The end of the year has come, and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium to close out the year with DUE TIME EPISODE.5! While not a sellout, the crowd was full of loyal Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON fans eager to see the best action possible tonight. Before the event began, President Yuki Nomura came to ringside and thanked the fans for coming to the arena to see the biggest show of the year for CRIMSON. Nomura then announced that in January, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would be running their first tag league in the history of the promotion! Nomura gave very few details, but said that he aimed to "elevate" the tag structure of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON by putting the very best wrestlers in the tournament! Nomura asked the fans to enjoy themselves, and leave their hearts on display for the wrestlers to respond to, to a rousing round of cheers from the CRIMSON faithful!
Four young wrestlers found themselves in the opening match, as the Yankizoku team of Ikuji Royama and Ichiyo Tatsuko teamed up to take on the AVENIR and STRONGEST team of Kazuki Takagi and Shuji Kawashima. The two weakest links of AVENIR and STRONGEST found themselves woefully under matched against the fearsome striking power of Ikuji Royama. Royama blew through both his former friend Takagi and the young rookie Kawashima effortlessly when he was in the ring, in route to finishing Kawashima with the Sliding Shotei...Surprisingly; Ikuji Royama had something to say. The usually calm, stoic, and emotionless Royama announced that he wanted a TITLE SHOT, having done undefeated for months! Royama then issues a threat, saying regardless of who won the Jr title match tonight; he would crush them to gain the championship in the near future, to a surprisingly positive reaction from the fans.
Four of the unaligned wrestlers of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON faced off in the second match. The open weight team of Toshiro Noguchi and Keoni Murata took on the team of Naoki Daishi and Natsuo Sakoda in tag team action. Both teams were evenly matched, much to the surprise of the fans as Daishi and Sakoda showed off surprising team work throughout the match to keep their arguably stronger opponents at bay. However, late in the match the team of Noguchi and Murata began to pull away from their junior opponents. Noguchi blasted Natsuo Sakoda with the Thunder Hammer, and Murata followed it up with a picture perfect Backdrop Hold for the three count fall over Natsuo Sakoda!
Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON rarely steps out of the realm of singles, tags, and multiple man tag matches, but tonight in the third match saw what may be the first handicap match in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON history. The Yankizoku team of Keiji Hirano and BIG BOY Tomizaki teamed up to take on the nearly invincible SLAYER from the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS. Once again, SLAYER was sporting cowboy boots in the match, seemingly as far as the masked man is willing to go to fit in with his teammates. The match progressed like you would expect it to, with Hirano and Tomizaki using underhanded, dirty, and cheap tricks to keep the monster at bay, however, regardless of what Hirano and Tomizaki could do, SLAYER simply kept coming forward towards them with a one track mind. Tomizaki managed to wound SLAYER with a wooden sword attack, and Hirano capitalized with his rarely used Shining Horse move, but SLAYER kicked out at one! Hirano and Tomizaki began to rampantly double team SLAYER despite the referee's protests, but SLAYER suddenly flipped into another gear and fought back on his own. Hirano and Tomizaki found themselves reeling as SLAYER pounded away on both men in route to blasting both of them with the Zanzai Lariat! Instead of pinning them, SLAYER pulled both over to a turnbuckle and placed Hirano on top of Tomizaki before climbing to the second rope! SLAYER, with his arms to his side then slowly tipped forward and crushed both men under his weight with a motionless splash for the three count! Rui Kuriyama entered the ring, keeping SLAYER from attacking his downed opponents, and announced the splash as the "SLAYER Press"! Kuriyama then issued a grandstand challenge on behalf of SLAYER saying that SLAYER could, and would defeat any Junior stupid enough to face him!
October 13th, two thousand and eight will go down as the night that the MILLENNIUM STARS were destroyed. It will also be known as the night that the identity of Millennium S.K. was sealed away. The man responsible for it all? Ryoma Inoue. Tonight, at DUE TIME, Sorai Kamachi got his chance to avenge not only his pride, but his faction, and his own identity for the first time in singles competition. Unsurprisingly, Ryoma Inoue was accompanied to the ring by Ichiyo Tatsuko, who made sure to carry everything Ryoma Inoue could need. Water, a microphone, a towel, and even a few candies just in case Ryoma Inoue needed a snack mid-match. Sorai Kamachi entered exactly the opposite of Ryoma Inoue, shockingly few frills for the former eccentric heel, with a look of determination on his face. Ryoma Inoue began the match immediately by fleeing the ring, insisting on Ichiyo Tatsuko towel off the pre-match sweat from his brow. The fans immediately began to launch into Ryoma Inoue with jeers, which caused Inoue to take his wireless microphone and insist that if the fans didn't begin treating him with respect, he would walk out of the match! While Inoue was screaming at the fans, Sorai Kamachi snuck up behind and spun Inoue around. Inoue spun around while screaming into the microphone and then a loud "THUNK" was heard as Kamachi punched Inoue in the face! Inoue began to scream and plead as he ran away from Kamachi, but the former Millennium S.K. held fast in chasing Ryoma Inoue around the ring until tricked Kamachi by sliding into the ring first, and then attacking Kamachi as he slid in. From that point on, Ryoma Inoue controlled the match with help from Ichiyo Tatsuko who helped more then once with interference when Kamachi seemed to be making his own comeback...However, Hayato Saigo had seen enough after twelve minutes of this pattern, and suddenly ran down and attacked Ichiyo Tatsuko! With the odds evened, Sorai Kamachi was able to fight back against Ryoma Inoue with both men trying their best to overcome the other. When Sorai Kamachi looked to be winning the fight, Ryoma Inoue bailed out of the ring and grabbed his wireless microphone. Sorai Kamachi followed, and Ryoma Inoue swung for the fences...Only to have Sorai Kamachi duck the blow, grab Inoue and slam him on the back of his head with the Millennium Driver! Kamachi wasn't satisfied, as he picked up Inoue, hooked his wrist and crushed him with the Millennium Exodus Driver! Inoue appeared to be unconscious as Kamachi picked up Inoue and rolled him into the ring. Kamachi's face grew wide with a smile, and he took time to adjust his long hair as Inoue struggled to his feet...When Inoue had reached his feet, Kamachi hooked him and slammed him with the Dementia Crash! Inoue was completely unmoving as Kamachi placed one foot on Inoue's corpse for the three count!
