Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 6/16/08 @ Iwate Town Training Center

Six days after their story as champions begun, the Backdrop Brothers faced their gravest challenge as pro-wrestlers in their short careers. Kenjiro Amagwa and Mikio Tsuruya charged into battle against the “elite” warriors of “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu’s BLACKHEARTS, Akuma Toyota and the traitor Goro Iijima. From the onset, the advantage laid with the challengers. Toyota, a former tag champion himself, and Iijima one of the few to hold the C-1 Heavyweight Championship controlled the large majority of the match. Amagawa and Tsuruya held on, as they took the beating of the fearsome fighters…They made a comeback, and fought bravely, however, their story was soon to come to a crashing halt…It would be Goro Iijima who scored the victory, as he landed the Kinan High Kick on Mikio Tsuruya to get the victory, and his first ever run with the C-1 Tag Team Championships! And made the Backdrop Brothers the shortest reigning champions in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON history… The crowd booed heavily, which enraged Akuma Toyota, who took a microphone and flew into a rage, insisting that since he’s from the Iwate Prefecture, that the fans should be supporting him…but the loyal CRIMSON fans just poured on more jeers despite his home status…Goro Iijima called their team the “strongest team” in Pro-Wrestling, and that this would be only step on to creating a new legacy that would fulfill the desire of Tatsumichi Akamatsu…Iijima offered an open invitation to any team in CRIMSON, or around the world to face them and stated that their goal as a team was to hold onto the championships until they retired! Backstage, the Backdrop Brothers were obviously disappointed, and called themselves “failures”…however; Yuki Nomura stepped in, and praised their strength and said that while they had lost this battle, the war was not over and they would have another chance to reaffirm themselves, cheering the two up visibly. Toyota said backstage that they had just completed “stage one” of this three stage fight for the BLACKHEARTS. The second stage would be Akamatsu and Iijima’s victory over Nomura and Ebisawa, and the third stage would be Toyota winning the IFS Openweight Championship to become the champion of Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE…
