2009 GOLDEN CHANCE 2DAY tournament after over FIFTY MINUTES combined action!
Ikuji Royama rejected help, and after several minutes of trying, pulled himself to his feet under his own power. He was greeted by a clapping Yuki Nomura, who despite knowing Royama's allegiance to Yankizoku, was beaming ear to ear for the young man. Royama was presented with the trophy, and told that he now had the right to challenge his own stable mate Keoni Murata for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship! Before Royama could speak, Yankizoku came to the ring clapping for their stable mate. After some pandering to Royama, Takayuki Ariwa suddenly got to the meat of the matter and suggested to Royama that he forfeit his Junior-Heavyweight Championship match, saying that Yankizoku already had the C-1 Jr. title! Murata spoke up, saying that since he was already Junior champion, they had no reason to fight and instead they should celebrate the fact that he was champion! A wave of jeers went from the Tokyo fans, as Ikuji Royama asked for a microphone. Royama said that tonight, he had to stand on his own two feet without anyone else, and he had proven to himself, to Yuki Nomura, to the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON fans that he didn't NEED Yankizoku! Royama then told Yankizoku that as of right now, he QUIT the group and with a wild gesture to Keoni Murata, that he would be taking the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, just like he promised his mentor Ryo Suzuki he would! Yankizoku seemed to take Royama's declaration with surprising ease before Takayuki Ariwa calmly told Royama that he wished he didn't have to do this, before Yankizoku suddenly attacked Ikuji Royama! BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ichiyo Tatsuko held Yuki Nomura at bay as the others attacked. Their attack lasted all of a few seconds before a man RACED to the ring as fast as he could, as YOSHIAKI MATSUDA HIT THE RING! The Tokyo fans became unglued as the former IFS Openweight Champion began to wildly swing at anything that moved in the ring until he had cleared it of Yankizoku. Yuki Nomura and an emerging AVENIR chased Yankizoku to the back, leaving Yoshiaki Matsuda and a wounded Ikuji Royama alone. The usually stoic Matsuda was obviously enraged as he picked up the discarded microphone and called Yankizoku pests and promised that as soon as he could he would "exterminate" them. Matsuda turned to Royama, before he told Royama that they were very similar, saying that Royama had proven that he was unafraid to chase his dream no matter the cost, and that he had passed him in that regard. Matsuda held out his free hand before asking Ikuji Royama if he would be willing to chase their dreams together towards their mutual championship destinies. Royama considered briefly, before accepting Matsuda's hand and stood to Yoshiaki Matsuda. Matsuda ended by saying that he hadn't intended to make any friends or allies in his quest, but that tonight he realized that he may not be as alone as he thought. With that Yoshiaki Matsuda announced Ikuji Royama as the "Number One challenger" for the Junior-Heavyweight Champion to a round of cheers from the Tokyo fans!