Sorai Kamachi's arm was raised as he was announced the winner...However, Kamachi then went and talked to the ring announcer while making motions that something was wrong...Kamachi went back into the ring, and demanded that his arm be raised again as the ring announcer announced the winner as MILLENNIUM S.K.! The Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium exploded in cheers as S.K. was reborn! S.K's face was beaming as he stole the microphone from the ring announcer. With his trademark tone and sarcasm, S.K. announced that he had sealed the S.K. identity until he gained revenge and "leveled" back up to where he was years ago...S.K. then pointed to the corpse of Inoue that Ichiyo Tatsuko was dragging away and apologized for beating him so badly, but then thanked Inoue for giving him what he had needed. S.K. pointed at the fans and screamed "You all wanted me back right?!" to a large round of cheers. S.K. said that his goal has never changed. He will become the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion once again, but said that for "now" he would continue to associate with STRONGEST, saying there was none stronger then himself after all! S.K. then left the ring, as usual refusing the touch the fans before throwing his hands up in victory!
After the emotional high of seeing the return of Millennium S.K., the fans were brought back to earth with an incredibly violent match between two former best friends. Mikio Tsuruya, as expected was flanked by Yankizoku including BIG BOY Tomizaki, Keiji Hirano, Ikuji Royama and Ichiyo Tatsuko...Not to be outdone, Kenjiro Amagawa came out with AVENIR including Kazuki Takagi, Kaisen Tiger, and Hiroshi Kuroki. Before the match even began, the two former amateur wrestlers armed themselves with chairs, seemingly fully prepared to live up to the "Deathmatch" name in the title. Both swung wildly, but like expert swordsmen, both dodged out of the way of the other's attacks. Mikio Tsuruya was the first to score a blow with an absolutely blatant low blow right between the uprights of Amagawa's legs. With Amagawa reeling in pain, Tsuruya cracked Amagawa upside the head with a murderous chair shot that leveled Amagawa. Tsuruya covered, but Amagawa kicked out amidst the cheers of AVENIR at ringside. Tsuruya kept the pressure up, slamming Amagawa's head into the chair multiple times until the young man was bleeding from the face. Tsuruya showed a surprising dark side, as he began to rip and bite at the opening wound on Amagawa's face, much to the disdain of the fans in attendance. Kazuki Takagi became a cheerleader at ringside, leading the fans in chants of Amagawa's name to try and get the young man back on his feet, but every time Amagawa would begin to show the slightest hint of life, Tsuruya would club him back down to earth and then begin to grind away at him with simple holds and attacks such as short elbows aimed to open the cut even further. Tsuruya attempted to finish the match off with the Akuji Backdrop Driver, but Amagawa fought out of the hold with elbows to the back of Tsuruya's head, before dropping Tsuruya with a dropkick as he tried to recover. The fans launched into loud chants of Amagawa's name, feeling for the betrayed warrior as Amagawa pulled himself together with blood coming down his face. Amagawa and Tsuruya met in the center of the ring throwing vicious elbows to each other's face and head, causing sweat to fly off. However, Amagawa screamed in rage before landing several hard elbows to the side of Tsuruya's face, before dead lifting his former best friend and dropping him on his head with a Backdrop! The crowd roared as Amagawa covered, but Tsuruya kicked out at two. Amagawa gave a signal that he was aiming for the Superdriver, when all hell broke loose. Yankizoku rushed the ring in force and began to attack Amagawa! However, AVENIR charged the ring as well, leading to a huge brawl in the middle of the ring before all the members piled out of the ring in pairs...Everyone except BIG BOY Tomizaki who *cracked* Amagawa upside the head with his wooden sword! Amagawa collapsed, and Tsuruya immediately capitalized with the Akuji Backdrop Driver, stealing the victory and the three count over his former best friend!
After the match, when AVENIR had returned to protect their friend, Tsuruya cut a bitter promo, telling Amagawa that the one thing he lacked was "desperate need". Tsuruya stated that he would do "anything to win", but that Amagawa still held close to his virtue and that as long as Amagawa demanded to play by the rules he would never be able to best him, or close the gap that had suddenly grown between them...The crowd called out their support to Amagawa as the tortured young star began to visibly cry in frustration in the middle of the ring as AVENIR tended to him...
Hayato Saigo has dominated the junior ranks of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON for the last eight months. Yet, early in the year it was Akahito Yamada who stood out as the shining star of the division, winning the Junior league in January, and winning the championship the very next month. Akahito Yamada entered the ring first to his theme "Bloodclot" to a warm reception from the CRIMSON faithful, with several fans chanting for the former Pro-Wrestling FURY wrestler. Akahito Yamada seemed anxious for the match ahead, looking almost pensive as "Vanity Destroyer" began to play and the dominate C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo came to the ring for the championship match. Surprisingly, both men appeared to be even in terms of fan support with even some of the CRIMSON faithful booing Hayato Saigo, which seemed to catch both Saigo and Yamada off guard. Both men came out strong at the bell, exchanging high level counters and reversals to the joy of the fans in attendance. Yamada's basics were stronger, but Saigo's agility and speed evened out the odds significantly leading to the two being stalemated. Saigo attempted to kick the match into top gear by responding to an irish whip with a back spring elbow, but Yamada kneed Saigo as he was flying towards him and clipped Saigo’s wings severely. Yamada targeted Saigo’s back, hitting him with a variety of back breakers and submission holds aimed to weaken Saigo’s back possibly for the Crossface of Yamada or a variation there of. Yamada tortured Saigo with bow and arrow’s, high angle crabs, and camel clutches fully intending to destroy Saigo’s back if need be. However, Saigo refused to submit to any of the holds and continued to try and rally when the time came for him to make attempts. Surprisingly, the crowd continued to backlash against Saigo as the fans cheered more and more for Yamada as he poured more and more pressure on Saigo, however, Saigo refused to give in and fought back…to boos. The crowd’s less then stellar reaction didn’t seem to bother the champion much as he scored with several key moves to gain momentum. The end of the match saw both men pull out every stop they had, with all their biggest bombs being dropped on each other. Saigo used his Brainbuster, and attempted his Phoenix Splash only to crash and burn on Yamada’s knees. Yamada in turn used his Straight Jacket Suplex Hold and the Crossface of Yamada, but Saigo survived them much to the chagrin of both Yamada and the fans…Saigo managed to prove why he is the Jr. ace of CRIMSON as he scored with his Brainbuster, and then followed it up with a picture perfect Phoenix Splash to score the three count and make a successful version seven defense of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship!
Saigo attempted to rectify himself to the fans, praising Akahito Yamada for his strength and the great challenge he had given him not only tonight but throughout the year. The fans firmly turned back to Saigo's favor as Akahito Yamada walked up to Saigo, embraced him, and rose the hand of his rival to a round of applause from the fans at the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium!
