The next challengers to “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu and Akuma Toyota’s C-1 Tag Team Championships were decided in the main event of today’s show at the Amarune Town Gymnasium. In the main event, three teams faced off in a rare departure from the usual tag matches, as the longest reigning tag champions in CRIMSON history, Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi took on the team of the Demon Breed, of Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito, and all four took on the team of the “Backdrop Brothers” of Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya. In the early stages of the match, the rules were virtually thrown out of the window as chaotic fighting sprung up all over the ring. When the dust had settled and the match began, Nobuyori Shimizu had taken the brunt of the assault. The Demon Breed and the Backdrop Brothers worked together for several minutes, until the Backdrop Brothers betrayed the Demon Breed and attacked them. The match once against devolved into another crazy brawl until the unlikely happened, as Amagawa grabbed Saito from behind and dumped him right on his head with a Backdrop! Tsuruya immediately lifted Saito and dropped him even further vertically on his head with a Backdrop Driver! Saito appeared to be completely unconscious, but Amagawa decided to play it safe as he hit Saito with a THIRD Backdrop, this time with a hold for the shocking elimination! This left the team of NGI against the Backdrop Brothers as the final two. The two teams went back and forth for another ten minutes, with the Backdrop Brothers showing improved skills by keeping the fight close…However, they failed to be able to eliminate both of their enemies as Shimizu and Noguchi made a comeback, before hitting the Tsuyosa Thunder Hammer on Tsuruya for the three count to become the number one contenders to the C-1 Tag Team Championships!
The semi final of the night saw an unlikely Rouzeki-GUN and N.G.I. team as Goro Iijima, Izumo Yoritomo and Takayuki Ariwa teamed up to take on the BLACKHEARTS of Akuma Toyota, Keiji Hirano, and “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop in six man action. Despite their faction differences, Iijima, Yoritomo, and Ariwa proved to be a very strong team as Iijima was able to land his Kinan High Kick on Hirano for the three count shortly after the fifteen minute mark…Goro Iijima had a cryptic comment for his opponent on the 19th, Tatsumichi Akamatsu…Iijima said that with Akamatsu’s actions to destroy Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, the “ghosts of CRIMSON” were coming back to life, and that a “demon” was on its way back to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Iijima then said that on the 19th, a new day would dawn, and Akamatsu would learn first hand why CRIMSON was not the promotion to begin his quest with…
The C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship match on the 19th continues to progress forward, albeit, without any dramatics. Tonight, Naoki Daishi teamed with Keoni Murata and Hayato Saigo to take on Akahito Yamada, Natsuo Sakoda, and MUSASHI Tomizaki. The result wasn’t really in question due to the sheer firepower on Daishi’s side, but Yamada, Sakoda, and Tomizaki put up a valiant fight against their opponents. However, Saigo was eventually able to spike Tomizaki on his head with a Brainbuster for the three count victory.
Eisaku Shimura made his Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON debut in the third match of the night against Ichiyo Tatsuko in an open-weight contest. This was not pretty. Shimura drawfed Tatsuko in every possible way, and brutalized the small junior with his chops that were described as “sickening”. Tatsuko, to his credit, attempted to fight back, but could do nothing against Shimura eventually leading to Shimura dropping Tatsuko with a thunderous powerbomb for the pinfall victory.
The war between MILLENNIUM STARS and HEROICS continued in the second match, as Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue took on Royama the Brave and DRAGON Takagi in tag action. Despite the hatred from both sides, without HANZO or Tomizaki, the two HEROICS members found themselves against a more unified team, leading to Inoue spiking Takagi with the Tomiko Special II for the pinfall victory.
