Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 2/04/08 ~ Nomura versus Akamatsu

After almost two months of build, the night finally came for The BLACKHEARTS and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to clash in the biggest match this year to culminate Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s first event shown on SKY PerfecTV! … However, before the main event began, the show began with a inter-weightclass match as Izumo Yoritomo was moved to the opening match for his actions, teaming with Daisuke Yamazaki to take on the thrown together team of Rui Kuriyama and Ichiyo Tatsuko. Nearly immediately into the match, Kuriyama ABANDONED Tatsuko, leaving him to fend off the two Rouzeki-GUN members. It didn’t take long before Yoritomo spiked Tatsuko on the back of his neck with a thunderous Nodowa-Otoshi for the pinfall victory. Kuriyama defended his decision to abandon Tatsuko in the back by calling the match “meaningless” and said that he was too focused on other events tonight…

The continued struggles between HEROICS and the MILLENNIUM STARS continued in the second match of the night in a fast paced sprint. Despite the speed of the match, there was a clear sense of hate between the two teams, and an urgency to finish the match as fast as possible. SLAYER and Takagi took themselves out of the match by clubbing each other as hard as possible and wandering to the back in doing so…Inoue and Royama began to whip each other into the ring and posts, as in the ring S.K. had firm control over Tomizaki. S.K. went for the Millennium Driver, but Tomizaki countered with a roll up…but S.K. kicked out at 2.9! S.K. immediately kicked Tomizaki as hard as he could in the face, and then wagged his finger in Tomizaki’s face as if to say “Not this time”! S.K. climbed to the top and went for his Millennium Star Crash, but Tomizaki got the knees up at the last second! S.K. got to his feet, holding his stomach and Tomizaki cradled him with the Samson Clutch for the flash three count AGAIN! S.K. was livid post match at being cradled once again by Tomizaki, but there was nothing he could do as HEROICS once again outsmarted the MILLENNIUM STARS! In a post-match interview, S.K. once again swore revenge…but couldn’t think of a suitable threat due to being flustered.

In all the hoopla over the main event on the show, the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight title match between Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada has been overshadowed…but the four men in the third match went at each other tooth and nail, for the first time of the tour, neither Daishi or Yamada held back on each other in the slightest which resulted in a dramatic contest between Naoki Daishi and Keoni Murata against Akahito Yamada and Natsuo Sakoda. At one point, Yamada locked Daishi in his Crossface of Yamada, but Daishi used his technical skills to roll backwards in the hold, and get his legs on the bottom rope. Despite their interaction, the end of the match came down to Murata and Sakoda, and the two fought on even ground until Sakoda went for a flying cross body, but Murata easily avoided it. As soon as Sakoda stood, he was nailed with two Enzuigiri’s and then a Backdrop Hold for the flash three count victory! After the match, Yamada took a microphone, and reminded the fans that later this month, he would take on Daishi for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship at Korakuen Hall, and say that this was his destiny to be the champion! Daishi left without saying anything, but seemed to be upset by Yamada’s statement…

No one benefited from the match reshuffling as much as Hayato Saigo, who went from the opening match to the fourth of the night. Saigo teamed with the Backdrop Brothers of Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya against N.G.I. of Nobuyori Shimizu, Toshiro Noguchi, and Takayuki Ariwa in six man action. Most of the match was dominated by N.G.I., however, the team of the Backdroop Brothers and Saigo wouldn’t go down without a fight, and kept the match competitive despite the large difference in standing and power. In end, despite their best efforts, Tsuruya was put down by Nobuyori Shimizu and a running elbow shot directly to the face for the pinfall victory.

Rouzeki-GUN and the BLACKHEARTS clashed in the semi main event of the night in a chaotic match up. All six men tore into each other brutally with Iijima and Toyota in particular being brutal with each other, and both men began to bleed heavily from the battle. Keiji Hirano and Makoto Saito actually had a wrestling match amidst all the chaos around them, with Saito showing off his rarely used submission skills to keep up against the fast and furious pace that Hirano was letting down. However, it wouldn’t be Saito or Iijima that would let the team down, but instead Tenshin Komatsu! Komatsu and Toyota squared off at the end of the contest, and Komatsu looked like a beaten man as he threw shots at Toyota, until Toyota finally caught a leg during a kick, picked up Komatsu and HURLED him into the mat! Saito attempted to intervene, but Bishop took him out of the equation with a Texan Bomber to the back! Komatsu was then hit with a horribly violent Lariat by Toyota, and covered for the surprisingly easy three count! Post match, Akuma Toyota took a microphone, and insulted Rouzeki-GUN, saying that they hadn’t kept up to pace with him. Iijima seethed with rage, but Komatsu seemed distracted… After the BLACKHEARTS left, Iijima SLAPPED Komatsu, and demanded to know where his head has been at! Komatsu replied that his mind was here…but his heart wasn’t. Iijima looked visibly annoyed, turned to Saito and told him to “Deal with him” before storming out of the ring leaving Saito and Komatsu to leave the ring together.

