Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 7/18/08 ~ News & Notes

A major press conference was called by Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON president Kazushi Mimura to speak on several subjects.

The first, was the return of two Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON wrestlers...as on the same event, Sojiro Sayuki and Ryosei Royama will make their returns! The event will be a special stand alone show at Tokyo Korakuen Hall on August 6th. Royama, who exiled himself for a month will return for a special "Revive the HEROICS" tag match on the show. Mimura announced that before the event, Ryosei Royama would have a special work out for the press and CRIMSON officials to demonstrate what he has learned in his one month "boot camp" like training with his teacher, Ryo Suzuki...

As for Sojiro Sayuki, he will make his return as part of a special one night four man tournament, to crown the first ever C-2 Openweight Champion! Mimura displayed the championship, and announced it as a "concept" championship...Many wrestlers, heavyweight and Junior-heavyweight in CRIMSON have been forced to the fringes due to overwhelming natures of the champions...but with this title, it will give wrestlers a chance to "level up" in fighting for it...The title is open to any weight class, and as such there will be two heavyweights and two Junior-Heavyweights in the one night tournament! Sojiro Sayuki will be in the tournament, as Mimura stated he is "anxious" to see what Sayuki has learned in Mexico these past months. As for the other three wrestlers, Mimura stated that in-between now and the 6th, they would be revealed...

The other announcement by Mimura was the FULL reveal of all the events Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will run between now and the 13th of October. The two tours confirmed are both experimental tours, which Mimura stated were hoped to "expand and strengthen the CRIMSON name" throughout Japan.

In August, the tour is called "BRAVE DESTINY in IWATE" and will feature seven events ALL taking place within the Prefecture of Iwate! Mimura stated that for too long, CRIMSON had focused on only a few cities within the Prefecture, and this tour was intended to help spread and improve CRIMSON's name throughout the Prefecture. No one town will get more then one show and Mimura hoped that this tour would make Iwate one of the "strongest centers for Pro-Wrestling in the world"...

The second tour announced, called "CROSSROADS '08" is likewise an experimental tour. Unlike the August series, the September series will take place ENTIRELY outside of Iwate! Mimura stated that he felt that running any more shows in Iwate would have been "diluting" the market there...The tour will see the first ever stops in Hokkaido and Tochigi for CRIMSON, as both have shows at the beginning and end of the tour, respectively. It is also one of the most massive tours that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has ever run, spanning the entire month of September and clocking in at ELEVEN cards! The tour ends with a two day event at Zepp Tokyo, the first time Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has ever run the venue. Mimura wouldn't state why the building was booked twice, but hinted that he may give control of one of the nights to another person...

The final event announced is the one most people knew about. On the 13th of October, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will hold it's 6th Anniversary event at Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium, the first time the venue will have been ran since June! Mimura stated that the Miyako fans have been the most loyal of all fans, and wanted to hold off on running the venue to make this special day seem all the bigger...This year's Anniversary will have a special name, as Mimura stated that he wanted to see a "full revival" of the history, legacy, and future of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and hinted that past CRIMSON wrestlers may make appearances...

Kazushi Mimura was prepared to give more details, when suddenly RYOMA INOUE barged into the press conference with Ichiyo Tatsuko in tow...Mimura angrily demanded to know why Inoue was there causing Inoue to profusely apologize before stealing the podium...Inoue began with grandiose speak, about how he was about to change the wrestling world forever...He cited many historically significant moments in history, before stating that today's announcement would surpass them all...With a grand flare, Inoue revealed that due to being the acting leader of the MILLENNIUM STARS...that before their six man match on the 27th...There would be a LIVE CONCERT for the fans in Iwate! Mimura ran up to the podium to deny the claim...but Inoue politely asked him to back away...before announcing that the performing artist would be...HIMSELF, Ryoma Inoue! A stunned silence fell over the press conference, with the only noise being Ichiyo Tatsuko's frantic clapping of approval. Inoue announced that his "Sex Symbol" character was dead, and that on the 27th, he would forge a fantastic new destiny for himself and all of Pro-Wrestling through his voice! Inoue then bowed, thanked the press and Mimura, and walked off half strutting with Tatsuko following.

With that, Mimura ended the press conference with a look of obvious confusion.
