The traditional biggest show of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s calendar saw the biggest crowd that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s ever drawn at the Miyako City Gymnasium gather to watch nine matches that highlighted the strength of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and the future of where the promotion was going…
Yuki Nomura and Goro Iijima clashed for the third time this year in singles matches in the main event tonight. First, they fought in April and Yuki Nomura was victorious. Then in July where Iijima captured the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. Now in December, the two fought in a two out of three falls match, the first of its kind since 2004. The match had a sense of aura from the opening bell as “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu watched from the rindside area as both men made their entrances… Both men came out swinging for the fences early, trying their best to take the first fall as quickly as they could as both knew that the key to winning a match like this was to be clever, and retain their strength as long as possible.. Nomura looked to have the advantage as he geared up to hit Iijima with the Shukuen, when Daisuke Yamazaki hopped onto the apron to distract Nomura…Nomura knocked the young wrestler from the apron, but turned around right into a low blow and a cradle for the flash pinfall!
Iijima poured on his advantage over the wounded former two time C-1 Heavyweight Champion. Nomura was clearly reeling from the low blow and offered very little defense as Iijima attacked relentlessly, trying to KO Nomura with brutal kicks to his chest and head area. Iijima set Nomura up for the Kinan High Kick, and swung for the fences with the kick…Only to have Nomura duck under! Nomura then grabbed Iijima as he spun around and rolled him over into a cradle for his own flash three count fall to even the match up!
The third fall saw a complete break down of any semblance of order immediately, as Rouzeki-GUN hit the ring side area. Not to be outdone, members of the CRIMSON Sekigun also rushed to the ring, which turned the final fall into almost a lumberjack match! For their parts, Nomura and Iijima turned up their intensity even higher as they used every big move and every strike they could possibly figure out against each other, but the two hated rivals refused to give up or stay down to their enemy. Iijima was able to hit a Rydeen Bomb on Nomura for a near fall, followed directly up with the GORO Stretch…However, with the fans chanting his name, Yuki Nomura refused to give in and fought his way to the ropes. Iijima, however, didn’t give Nomura a second to rest and BLASTED him with the Kinan High Kick! Iijima covered as everyone counted along…but Nomura kicked out! Iijima’s face told the story as he lifted Nomura back up. His face showed rage as he set up for a second Kinan High Kick. Iijima swung, but AGAIN, Nomura ducked out of the way, but this time he grabbed Iijima from behind and tossed Iijima as hard as he possibly could with a release German Suplex, sending Iijima crashing to the mat on the back of his head! Iijima remained motionless as Nomura crawled over, and began to lift Iijima…At this point, all hell broke loose as Tenshin Komatsu, Makoto Saito and Daisuke Yamazaki tried to rush the ring to cause a disqualification, but were attacked and held back by N.G.I.! Nomura lifted Iijima up by his hair, hooked him, and then dropped him with the Twisted Angel Driver, hooking both legs to win the final fall and his THIRD C-1 Heavyweight Championship title!
A joyous reaction went through the crowd as the battle still raged all around ringside…But Tatsumichi Akamatsu stood up the second the result was recorded, and began to make his way to the ring. Inside, a battered and bruised Yuki Nomura was helped to his feet and given the C-1 Heavyweight Championship, but all attention turned to Akamatsu as he stepped fearlessly into the ring. Akamatsu approached Nomura…and extended his hand! Nomura looked puzzled, but then slowly accepted the outstretched hand. Akamatsu shook Nomura’s hand in respect then took a ringside microphone. Akamatsu just asked “Do you accept?” to which Nomura took the microphone…and ACCEPTED Tatsumichi Akamatsu’s challenge for a title shot in January! Akamatsu nodded his head, and then left the ring without incident, leaving Yuki Nomura in the ring to take the chants of his name and the cheers from the loyal CRIMSON fans as the true ace of CRIMSON reigns once again on this day!
It was a busy night for the BLACKHEARTS as the team of “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu and “Power Captain” Akuma Toyota took on the “Demon Breed” from Rouzeki-GUN of Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito for the C-1 Tag Team Championships. It was a more back and forth match then most people was expecting, as Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito gave no quarter and never retreated against the incredible power they were faced against. However, every time Akamatsu entered the ring, the shift in power was so dramatic that it almost seemed to give the fans whiplash. Makoto Saito was completely ineffective against Akamatsu, looking at times like he was almost a small child as Akamatsu brutalized him. Komatsu fared better against Akamatsu’s awesome abilities. At one point, Akamatsu and Komatsu once again had another hellacious strike battle taken directly from their 10/21 encounter. Komatsu fired off volley after volley of low kicks, middle kicks, chops, knees, any strikes he could possibly come up with, but Akamatsu would not go down no matter what Komatsu threw…The strike battle ended painfully for Komatsu, as Akamatsu chopped him right on the side of the neck with such brutal power that Komatsu immediately dropped to his knees almost as if he had been paralyzed. Toyota himself was affective throughout the match, as he used his brute power to throw around his two former partners like they were Frisbees, not to mention isolating Makoto Saito on the outside near the end of the match and using a chair to completely destroy Saito, leaving him lying in a heap. This attack left Tenshin Komatsu at almost impossible odds against Akamatsu and Toyota…but Komatsu refused to give in. The usually disliked Komatsu began to feel the chants from the crowd for the first time in some time, as they rallied behind Komatsu with near deafening chants of his name. True to the fan’s support, Komatsu rallied and began to throw HELLACIOUS strikes to both Toyota and Akamatsu. Toyota was taken out of the match with a flying Komatsu Knee Kick that dropped Toyota, and sent him down to the floor clutching what appeared to be a near shattered nose. On the flipside, Akamatsu still refused to fall, and Komatsu threw shots that would have made a lesser man collapse. Komatsu finally stunned Akamatsu with a high kick, and followed it up with the Komatsu Knee Kick! Akamatsu bent over in obvious pain…but STILL refused to fall! The fan’s chants got louder as Komatsu signaled that this next one would be the final attack, and bounced off the ropes for another Komatsu Knee Kick...RIGHT into a Jumping High Kick from Akamatsu! Komatsu’s speed sent his face into Akamatsu’s boot with a SICKENING thud, as Komatsu’s body went flying due to his speed, and crashed into the ropes, bouncing him off, and sending Komatsu sprawling to the mat in a complete heap. Akamatsu pulled Komatsu’s body out of the ropes and covered for the completely unquestioned three count to give Akamatsu and Toyota the C-1 Tag Championships! After the title presentation ceremony, true to his word, Akamatsu walked over to the still recovering Tenshin Komatsu and offered his hand…Komatsu looked at Akamatsu’s hand…and then rolled out of the ring refusing to accept Akamatsu’s invite!
