Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ POWER SOURCE ~ 5/04/08 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium

Night two of the 2008’s itineration of the Power Source tournament began once again at the home base of CRIMSON of the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. In the main event, it was the BLACKHEARTS and NGI clashing once again, as Jake Bishop took on Toshiro Noguchi in singles competition…The two clashed in tag action just a few days ago in the tag team championship match…Tonight, it was the “Texas Outlaw” that came out victorious as he blasted Toshiro Noguchi with the Texan Bomber to end the long, drawn out battle for the two points.

Nobuyori Shimizu and his damaged right arm took to the ring against the largest wrestler in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Izumo Yoritomo in the semi final of the night…Yoritomo stayed true to his word, and never once targeted Shimizu’s damaged arm, but was clearly in control the entire contest…While Yoritomo never targeted Shimizu’s arm, Shimizu damaged himself further after missing a blind charge and driving himself shoulder first into the turnbuckle…However, Shimizu’s reckless move proved to be a bounty as he caught the concerned Yoritomo with a cradle, using Yoritomo’s own massive weight to pin himself to the mat for the three count fall! Despite being beaten, Yoritomo was surprisingly fine with the result, and even applauded Shimizu for his efforts…

Seiji Ebisawa made his first in-ring appearance for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON since January of 2007, as he took on the former “Super Rookie” of PROMO*JAPAN and ZION, and the current Backdrop Brother Kenjiro Amagawa in singles action. Surprisingly, the CRIMSON fans weren’t fully behind Ebisawa, and seemingly gave him a mixed reaction for some reason. Ebisawa looked in fantastic form as he grappled with his much younger opponent, but Amagawa showed his growth by not being overwhelmed by his senior’s strength…In the end, after a pitched battle, Amagawa was unable to keep up with Ebisawa and was put away with an Exploder for the three count…Ebisawa thanked the fans post-match, for reminding him that he had been gone too long and that he had to “earn their respect” once again.

Akuma Toyota made his in-tournament debut in the third tournament match of the night, absolutely crushing the Backdrop Brother Mikio Tsuruya. It wasn’t for a lack of effort from Tsuruya, but on his own, he was no match for the awesome power of Toyota, and eventually fell to a sickening lariat from the BLACKHEART’s Captain.

It was a great night for the young team of Hiroyuki Takano and Takayuki Ariwa, as both won their matches. Ariwa cracked the armor of the tank, Eisaku Shimura before putting him down with the Angelos. Takano took on the incredibly athletic Kawashima, but it was the refined skills of Takano that led him to victory with a snap-style Frankensteiner.