The moment had finally arrived. After nearly two months of buildup, the hero of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, one of the few wrestlers that have been with CRIMSON since day one on 10/13/02, and the only man to ever hold the C-1 Heavyweight Championship three times faced the greatest challenge he’s ever had…the greatest challenge anyone in CRIMSON has ever had: Tatsumichi Akamatsu. The lights at the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium fell, and a wave of excitement went through the over-packed arena. A single light appeared in the ring, and the ring announcer announced the challenger. An explosion of jeers and boos through out from the crowd, as the single most hated man to ever step into a Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ring appeared to “Engines of AKI” and flanked by the entire BLACKHEARTS squad, the “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu! Some fans took it upon themselves to show their anger at Akamatsu’s intrusion by actually throwing garbage at the once beloved figure, but even as they hit Akamatsu, he gave them no mind. Akamatsu stalked to the ring, with a look in his eyes of sheer determination. To prove his theory right, that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was weak, and only he could force them to evolve into something better…Once Akamatsu settled himself in his corner, with Toyota and Kuriyama on the apron with him, the lights dimmed again, and another wave went through the crowd. For five years, these fans had watched Yuki Nomura change, and become one of the strongest in Japan, and now it was the time for him to reach the next level…”Glory” began to play, and near deafening calls of his name rang from the faithful as Yuki Nomura, the face of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and the C-1 Heavyweight Champion walked to the ring, and like Akamatsu, he was not alone. Along with Nomura were N.G.I., of Nobuyori Shimizu, Takayuki Ariwa, and Toshiro Noguchi! Once Nomura entered the ring, the two warriors locked in a hate filled stare down, as the title presentation began. After it had ended, a buzz came from the crowd, which culminated when the bell finally rang, to bring the biggest match in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to its beginning!

Loud calls of Nomura’s name registered as the two wrestlers circled each other, neither one wanting to make a mistake. It would be Nomura who charged first, but was met immediately by a Tatsumichi Akamatsu slap to the face! Boos rang from the crowd as Nomura stumbled to the ropes clutching his face, already some swelling beginning to occur from just one slap…They circled some more, but Akamatsu suddenly stopped and walked towards Nomura…Nomura stopped as well, and prepared himself, but was caught again as Akamatsu once again SLAPPED Nomura! Nomura again went against the ropes holding his cheek, as Akamatsu began to laugh at Nomura! Akamatsu then barked out “Is this all you have?!”…Nomura looked at Akamatsu for a second, and slowly a steely determination set in his eyes. Akamatsu went for a third slap when Nomura came near, but this time Nomura dodged and then BLASTED Akamatsu with a horribly vicious elbow shot directly to the side of the head! Akamatsu reared back from the blow, but Nomura grabbed onto his head and began to elbow him over and over with the same sickeningly hard blows! The crowd began to cheer each strike louder then the last, until finally, Nomura let go out of exhaustion, but STILL Akamatsu didn’t fall! He groggily stepped back and forth; his head going in every direction unable to hold it up…Nomura sized him up and then NAILED him with another elbow blow, and AKAMATSU FELL! Fans leaped from their seats as for the first time in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Tatsumichi Akamatsu was taken off his feet!! Akamatsu rolled to the floor, and the BLACKHEARTS ran around the ring to tend to him. Akamatsu laid on the floor, holding his head as his soldiers tended to him, which included being fanned by Kuriyama… Nomura rested on the second turnbuckle opposite them, and slowly worked out the kinks that had built up in his arm…At the count of fifteen, Akamatsu pulled himself up to the apron, but Nomura sprinted across the ring and nailed Akamatsu with a dropkick, sending him flying to the floor again! Nomura didn’t stop there, and waited for Akamatsu to pull himself up to his feet, before LAUNCHING himself onto Akamatsu with a Plancha, as calls of Nomura’s name rung out! Nomura pulled himself to his feet, only to have Akuma Toyota BLAST him with a Lariat! This triggered a RIOT as N.G.I. charged across the ring, and the two sides began to fight all over the ring area. Tatsumichi Akamatsu was the first to pull himself in the ring, still on unsteady ground from Nomura’s assault…However, he had the presence of mind to BLAST Nomura in the face as he climbed in with a kick! Nomura collapsed to the mat clutching his face, and the tide had shifted to a chorus of boos!