The tag team championships would be decided in the seventh match as the C-1 Tag Team Champions of the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS, “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop and Rui Kuriyama as they aimed to make a successful version two defense of their championships against the AT CLUB of Yankizoku's Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano. Surprisingly, neither team were flanked by other members of their groups, instead both teams came out and seemed to be prepared to fight a upstanding tag contest to simply decide who the better team was. That illusion was quickly dispelled as during the pre-match introductions, Jake Bishop suddenly charged across the ring and attacked both Ariwa and Takano with his cow rope, triggering a massive brawl! Kuriyama and Takano squared off, and ended up fighting in the crowd with Kuriyama at one point trying to plunge Takano off a flight of stairs, only to have Takano fight back. In the ring, Ariwa and Bishop went toe to toe with no regard for defense or safety. With every blow, the tide seemed to turn more in favor of Ariwa, who as usual seemed to get stronger the fiercer the battle became. Out at ringside, Hiroyuki Takano committed what may be the stupidest stunt in CRIMSON history. After knocking Kuriyama down some stairs, Takano then PLANCHA'D onto Kuriyama, sending them both crashing into seats as the fans fled in terror! The referee, having given up early in the match to have any kind of control simply watched in horror in the ring as Bishop and Ariwa both began to bleed from the head from the brutality of their bloods. Blood was leaking from Ariwa's head, perhaps from an internal ear injury or simply from a cut on his ear while Bishop's nose had virtually been demolished by Ariwa's forearms. Bishop, realizing he was losing the battle took the better part of valor and retreated by leaving the ring...However, it proved to be a step backwards towards future victory as he blindsided Ariwa with the Texan Bomber when the massive man came outside! Bishop grabbed his cow rope, and began to choke Ariwa out using the ringside railing for leverage...Hiroyuki Takano, having somewhat recovered from his death leap intervened as he nailed Bishop in the back of the head with the Takano Flash! Takano grabbed the staggered Texans head, climbed onto the railing and then hit a modified tornado DDT onto the floor! The referee, finally having realized that the wrestlers were going to kill themselves at this rate began to threaten a double disqualification if they didn't enter the ring proper...Hiroyuki Takano responded by rolling Bishop's body into the ring and attempting a pinfall, but the huge Texan kicked out!
After the chaotic scene of the first few minutes, the crowd was red hot as Hiroyuki Takano laid into Jake Bishop with kicks. On the outside, Kuriyama was slowly pulling himself towards the ring while holding his right side in obvious pain. Ariwa was still unconscious after having taken the Texan Bomber on the floor, turning a tag championship match into virtually a singles match! Takano realizing after his C-2 Openweight Championship defeat to Bishop that he had to be quick about finishing Bishop off, set about hitting all his trademark moves on Bishop. The Takano Driver resulted in a two count. A second Takano Flash resulted in a 2.7. Hiroyuki Takano aimed to finish Bishop off with a Moonsault Press, but Bishop managed to roll away from the move...However, showing off his impressive agility, Takano landed on his feet! Only to be immediately beheaded by a Kuri Lariat from Rui Kuriyama! Jake Bishop rolled to the floor completely spent from Takano's assault as Kuriyama struggled to stay upright as Takano laid on the mat struggling to get to his feet. Kuriyama lifted Takano up and planted him with a Powerbomb, but Takano kicked out at two! Kuriyama gave the signal for a second Kuri Lariat, but suddenly found himself grabbed from behind and then dumped on his head with a RELEASE DRAGON SUPLEX from Takayuki Ariwa! Ariwa lifted Kuriyama and beheaded him with an Angelos before giving Takano a signal to go to the top rope! Ariwa grabbed Kuriyama and dead lifted him so that he was up on his shoulders as Takano came flying off with a flying Takano Flash, sending Kuriyama crashing to the mat! Ariwa went for the cover, but Jake Bishop re-entered the fray and broke up the pin at two! Takano and Ariwa targeted the Gaijin, but Bishop began to showcase his impressive strength despite his shattered face and fought both AT CLUB members off, before leveling Takano AND Ariwa with a double Texan Bomber!
The “Texas Outlaw” appeared to have the match won when there was a sudden clamor from the audience, along with a round of jeers as four men wearing white hoods suddenly hit the ring! The “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop was caught off guard but attacked all four of the masked men, however their sheer numbers overwhelmed him leading to one of the men to land an absolutely MURDEROUS soccer kick directly to Bishop's already broken face! The four men then all attacked the four men in the ring, resulting in the referee frantically gesturing for the bell and waving off the contest. The men all went in separate directions as if following some kind of premeditated plan. Two grabbed chairs, one grabbed a microphone, while a fourth stood stoically in the middle of the ring making sure that none of the four in the ring moved. It took virtually no time at all until Yankizoku came to the ring in force...However, the four men had a plan in store as they placed the edge of a chair across Hiroyuki Takano's throat, while a second lifted his chair high above his head while poised over Takano's body. The microphone wielder praised Yankizoku for their courage, but said that if they or anyone else tried to get into the ring, they would crush Takano's throat and end his career! Takayuki Ariwa audibly began to scream bloody murder as he struggled to his feet having seen and heard this, screaming that he was going to kill the four men as he charged the seeming ringleader. The man watched Ariwa charge and then BLASTED Ariwa in the face with a gamengiri, to a LOUD shocked reaction from the fans in the building! With minimal effort, the ringleader then blasted Kuriyama in the face with a blow to keep him from getting up as well before returning to his original position in the middle of the ring...The microphone wielder then began explaining their intentions, saying that “they” had “promised to ruin the event” if their demands weren't met! He gestured around the ring, and said that these four men were the “sacrifices demanded” for ignoring them. He announced them as the Lone Original Violent Extremists, and said that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was now their's to do what they wished to! At this point, the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON locker room emptied with friends and foes standing alike watching what was taking place. President Yuki Nomura took a microphone and began to scream for Tatsumichi Akamatsu to reveal himself this instant, accusing the ringleader to be Tatsumichi Akamatsu! The crowd exploded in jeers as they expected the ringleader to unmask to be Akamatsu. However, the microphone holding masked man simply laughed and stated that none of them were Akamatsu. Nomura responded by demanding to know why they were doing this after they had just repelled the BLACKHEARTS not a half year ago! The microphone holding masked man again laughed, before praising Akamatsu's invasion, saying that they had gotten this idea from watching him...but that unlike Akamatsu they had no “underlying goal” for doing this. Instead, the masked man just insisted that they were “having fun” with this and that was their only goal, to amuse themselves at other's expense! President Yuki Nomura then switched tactics, and began to try and negotiate with the four men beginning by insisting that they simply reveal who they were to them...The microphone holding masked man looked at his boss, who nodded. With that, the microphone holding masked man reached up and pulled his mask off...revealing former Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE star, SHINO HIRIYAMA! Hiryama laughed before saying “I'm home everyone!” to a loud round of jeers from the fans. Next was the masked man holding the chair against Takano's throat, unsurprisingly revealing Shino Hiriyama's partner Kazuhiro Okamura! The biggest of the four, and the one holding the chair in the air over Takano's body went next revealing Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE's Masukazu Fujimoto! The fans let loose with a huge round of jeers having been caught off guard by Fujimoto's reveal. The fourth, and the seeming ringleader simply stood in the ring and made no motion to remove his. This caused President Yuki Nomura to lose his cool, as he DEMANDED to know who the leader was if it wasn't Tatsumichi Akamatsu! A wave of anticipation built as the ringleader slowly reached up and began to pull his hood off slowly...The first sign of who it was was a fleck of brown hair falling out of the hood. Then in one sudden yank the hood came off REVEALING TENSHIN KOMATSU!!!
The Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium EXPLODED in shock, jeers, and cheers as Tenshin Komatsu returned from his self imposed retirement!! The Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON wrestlers all stood in utter shock, while the fans continued to explode in a mixture of cheers, jeers, and even some chants of Komatsu's name as Tenshin Komatsu stood in the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ring for the first time in almost a full year!! Hiryama began howling in laughter at their reaction, before he screamed, “Who were you expecting?!” followed by “It says Original in the name!” and more laughter and ironically more jeers from the crowd. Nomura began to plead for Komatsu to explain himself, which Komatsu seemed to agree to by taking the microphone from Hiriyama. Komatsu paused as the fans began to almost unanimously chant his name, before he actually began to explain. Komatsu began by saying that six months ago, two months after retiring his wife had left him. His young children refused to see him. The reason? Because he couldn't let go. He couldn't walk away from Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and the pro-wrestling business...but then said that he grown to hate the promotion. in the months since. When he retired, Komatsu said, no one but Makoto Saito followed him. No one tried to convince him to stay. No one cared. Komatsu called then President Mimura's claim that he had tried to arrange a retirement ceremony a lie, saying that he had never once gotten any such offer. Komatsu said that the night he gave Makoto Saito his headband at the King of the Deathmatch Tournament earlier this year was the night he “died” and was later “reborn”. Watching Makoto Saito's desire reawakened his own desire, and since that day he had been living with Ryo Suzuki and training every day for this moment! Komatsu gestured around the ring at the other three men before referring to them as “wanderers” who had no place to go, and no goals in sight. Komatsu screamed into the microphone that he had given them a goal, to PROVE that Tenshin Komatsu is strongest.!Komatsu spiked the microphone for extra emphasis as the crowd roared in a mixture of approval and disapproval. Tenshin Komatsu waved his hand, and all other three members of LOVE filed in rank behind him as they turned and proceeded to leave through the crowd. Hiriyama continued to laugh hysterically making sure to both point at the wrestlers and at the crowd to make sure they knew he was mocking them. A weird stillness settled in around the ring as the crowd sat in amazement, and the wrestlers dumbfounded until Seiji Ebisawa rushed into the ring to check on the wounded wrestlers...After the four had been gathered and helped to the back, an intermission was hastily called to give the fans time to recharge...
During the intermission, all the commentators could talk about was the shocking return of Tenshin Komatsu with many of them saying that they had felt Komatsu would return someday but “not like this”...Live footage from the backstage area was shown, as the CRIMSON locker rooms were thrown into disarray at the shocking development. However, things had to eventually return to normal as the hype for the final two matches began. A lengthy discussion developed over the subtitle of the Banishment match called “DETERMINE THE FINAL PILLAR”...Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON originally had four pillars. Hachiro Yakuta, who moved onto Pro-Wrestling FURY. Goro Iijima, who was released. That left Seiji Ebisawa and Yuki Nomura. Tonight, no matter what happens, there will be only one pillar of the original strength of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON left standing, the question being; who will it be?
On that note, the lights in the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium dimmed, as a video package aired for both the viewing audience at home, and on the big screen at the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium. Clips were shown of Yuki Nomura's career in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON progressing from HANGUN leader to Seikigun leader. Still shots and clips were shown of his three C-1 Heavyweight Championship victories along with winning the 2005 Power Source tournament...Next was Seiji Ebisawa. Clips of his debut as a member of Spirit International, then winning the Power Source 2003 and his C-1 Heavyweight Championship victories. The final series of clips saw the two of them facing off multiple times. The final shot was both men holding up the C-1 Heavyweight Championship, with the line “The final battle” written under their images...
“Glory” began to play as Yuki Nomura came out first for the Banishment match. Nomura was flanked by AVENIR who came out to support their leader and mentor. Nomura's face said it all. He was confused, upset, and determined all wrapped up into one complex emotional package. The fans, having come back to their senses wildly cheered their hero from the first year of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON until now. Nomura responded their cheers by acknowledging them with a wave of his hand as the lights dimmed again. “Saturday” played in the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium as Yankizoku leader Seiji Ebisawa came to the ring. He was flocked by Yankizoku, everyone aside from Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano. Seiji Ebisawa's face was surprisingly calm unlike Nomura's, his usual calm exterior hiding the chaos inside of his heart, or simply Ebisawa was focusing everything on their one match. If he can defeat Yuki Nomura, he can deal with the other issues later. For now, these two men only had one goal in front of them: To defeat the other person.
Seiji Ebisawa, after having gotten into the ring suddenly dismissed Yankizoku, insisting that he wanted to win this match on his merits and only his merits alone! Yuki Nomura responded to Ebisawa's action by dismissing AVENIR. The cluttered ringside area was suddenly barren as the fans exploded in appreciation for the two men's actions. The introductions were read, with both men receiving loud reactions from the crowd. The bell rang and Yuki Nomura stepped forward and offered his hand to Seiji Ebisawa. Despite their differences. Despite their issues. Seiji Ebisawa stepped forward and accepted Yuki Nomura's hand! Despite all their problems, the only thing they both shared was a mutual respect for the other.
The match began slowly, with both men circling the other, unwilling to make any mistakes in this all important match. They tested each other with a greco roman knuckle lock, but neither could gain an advantage resulting in the breaking of the lock. Seiji Ebisawa landed the first blow of the match by grabbing Yuki Nomura with a headlock. The two struggled for control of the hold with Nomura attemping to counter out of it, while Ebisawa managed to hold on the tenacity of a pit bull Ebisawa threw Nomura over with a headlock take down, only to have Nomura immediately counter with head scissors. Ebisawa tried to pull out of the hold, but Nomura clamped down on Ebisawa's head tightly, and even arched up using his arms to put more pressure on Ebisawa. Ebisawa was finally able to escape by pulling Nomura's legs apart with his hands, reached his feet and gave Nomura a wicked boot to the head as Nomura was trying to stand up! Ebisawa once again locked on the headlock, but Nomura threw Ebisawa off and into the ropes. Ebisawa bounced off the ropes as Yuki Nomura ducked down. As Ebisawa was bouncing off the other side of the ropes, Nomura sprinted at him and leveled Ebisawa with an elbow to the face sending Ebisawa falling out of the ring for the first major blow of the match to a round of cheers from the fans at the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium!