With the GOLDEN CHANCE 2DAY Tournament out of the way, only one match was left to take place for the biggest prize in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, the C-1 Heavyweight Champion as Akuma Toyota aimed to make his fifth defense of the championship against the C-2 Openweight Champion "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop. In the pre-match promo, the theme that if Akuma Toyota won this match, he would become the most successful C-1 Heavyweight Champion of all time was hyped, while Jake Bishop's goal to be both C-1 and C-2 single champions at once was played up. Unlike the last match, the affiliation for the fans was never in question, as the crowd heavily cheered Akuma Toyota while they jeered the foriegn monster Bishop. After all the usual pageantry, all that was left was for the two massive behemoths to swing at each other until one fell. Which they did. There was nothing in the way of grandiose plans in this match, no elaborate game plans, and no high risks. Both Akuma Toyota and "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop had one game plan: To charge into the other as hard as possible and just beat the holy hell out of the other person until one of them fell. Early on it was a shoulder block challenge, which went on for well over a minute with the crowd rolling with each shoulder block, but neither man would give a single inch to the other. When that failed for both men, the two began to slap, chop, and generally just beat the hell out of the other. Toyota's primary weapon was the chop, while Bishop seemed to prefer an overhand blow to the shoulders and neck area of Toyota. Despite the absolute thudding they were giving each other, neither man would step back or give ground in any way at all. Their inability to gain anything on the other led to desperation finally, with both men coming up with the same game plan at the same time, leading to a Lariat versus Texan Bomber battle. Both clashed into each other with sickening thuds, but this time there would be a winner. It was a favorite attack against the primary attack, which led to "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop finally being able to gain an advantage, the first of the match over Akuma Toyota. Toyota absorbed two Texas Bombers, more then any normal man should be able to, but a third put Toyota on Dream Street, with Toyota barely being able to kick out at 2.9 to keep his championship! Bishop applied the Texas Claw Hold on the wounded Toyota, but this only seemed to serve to "wake up" the beast within Toyota, as he began to stir from being nearly knocked unconscious by the Texan Bombers. Bishop attempted his Texan Bomber's again, but Toyota was read this time and Lariated Bishop's arm as it came in! With Bishop stunned, Toyota suddenly showed his cruel nature with a BRUTAL PUNCH TO BISHOP'S JAW! The crowd jeered the champion as Bishop crumbled from Toyota's straight to the face. Toyota began to stomp the mat, as is summoning power within him as the fans that weren't angry at Toyota's blatant blow began to clap along. When Bishop stood up, Toyota unleashed the full fury of his arsenal on Bishop, nailing him with a series of lariats to his chest, before hitting him with the Akuma Ichimonji! However, Bishop showed his own power by kicking out of Toyota's favorite move! Toyota immediately hit Bishop with a second Akuma Ichimonji, but again Bishop kicked out! With no other move left to use, Toyota gave a slit throat motion while screaming "SAKUJO" just like he had done in December! Toyota displayed his incredible power by lifting Bishop onto his shoulder in Canadian Backbreaker position, before taking a running start and SPIKING BISHOP VERTICALLY WITH THE SAKUJO! Bishop was unmoving as Toyota rolled over Bishop and pinned him with a hand on the chest, displaying the awesome power that may make him the strongest in the world as Akuma Toyota made history with his fifth C-1 Heavyweight Championship defense!
In the wake of Toyota's awesome display of battle power, the crowd filled the Korakuen Hall with cheers and chants of Toyota's name. During the title presentation, Yuki Nomura finally gave in and referred to Akuma Toyota as the "ace" of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON finally giving Toyota the seal of approval from the now retired President. Toyota proudly held both his championships on his shoulders as he gave a microphone appeal, saying that with every victory he was "reviving" the concept of the "Most Powerful Champion" in Japanese Pro-Wrestling, and on his back he would carry Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to the highest high it had ever known! However, a voice came from ringside mocking Toyota's words...The voice climbed into the ring revealing Tenshin Komatsu! Komatsu applauded Toyota's victory, but reminded Toyota that he had the right to challenge Toyota any time he wanted for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. Toyota immediately went on guard, but Komatsu informed him that he had a "bigger stage" in mind for his title challenge, but told Toyota that he would be coming, and planned to claim the C-1 Heavyweight Championship as his own property soon! Toyota spit at Komatsu's feet, before telling Komatsu that he would take the C-1 Heavyweight Championship over his dead body, to which Komatsu simply laughed and left the ring without incident...After calming down, Akuma Toyota put on his most polite face, and thanked the fans for coming to support CRIMSON and himself, before promising that this time next year he would still be C-1 Heavyweight Champion!

S.K. seemed to mentally decide that if the fans were going to jeer him, that he would give them something to jeer, as immediately upon re-entering the ring he poked Royama blatantly in the eyes...From there on, S.K. controlled the match, with every time Royama would make a comeback, S.K. would suppress it with a heel tactic going back to the eyes multiple times through the course of the match.