Akamatsu covered Nomura after he pulled him out of the ropes, but Nomura kicked out at two, showing that despite his face seemingly needing surgery, he was far from out of the fight yet! Akamatsu responded by grabbing Nomura and locking him in a torture crab, putting his own knee on Nomura’s head and yanking back as far as he possibly could! Nomura struggled in the hold, and finally was able to get his hand on the bottom rope to break it…Nomura struggled to his feet, and landed several elbows to Akamatsu’s midsection, but Akamatsu ignored the blows, and began to knee Nomura directly in the face! Nomura took two crushing shots, and his body went seemingly limp…Akamatsu posed over Nomura to another chorus of jeers, before picking up Nomura, and lifting him for a powerbomb…ONLY TO HAVE NOMURA COUNTER WITH A FRANKENSTEINER! The crowd leapt to their feet and counted along, but Akamatsu kicked out at 2.5! Akamatsu sprung to his face, and LEVELED Nomura with a running kick to the face before Nomura had time to react! Akamatsu once again picked Nomura up, and this time there was no counter to the VICIOUS powerbomb from Akamatsu! Akamatsu held on to the move for a pinfall attempt, but Nomura kicked out at 2.5…only to have Akamatsu hold onto his legs and turn it back into a torture crab variation! The crowd began to chant Nomura’s name to keep him in the fight, as he began to strain and fight with Akamatsu’s 265+ pound frame laying on him…After a long struggle, Nomura was able to finally reach the ropes and keep himself in the match! Akamatsu lifted Nomura, and whipped him into the ropes, then tried to nail him on the rebound with a jumping high kick…but Nomura dodged out of the way at the last second, and kept his stride! Nomura bounced off the ropes, and then nailed the rising Akamatsu with ANOTHER elbow shot to the face! Akamatsu didn’t fall, and instead slumped forward…Nomura took advantage and hooked Akamatsu for a VICIOUS Jumping DDT, covering for only a two count!

Both men were slow to rise, and the two engaged in a striking battle. Akamatsu landed horribly violent chops and kicks, but Nomura responded with equally vicious elbow shots to Akamatsu’s head! Akamatsu actually stepped backward, stunned, and NOMURA RESPONDED WITH A ROLLING ELBOW SHOT TO THE FACE! Nomura covered…but AGAIN Akamatsu kicked out before the three count! Nomura looked out to the crowd, and signaled to an incredible response from the crowd! Nomura picked up Akamatsu, struggling with his weight and NAILED him with the Shukuen! Akuma Toyota jumped onto the apron, but Nobuyori Shimizu yanked him down which caught the referee’s attention. Nomura looked for the pin, but was suddenly spun around from behind by RUI KURIYAMA who hit Nomura with the Kuri Lariat and then fled the ring as fast as possible! When the referee turned around, neither man was moving, but the crowd was letting loose with horrible booing for what had just happened. Despite the interference, both men recovered at the same time and were at similar levels in their exhaustion. They once again exchanged blows, and AGAIN, Nomura seemed to win with his elbow shots…Nomura ran into the ropes, and bounced off…RIGHT INTO A TATSUMICHI AKAMATSU JUMPING HIGH KICK! Nomura crashed to the mat in a heap, and Akamatsu covered…but NOMURA KICKED OUT AT 2.7! The crowd ROARED as Yuki Nomura refused to go down so quietly! Akamatsu looked shocked by this, but none the less waited for Nomura to pull himself to his feet using the ropes, and then BLASTED Nomura in the face again with another Jumping High Kick! Akamatsu covered…BUT YUKI NOMURA KICKED OUT AT ONE! The crowd EXPLODED as Yuki Nomura fought his way up to his feet, all the while SCREAMING in defiance! Akamatsu looked momentarily stunned, but then tried to fire off a THIRD Jumping High Kick, but Nomura blocked it! Nomura then backed up, and NAILED Akamatsu as he stood up with another running elbow shot! Akamatsu stumbled backwards from the impact, and collapsed into the turnbuckle! Nomura roared again, and then charged in with a KNEEL KICK of all moves to Akamatsu’s face! Nomura then lifted Akamatsu to the top rope, and signaled to the crowd before climbing up after him and TRYING TO HOOK HIM WITH A TOP ROPE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! However, Akamatsu saw the move coming, and began to throw incredibly wild elbows that hit Nomura on the side of the head, and on his shoulders to make Nomura let go! Akamatsu maneuvered himself to the mat, and then landed an UNGODLY uppercut punch directly to Nomura’s jaw! Nomura went limp, and Akamatsu hooked him, lifted him, and then hit a running Tatsubuster into the middle of the ring! Nomura’s body was limp of all movement, as Akamatsu stood up…and then put one foot on Nomura’s unconscious body for the uncontested three count…and to the shock, and horror of the CRIMSON fans, Tatsumichi Akamatsu became the 9th C-1 Heavyweight Champion…