The match followed this pattern throughout. Neither man was risking their CRIMSON career for what could be a one shot finish, or a one shot failure, and instead both stuck to simple pro-wrestling, exchanging holds and blows. Neither could get a significant advantage over the other as both wrestler's basics gave the other serious pause leading to wonderful exchanges of simple wrestling with counters galore. Yuki Nomura made a critical mistake several minutes into the match, as he attempted to hit Seiji Ebisawa with a backdrop suplex, only to have Seiji Ebisawa show off his wonderful technical abilities by subtly shifting his weight and locking Yuki Nomura in a choke sleeper as the original ace of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON lifted him! Several fans screamed for Nomura as he began to panic and wildly flail about in Ebisawa's crushing choke sleeper, but the experienced Seiji Ebisawa withstood Nomura's flailing, and like a anaconda simply slipped the choke in further. Nomura began to visibly fade as his body slowly collapsed due to the lack of oxygen. However, the hero of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON refused to give up. Nomura grabbed onto the referee and began to rip away at his clothes in desperation to pull himself to the ropes. The referee broke free, and Nomura collapsed with Ebisawa hanging on tightly around his neck. Thunderous calls of Nomura rang out from the 3,000 fans in attendance as Nomura gave one final lunge with his arm...and managed to land his hand on the bottom rope forcing the break! Ebisawa immediately covered Nomura, but Nomura kicked out at 2.9 to keep his dreams alive! Seiji Ebisawa paused, catching his own breath after putting everything he had into the choke sleeper as Yuki Nomura groggily grabbed onto the ropes in a desperation attempt to pull himself to his feet, only to collapse back down in a heap as the calls of his name grew louder. Having caught his breath, Seiji Ebisawa coolly and with a cold edge attacked the heavily wounded Yuki Nomura with stomps, targeting Nomura's upper body and neck region to further weaken Nomura. Nomura put up no resistance as Ebisawa stomped away at Nomura. Seiji Ebisawa lifted Nomura, whose knees immediately buckled forcing Ebisawa to hold him up...Ebisawa hooked Nomura and planted him with an exploder suplex before covering, but Yuki Nomura showed the resilience that's made him the staple of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON since day one and kicked out at two! Ebisawa waited for Yuki Nomura to stand back up before blasting him in the back of the head with a kneel kick of all things, before planting him with his Powerbomb Hold! The crowd counted along, but Yuki Nomura kicked out at 2.9!! Yuki Nomura appeared to be a broken man as he slowly pulled himself up to his feet as Seiji Ebisawa coolly watched him. The fan's cries in desperation and fear were lost on Nomura as he stumbled towards Seiji Ebisawa AND RIGHT INTO THE SPIRIT FINALE!
The crowd ROARED in fear as Seiji Ebisawa slammed Yuki Nomura to the mat with full extension on the choke sleeper! Yuki Nomura threw his hand all about, trying desperately to grab onto anything, to anyone to keep his dream alive in his home promotion, but there was nothing left for Nomura to grab onto in the center of the ring. The movements of Nomura's arms became more and more sluggish, and his reaction time to the referee's call of “GIVE UP” became more and more subdued until there was virtually no movement whatsoever. The referee was poised to signal for the bell, but Seiji Ebisawa let the hold go and covered Yuki Nomura. The crowd was silent for the count as the count rang down BUT EXPLODED AS YUKI NOMURA KICKED OUT AT 2.9!!
Seiji Ebisawa sat on the mat in stunned disbelief, as life soared through Nomura again. The crowd responded to Nomura's unwavering display of heart with deafening cheers and chants of his name. Ebisawa looked around at the crowd, who had been split fifty fifty, who had now turned on him in favor of his opponent. Ebisawa slowly lifted the body of Yuki Nomura and prepared him for a second Powerbomb Hold...Ebisawa lifted Nomura BUT NOMURA COUNTERED WITH A SNAP FRANKENSTEINER!Ebisawa was spiked on his head and rolled out of the ring. Yuki Nomura used the ropes to pull himself up to his feet before running AND DIVING ONTO EBISAWA WITH A PLANCHA! Both men crashed and burned on the ground, but Yuki Nomura CONTINUED to pull himself up to his feet, seemingly no longer using his own strength, but the strength of his heart alone! Nomura threw Ebisawa into the ring, and screamed with all his heart at the fans. Ebisawa stood up, and was met with BRUTAL elbow strikes to the side of his head! The crowd rolled with every blow, but Yuki Nomura changed things up by suddenly grabbing Ebisawa and hitting the SHUKUEN! The crowd roared as Nomura covered Ebisawa, but Ebisawa showed his own tenacity by kicking out at two! Nomura responded by grabbing Ebisawa's head and HEADBUTTING EBISAWA! A small cut opened up on Nomura's head from his actions, but Nomura seemed to not feel it at all! Nomura lifted Ebisawa, hooked him and PLANTED HIM WITH THE TWISTED ANGEL DRIVER! Nomura covered, and the crowd counted along...BUT SEIJI EBISAWA KICKED OUT AT 2.9!!! Both men laid on the mat exhausted, but both struggled to their feet at the same time and began to elbow each other, testing their manhood and their desires against each other to finally determine once and for all who was the strongest between them. Nomura landed an elbow combination before landing a rolling back elbow right to the jaw of Ebisawa! The lights went out almost immediately for Ebisawa, and Nomura SLAMMED him to the ground with another Twisted Angel Driver! Nomura hooked both legs and leaned onto Ebisawa with everything he had as the fans counted along...AS YUKI NOMURA BESTED SEIJI EBISAWA!!!
The crowd roared with chants of Nomura, as their hero reigned supreme over Seiji Ebisawa for the last time in their careers! The severity of what they had seen slowly began to sink in for the fans, and a small Ebisawa chant grew into a thunderous once as both Yankizoku and AVENIR poured into the ring to tend to their leaders. After several minutes of helping both men up, Seiji Ebisawa and Yuki Nomura both took microphones...Seiji Ebisawa was introspective, saying that he had felt this once before and couldn't believe he had it happen again...but Ebisawa added, that this time unlike when Goro Iijima had done it, Nomura had beaten him fair with skill. He had given the battle everything he could have ever given Nomura, and that now he could look forward with no more regrets in his life...Nomura had nothing but praise for Ebisawa, calling him a wonderful pro-wrestler, with even better skills then himself. Ebisawa asked why it is that Nomura had beaten him if he (Ebisawa) was the better wrestler? Nomura replied that while Ebisawa was the better pro-wrestler, that he (Nomura) loved Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON more then his own life itself, and while there was a shred of chance left, he would never have been beaten tonight! Ebisawa paused, before accepting Nomura's explanation and then asked for a handshake! Ebisawa told Nomura that tonight would be new chapters for both of them, and said that they should never look back at the choices they've made, or the mistake's they've made and from now on should simply look forward for the life that lays ahead of them both! Nomura agreed, and the two rivals shook hands for the last time to a roaring round of cheers! Before he left, Ebisawa asked “President-san” if he could come to an upcoming Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON event to tie up loose ends with Yankizoku. Nomura briefly considered, but then agreed to Ebisawa's request saying that he would allow him to appear one more time in a Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ring in a non-wrestling role. This pleased Ebisawa, who nodded in agreement before leaving the ring...