The Winter SOLTICE Cup finished today with four wrestlers giving it their all to win the Cup tonight. In the first of the two semi final matches, The BLACKHEART’s Keiji Hirano took on Ryosei Royama in what was a surprisingly spirited contest. Royama, who has never really had much success showed that he was capable of being a good wrestler as he kept up with Hirano throughout the entire match. However, Keiji Hirano showed that he was just a few steps above Royama, in route to spiking him on the back of his head with a German Suplex Hold for the win. The second semi final of the night saw a classic battle of power versus speed as N.G.I.’s Takayuki Ariwa took on one of the strongest junior’s in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Hayato Saigo in a fast paced contest. Saigo hit Ariwa from every angle he possibly could attempt to in an effort to keep away from Ariwa’s power, but at multiple instances, he failed. In one of the most spectacular moments of the night, Saigo attempted a Moonsault Attack, but Ariwa *CAUGHT* Saigo in a powerslam position, and then threw Saigo into a scrap buster for a near fall! Despite the horrible size and power advantage for Ariwa, Saigo pressed on and tried to find any advantage he possibly could. Saigo’s break finally came with Ariwa missed a blind charge and ran into the turnbuckle. Saigo immediately dropkicked him in the back of the knees, and then BLASTED him with a running knee to the back of the head! Saigo attempted to follow it up with a Springboard move, but Ariwa AGAIN caught him! Ariwa went for a powerslam type move, but Saigo struggled out, but held onto Ariwa’s arms and in a quick movement rolled Ariwa over into the Matsukasa for the flash pinfall victory! The Winter SOLTICE Finals took place two matches later, and Hayato Saigo was obviously in pain from the get go, as Keiji Hirano poured the assault on to Saigo’s injured body. Hirano looked to have the match won within just a few minutes with a Moonsault Press, but Saigo kicked out! Hirano tried every big move he has in his repertoire, but Saigo would not stay down for any of it. Hirano became tired from his relentless attack against Saigo, which allowed Saigo to make the comeback! Saigo eventually hit his Brainbuster and went for the pin, but Hirano kicked out at 2.9 to keep himself in the match. Saigo signaled for the end of the match, going up top for the Pheonix Splash, but Hirano crotched him on the top rope before he could pull the move off. Hirano climbed up after him, and attempted a reverse superplex, but Saigo fought back, grabbed Hirano and lept off with a modified DDT from the top rope! Both men laid completely spent before Hayato Saigo crawled over for the pin…however, the referee wasn’t there as Akuma Toyota had came to ringside and distracted the referee! Saigo saw this, and hit a baseball slide right into Toyota’s face to take him out of the fight. Saigo turned around to finish off Hirano and RIGHT INTO A TEXAN BOMBER! Saigo did a three sixty, as Jake Bishop fled the ring! Hirano recovered first, and lifted Hayato Saigo, grabbed a German Suplex with both arms held in and dropped Saigo on the back of his head for the three count fall! Both Bishop and Toyota came into the ring and helped Hirano up as he was presented with a check for one million yen and a trophy…To the shock of no one, Akuma Toyota took a microphone and welcomed their new “brother” in the BLACKHEARTS, Jake Bishop! After months with no affiliation with anyone, and teases that he would align with Rouzeki-GUN, the “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop has aligned with The BLACKHEARTS and becomes the fourth member of the group!
The two oldest C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champions clashed in the sixth match of the night for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship as Naoki Daishi looked to make his fourth defense of the championship against Keoni Murata. Both men came in very tentative at first, knowing that everything was on the line, however, that cleared up quickly as Naoki Daishi began to take advantage of Keoni Murata and a dive that he missed to the floor. Daishi targeted Murata’s arm and worked it over for several minutes, however Murata refused to let that stop him and made a comeback. Murata nearly had the match won with a Backdrop Hold, but Daishi kicked out. Murata looked to win the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight title the same way he won it originally with the Great Wave Bodypress, however, at the last second Daishi rose his knees sending Murata crashing into them. Daishi immediately capitalized on Murata’s mistake and dropped Murata vertically on his head with a Northern Lights Bomb for the pinfall victory to retain his championship! Daishi took a microphone post-match, and praised Murata for a spirited fight…Daishi then turned his attention on the C-1 Junior League in January, and said that he hopes whoever wins that challenges him with spirit, so that he can prove that he is the strongest junior in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON!