The crowd went deadly silent after the three count had been registered…they couldn’t believe what had happened. The BLACKHEARTS hit the ring, and celebrated their leader’s win…Akamatsu’s victory made him the first person in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON history to hold two championship titles at the same time…After a long celebration, Akamatsu took a microphone…It took Akamatsu time to get his breath back before he spoke…but when he did…He LAUGHED. He laughed at Nomura. He laughed at Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and he laughed at Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s fans! Akamatsu finally called everyone in the building “stupid” and said that they’ll have to live with the SHAME that they gave Yuki Nomura hope for the rest of their lives! Akamatsu praised Nomura for his battle…but said that he could feel it within Nomura. This was the only chance he ever would have to be at this level…He had fought with his very soul…but it STILL wasn’t enough to beat him! Akamatsu then wondered aloud who this “other person” was that Nomura had said that was watching over the match to see if he would have to intervene tonight…Before Akamatsu could say anything more, “Disorder King” began to play AS GORO IIJIMA WALKED OUT!

Goro Iijima walked to the ring with a bandage over his head where he had suffered a cut earlier in the night, as the fans began to chant his name joyously as he defiantly walked to the ring! Iijima walked in the ring, and politely asked for the microphone. Akamatsu seemed bemused more then anything, and handed it to Iijima…Iijima paused to look at the crowd, who were still chanting his name…before HE SLAMMED THE MICROPHONE INTO AKAMATSU’S FACE! In a near SUICIDAL move, Iijima began to viciously attack the new C-1 Heavyweight Champion! The other members of the BLACKHEARTS quickly attacked Iijima, and he attempted to fight them off, but was overwhelmed…UNTIL ROUZEKI-GUN HIT THE RING! Izumo Yoritomo, Tenshin Komatsu, Makoto Saito & Daisuke Yamazaki stormed the ring, and the fight was on! Suddenly, N.G.I. hit the ring as well, and combined forces with Rouzeki-GUN until the BLACKHEARTS AND Tatsumichi Akamatsu had been driven from the ring! The BLACHEARTS watched from the aisle way as Iijima calmly walked over and picked up the microphone again, as both N.G.I. and Rouzeki-GUN had separated to different sides of the ring…Iijima walked over to the corner, and pointed at Tatsumichi Akamatsu before simply saying “I challenge you!” to an EXPLOSION of cheers! Iijima then looked at the fans, before saying that while he could never walk the same path as Yuki Nomura, and that they would be rivals until they died…this was still his home. He was one of the few, with Nomura that had been here since 10/13/02…and the destruction of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPEN ON HIS WATCH! Iijima then declared that Rouzeki-GUN was ENTERING the war, and would devote everything in their arsenal to the complete and utter DESTRUCTION of the BLACKHEARTS! Iijima then looked at Nomura, who was still completely unconscious, having had more then his body beaten…Iijima stared at Nomura for several seconds, before he quietly said: “Nomura-san. I’ll make them pay.” To a HUGE reaction before he spiked the microphone and left the ring with Rouzeki-GUN! The BLACKHEARTS won the battle tonight…but the war…Has just begun!