Yuki Nomura turned his attention to the fans, telling them with a tremble in his voice that even when all hope had been lost, he had “felt their voices” lifting him back up, and giving him thanks. Nomura promised that 2009 would not only be a banner year for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, but also for himself as he aims to take back the C-1 Heavyweight Championship! Nomura bowed and thanked the fans profusely to a loud call of “Nomura!” before leaving the ring...
A brief cool down period took place, allowing the fans to have room to breath in after what they had just seen take place. The ring announcer suddenly announced that there were “Special Guests” for the main event! The crowd began to buzz, as the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON theme began to play. Unsurprisingly, one of the guests was the trainer of the two men in the main event, Ryo Suzuki who was given a special ringside seat to watch the match up close. Shockingly, however, was the second guest who revealed himself to be YOSHIAKI MATSUDA FROM PRO-WRESTLING DYNAMITE! The crowd responded to Matsuda with a mixture of cheers and jeers stemming from earlier events with Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE wrestlers. The two were allowed time to speak...Ryo Suzuki said that he couldn't be more proud of his two students praising both their strengths and insisting that he wanted to see a wonderful match that displays everything they've learned! Yoshiaki Matsuda spoke next, with many fans giving out calls of Matsuda...Yoshiaki was to the point, saying that he was here to evaluate the two main event wrestlers, and announced his full intentions to wrestle the winner for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship to a loud reaction from the fans! Having said his piece, Matsuda, with Ryo Suzuki then calmly took his seat at ringside as the video package began to play...
Much like Ebisawa and Nomura, the video package for Toyota versus Shimizu highlighted mainly around their history in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Nobuyori Shimizu's status as the original Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON graduate in 2002, his ascension to the role of tag team kingpin with Toshiro Noguchi. Finishing second in the 2007 Power Source tournament, being the first man to score a victory over Tatsumichi Akamatsu by pinning his opponent tonight, Akuma Toyota for the C-1 Tag Championship. A large portion of the piece was devoted to Shimizu's reoccurring shoulder injury, and how he's tried to make the best he can out of it...A brief buffer before Toyota's piece showed off clips from every single C-1 Heavyweight Championship capture ending with Akuma Toyota's besting of Seiji Ebisawa in October. Toyota's part of the piece focused on his reign as the BLACKHEART second under Tatsumichi Akamatsu, showing clips of him winning the C-1 Tag Team Championships twice, finishing in the semi finals of 2007 Power Source, and the finals of the 2008 Power Source before clips of him winning the C-1 Heavyweight Championship were shown along with his rejection of Akamatsu's beliefs. The package ended with a still photo taken from a recent Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON event with Akuma Toyota holding up the C-1 Heavyweight Championship in front of Nobuyori Shimizu's face...
“Ikiru koto to Mitsuketari” began to play, bringing out the challenger Nobuyori Shimizu to warm reaction from the burned out CRIMSON fans in attendance. Shimizu was flanked by STRONGEST member Hayato Saigo, and surprisingly Toshiro Noguchi who Shimizu has had problems with...Noguchi, who has been with Shimizu for most of his young career evidently made the decision to be with Shimizu for this final hurdle of his career. Shimizu was nervous, and anxious as he waited for his golden chance that he had never had before in his career despite always being the “golden child” of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Yuki Nomura, Tetsuhiro Kaneda, Seiji Ebisawa, Stephen Priest, Goro Iijima, Tatsumichi Akamatsu, and Akuma Toyota. Nobuyori Shimizu wanted more then anything to join these men in the ranks of those who have held the C-1 Heavyweight Championship on this night! Shimizu threw up his hands to a positive reaction before the lights dimmed once again to bring out the champion...
“God of War Arise” began to play, as the fans responded with a mixed reaction. Many CRIMSON faithful still haven't forgiven Toyota for his role in the BLACKHEARTS, and still many more resent his quick ascension. However, the C-1 Heavyweight Champion, who has evolved at a staggering rate seemed to not care at all. In his mind, the Mohawk sporting champion knew he was the man in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and he played the part with the championship around his waist proudly. Toyota was flanked by the reborn Millennium S.K. And Shuji Kawashima, evidently having split STRONGEST with Nobuyori Shimizu. Once in the ring, Toyota placed the C-1 Heavyweight Championship on the mat between himself and Shimizu, showing the line that they would be crossing tonight...The fans who were initially almost apathetic began to buzz with excitement as the official title declaration was read by Mimura in Nomura's stead. Nobuyori Shimizu, the challenger was treated as the hero of CRIMSON with a loud positive response. While the champion Akuma Toyota was greeted by a mixed reaction between those who dislike him, and those that appreciate his strength. With the formalities aside, the bell rang to begin the C-1 Heavyweight Championship match, and the main event of DUE TIME!
Akuma Toyota stepped forward immediately into the center of the ring, and motioned for Shimizu to do the same. Shimizu seemed caught off guard by Toyota's brazen tactics, as he openly invited Shimizu to come to him. After a few seconds of goading, Shimizu responded to Toyota's challenge by walking towards him...only to be BLASTED by a blatant closed fist punch to the face! The crowd roared in disapproval, as Shimizu crumbled to the mat from the blow. Toyota shook his fist, evidently having hurt it some by cold-cocking Shimizu in the jaw. However, the C-1 Heavyweight Champion poured on the pressure on his challenger by blatantly choking him in front of the referee to earn more jeers from the crowd! Several fans in the crowd began to chant for Shimizu, which gained steam until half the audience was chanting for the challenger...However, the other half of the fans began to chant for Toyota creating a unique mixed chant situation. Toyota continued to try and make the decision of who to cheer for easier by coldly stomping away at Shimizu before dropping a few elbows and covering, however, the challenger kicked out at two with force! Nobuyori Shimizu appeared to be less then amused by the huge welt growing on the side of his head from Toyota's punch as he fired away with rapid fire elbows to the side of his head. Shimizu attempted to follow it up with his running elbow but Toyota simply lifted his boot and Shimizu crushed into it, knocking himself out of the fight.
