A video message was sent to the offices of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in Miyako from Sweet Water, Texas earlier today containing a message from Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s only full time gaijin, and BLACKHEARTS member “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop. The message will be subtitled and aired during Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s upcoming GAORA special to hype up the 15th Sky PerfecTV! event…The video was set in a public park where Bishop stood in front of a water fountain and proceeded to rant in English for several minutes. Bishop ranted for some time about how he and “Toyota” would defeat Shimizu and Noguchi on the 27th, but that he wanted a special match on the 15th for the PPV…against the only man to hand him a direct pinfall loss in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, the three time C-1 Heavyweight Champion Yuki Nomura! Bishop said that he would get revenge for his only personal blemish on his record, while helping the BLACKHEARTS retake what was theirs. To do this, Bishop announced a new secret weapon, before pulling on a black glove! Bishop flexed his hand several times, before the big Texan closed his fist and declared that he and his “Texas Claw Hold” would hand the BLACKHEARTS a definitive victory in this war! Yuki Nomura has not sent word back, but it’s almost certain that the “Texas Outlaw” and the ace of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will face off in singles competition for the first time!
Several small details are beginning to leak out of the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON offices regarding the upcoming Power Source tournament that begins a month from now. The tournament will be the traditional two block round robin format (Every year has been two block style outside of 2005) and will see a four wrestler increase from last year, driving the total number of wrestlers in the tournament up to fourteen. The participants list is said to be complete, but there are rumors going around about demands that Tatsumichi Akamatsu is placing upon President Kazushi Mimura. The one that seems to be confirmed, is that Yuki Nomura will NOT be allowed in the Power Source…and if Goro Iijima loses to Akamatsu, he will also be barred from the tournament. Akamatsu is apparently using the threat of holding the C-1 Heavyweight Championship hostage to get his demands met, and is trying to keep Nomura out of the tournament because he’s already beaten him. The stakes for Goro Iijima’s 15th title shot have gotten even steeper, as if he fails to beat Akamatsu…He may never get another shot again.
Kazushi Mimura is expected to speak more in-depth on these rumors later on this month when the full list is revealed.