Akuma Toyota proved to be a smart champion, as he realized his obvious advantages very early in the match. Despite Shimizu's fire and desire, there was a significant size disadvantage with Toyota having several inches and many pounds over Shimizu. Toyota angered the audience by leaning on Shimizu with all his weight, while using his wrist tape to rake at Shimizu's eyes. The C-1 Heavyweight Champion showed that unlike other champions in the history of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, he wasn't afraid to do whatever he felt was needed to retain his championship! Shimizu would fight back, angered by Toyota's tactics, but the much larger champion would club Shimizu back down to earth with brutal efficiency. Eventually, Shimizu figured out Toyota's game plan, and countered with his own. When Toyota went to lift the wounded Shimizu, Shimizu suddenly grabbed Toyota's legs and tripped him before applying a leg lock! Shimizu pulled at Toyota's massive leg with everything he had, with the intent to wound Toyota's legs severely and lessen his power base for later in the match. Toyota showed a critical weakness to Shimizu's technical wizardry as he simply tried to power out of Shimizu's attacks and holds, but the smaller Nobuyori Shimizu would expertly avoid Toyota's bursts of power and continue to wreck havoc on Toyota's legs. At one point Shimizu resorted to wrapping Toyota's tree-like limb around a ring post with a modified figure four!
The match picked up the pace briefly as Akuma Toyota finally managed to create separation between himself and Shimizu and climbed to his feet. Once there, Toyota threw a massive lariat, only to have Shimizu dodge behind him! With split second timing, Shimizu picked up Toyota and dumped him on his head with a release German suplex! Toyota rolled to his feet, and Shimizu charged at Toyota, but the C-1 Heavyweight Champion showed ring presence as in one motion he dodged, grabbed Shimizu, and SLAMMED him into the ring post through the ropes! Shimizu began to scream in pain and hold onto his well documented bad shoulder! Toyota, despite the cruel tactics he had taken in the match seemed resistant to attacking Shimizu's shoulder as his stablemate screamed in pain and clutched at his shoulder. Finally, the ring doctor had seen enough and rushed to the ring to check on Shimizu's shoulder. The crowd booed slightly, expecting the match to be stopped, but many in the crowd called out in concern for Shimizu. The ring doctor, having checked on Shimizu's arm began to talk to the referee, who made a motion to call the match, but Shimizu grabbed onto the referee and began to plead with him to keep the match going! The ring doctor told Shimizu that if he continued to wrestle, he could risk permanent damage to his shoulder, but Nobuyori Shimizu showed the heart that he's become known for and insisted that he wanted the match to continue! With tears in his eyes, Shimizu screamed that he would rather die then have the match thrown out! With no other recourse, the ring doctor left the ring and the referee allowed the match to continue!
As soon as the referee stepped away from Shimizu, Akuma Toyota pounced. Toyota was angered by Shimizu's refusal to do the right thing, and decided he was going to fulfill the doctor's threat as he immediately began to rip and tear away at Nobuyori Shimizu's injured shoulder. Shimizu's cries of pain echoed throughout the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium, as the fans grew more and more concerned for Shimizu's well being. At ringside, Hayato Saigo was clutching the towel he had brought to the ring with both hands, anxious and worried for his stablemate. Shimizu fought back with one arm, landing short elbows to Toyota's midsection, but Toyota clubbed Shimizu back down and applied a Fujiwara Armbar to Shimizu's arm! The fan's screams and the screams of Nobuyori Shimizu mixed together as the agonizing hold was put on!
Shimizu frantically tried to pull himself to the ropes, but Toyota's massive size made it so Shimizu could only turn in place. Shimizu ended up facing his corner as Hayato Saigo and Toshiro Noguchi looked on pensively. Toyota used all of his massive power to wrench up violently on Shimizu's arm, causing the challenger to scream in pain. Saigo suddenly put the towel in one hand and began to throw it into the ring but Shimizu's begging screams of “No!” caused the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion to pause! Shimizu, despite the pain from the hold was screaming at Saigo to not throw in the towel with as much fury and power as he could muster despite the pain. Shimizu began to cry from the pain he was in, as the crowd swelled with chants of his name. The big screen captured the tears streaming down his face out of frustration, anger, and pain. Despite Shimizu's pleading, Saigo threw the towel into the ring...BUT IN MID AIR TOSHIRO NOGUCHI GRABBED IT! Shimizu stared at his old partner from NGI with almost a dumbfounded look despite the immense pain. Noguchi stared at Shimizu for a second before he THREW THE TOWEL INTO THE CROWD! Noguchi turned towards his old friend, and screamed “FIGHT!” and began to pound the mat in tune to the chants of Shimizu's name. Shimizu's face changed hearing his old friend's words, as he suddenly fought with renewed vigor. The tears on his face began to dry, Shimizu's face became red like the sun as he fought to free his arm. Akuma Toyota, having seen virtually none of this simply tried to apply more pressure to the arm, but Shimizu seemed to have almost shut out the pain as he thrust his limbs all around to reach the ropes. After what seemed like an agonizing minute, Shimizu finally placed his foot on the rope, gaining the well needed reprieve! The fans roared at Shimizu's courage as Toyota simply stood up to continue his assault.
Toyota pulled up Nobuyori Shimizu, whose shoulder dangled in a sight that was all too familiar for his fans, causing several females in the crowd to shriek in terror at the sight. However, Shimizu wasn't ready to give up as he threw several elbow blows with his only working arm, however, Toyota cut him off with a knee strike that doubled over Shimizu. Toyota hooked Shimizu up and then planted him with a powerbomb...but Toyota showed off his frightening power as he deadlifted Shimizu back up for a SECOND powerbomb! Toyota held onto the hold this time, as the count rang down...but Shimizu kicked out at two! The crowd cheered Shimizu's kick out, but it only led to more immediate pain as Toyota dropped two elbows before actually trying to apply a KEYLOCK to Shimizu's wounded arm, however Shimizu wisely put his foot on the ropes nearly immediately to free himself from the champion's grasp. Toyota backed off as the referee requested, and waited for Shimizu to stand back up on his two feet before he charged and DECAPITATED Shimizu with a lariat! Toyota covered, hooking both legs but Shimizu kicked out at two! Now Toyota was showing frustration, as his lariat that has defeated many wrestlers in CRIMSON refused to work. Toyota responded by simply doing it again, CRUSHING Shimizu with a second one! AGAIN Shimizu kicked out much to the chagrin of Toyota, and the joy of Shimizu's fans!
Shimizu pulled himself to his knees using his one good arm and the ropes, however Toyota wasn't about to wait as Toyota made a slit throat motion with his hand before lifting Shimizu up to his feet. Toyota hooked Shimizu as if for a doctor bomb but gave it the extra spin for the move called the AKUMA ICHIMONJI! Shimizu was CRUSHED into the ground as Toyota held onto the move as the referee counted...BUT NOBUYORI SHIMIZU KICKED OUT AT TWO POINT NINE TO AN EXPLOSION OF CHEERS!
A completely dumbfounded look crossed Akuma Toyota's face as he stared at the nearly broken body of Nobuyori Shimizu, who refused to give in with everything he had in his very soul. The crowd let loose with a unanimous chant of Shimizu's name, but the challenger wasn't moving. Having used every ounce of the power left in his body, Shimizu had nothing left to move with. Toyota coldly pulled Shimizu to his feet before beheading him with a short lariat! However, that wasn't enough for the C-1 Heavyweight Champion! Toyota pulled Shimizu back to his feet, and this time lined up a charging lariat. Toyota charged forward but Shimizu collapsed, and Toyota careened into the turnbuckle! The C-1 Heavyweight Champion stumbled out of the corner holding his chest, but the challenger Nobuyori Shimizu wasn't there to follow it up as he was slowly pulling himself up. Toyota recovered first, and aimed for a lariat but Shimizu used all his energy to duck under and hit a one arm German Suplex! Toyota bounced on the back of his head, but roared in anger and pulled himself immediately back up to his feet! Shimizu was there, as he NAILED Toyota as he stood up with a running elbow blow! Both men collapsed with Shimizu on top with his body sprayed out in all directions as the count rang down...BUT TOYOTA KICKED OUT! Both men laid on the ground...Shimizu's body was broken, but Toyota looked to have almost been legitimately knocked out from the elbow so both were on even ground. The crowd didn't see it that way, with many fans screaming at Shimizu to stand back up. Noguchi on the outside of the ring was trying desperately to get Shimizu's attention while screaming “CHANCE!” at his former best friend. Unsurprisingly it was Akuma Toyota who stood up first, as Shimizu simply couldn't get his body to respond. Toyota pulled Shimizu to his feet by his hair, but Nobuyori Shimizu suddenly responded with a lightning fast Inside cradle! The crowd began screaming as Toyota tried to fight out of the hold and managed to kick out...BUT THE REFEREE'S HAND HIT THE MAT FOR THE THIRD TIME!
Fans began LEAPING out of their seats in the crowd as Nobuyori Shimizu had cradled Akuma Toyota for the three count and for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship! Chants of “SHIMIZU” rang out in the Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium while Toshiro Noguchi began to wildly throw a party at ringside. However, things calmed down significantly as the referee frantically was motioning that HIS HAND NEVER HIT THE MAT! AKUMA TOYOTA HAD KICKED OUT! The crowd deflated while Noguchi began SCREAMING abuse at the referee. Meanwhile, Toyota had bounded to his feet, and was stomping away at Shimizu with furious anger at Shimizu's almost win. With the referee distracted by Noguchi's screaming, Toyota began to viciously choke his stable mate in murderous rage. The crowd quickly got back into the match as they chanted for Shimizu to legitimately win the championship with fury! Toyota lost any semblance of championship pride as he flipped the fans off in his anger, which only netted him more jeers. Toyota grabbed Shimizu and nailed him with a short lariat. However, one wasn't enough as Toyota began to nail Short lariat after short lariat on Shimizu. A total of SEVEN such lariats were hit before Toyota covered Shimizu, however Shimizu AGAIN kicked out at two point nine!
Toyota began to almost pull the hair out of his head as he almost couldn't think of anything he could hit Nobuyori Shimizu with to keep the man down. The building was deafening with chants for Shimizu, but the challenger was in no condition to do anything but simply survive. Toyota turned his attention back to Shimizu's damaged arm, and attempted to reapply a Fujiwara armbar, but Shimizu suddenly rolled out of the move and caught the surprised Toyota with an ENZUIGIRI of all things! Toyota's head was rang like a bell, and the champion staggered. Shimizu immediately grabbed onto Toyota and hooked him for his trump card, the Thunder-Fire Powerbomb! Shimizu began to lift the C-1 Heavyweight Champion, but the massive girth of the champion gave Shimizu problems. However, Nobuyori Shimizu once again showed off his never dying spirit as he managed to lift Toyota! However, Shimizu's arm gave out, causing Toyota to CAREEN INTO THE MAT UNCONTROLLABLY WITH HIS HEAD CRASHING INTO IT SIDEWAYS! The crowd went silent as it almost looked like Toyota may have broken his neck. Shimizu collapsed against the ropes before he collapsed onto Toyota! The crowd counted along with the count...BUT AKUMA TOYOTA KICKED OUT!!
Shimizu sat on the mat...and began to shake his fist in tune to the chants of the crowd, feeling their energy within him! Shimizu pumped his fist and then pulled Toyota to his feet. Shimizu grabbed Toyota to attempt the Thunder-Fire Powerbomb again, but suddenly, the C-1 Heavyweight Champion reared up, lifting Shimizu up! Toyota grabbed onto Shimizu's legs, and THREW HIM back into the mat with a thunderous impact! Shimizu attempted to immediately stand back up, but Toyota BEHEADED him with a running lariat! The crowd shrieked in fear as Toyota made the slit throat motion again. However, he lifted the near dead-weight of Shimizu onto his shoulder instead of in a doctor bomb position for the Akuma Ichimonji. Instead in a Canadian Backbreaker position. The crowd was confused by what Toyota was going for... Akuma then RAN WITH SHIMZIU ON HIS SHOULDER AND GAVE SHIMIZU A REVERSE EMERALD FROSION SENDING SHIMIZU”S SKULL CRASHING TO THE MAT! Female fans SCREAMED in terror as Shimizu's skull landed at an awkward angle, and the challenger was forced to his knees from the impact. Shimizu's body appeared to have locked up, as his face simply stared into space and he was unmoving. Toyota pushed Shimizu onto his back with his foot, and covered Shimizu and FINALLY was granted the uncontested three count to successfully retain his championship!
The ring was filled with people post-match. STRONGEST members Hayato Saigo, Millennium S.K., and Shuji Kawashima all gathered in the ring to check on both their members, while Toshiro Noguchi propped Shimizu's head on his knees and tended to his best friend. Ryo Suzuki came into the ring both to applaud Toyota, but also to check on his student Shimizu. At ring side, Yoshiaki Matsuda was politely applauding Akuma Toyota's victory, but made no motion to go into the ring. After several minutes, Shimizu finally came to. He looked up and saw Noguchi cradling him, and was audibly heard to have asked if he had won the match...Noguchi, with tears in his eyes, called Shimizu's effort the bravest thing he had ever seen in his life...The title presentation took place as Shimizu's body was helped out of the ring, with special care taken for his neck and shoulder...Toyota was presented with his championship and trophy to a surprisingly warm reaction from the fans despite how the match had gone...Toyota took a microphone, and managed to choke out that he was “ashamed” of himself for using the tactics he had used, but that he couldn't believe how strong Nobuyori Shimizu had been. Toyota then declared that regardless if you liked, or hated him, that tonight he had proven that he was Strongest in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was the strongest in the world! Toyota then thanked the fans for coming to the show, and promptly collapsed in the ring until he was given help...
